I have been wanting to try Milk for a while, being a "meat and potatoes" kinda girl, cookies and milk goes along with that package. I was very pleased. It was a bit hot inside, a little bright with the all white walls, and kinds sterile with all the stainless-steel. The food menu is small, but with many "Urth Caffee" type offerings. I had the ham and cheese and it was quite yummy. The bread was crunchy and toasty and the salad had a great balsamic drizzled all over it. Of course, the very best part was the 6 dollar shake. Vanilla ice cream, chocolate, caramel, and malted ball pieces all topped off with whipped cream and more chocolate and caramel, I was in heaven! I definitely recommend giving a try for a quick casual, yet tasty lunch.
Air conditioning broke, or do they not have it? You serve frozen treats! How do you expect them to stay frozen? I think most things are overpriced and it took a while to get a milkshake. This place is overrated.
I like this place. It's casual and fun for foodies. For the summer, I recommend that you go at night when it's cooler and less crowded. You can sit outside on the patio.
Plusses!
Creative selection.
Fresh-tasting and pretty luxe for the price.
Blood orange sorbet.
Hey, are those French macarons in the ice-cream sandwiches?
They serve Boylan's sodas.
Hey, is that Lucy Liu waiting in line in front of me? (She plays the accordion, you know.)
Blue velvet cake.
Minuses!
It gets god-awfully hot inside when the sun shines through those big windows.
Shouldn't those baked goods be covered? Is that someone's eyelash? Ewww.
Parking.
The young-ish staff could use some polish. Milk is a splurge/treat kind of place; I wish they would greet each customer with more warmth and welcome. Cold, harried, and/or merely competent service devalues even great products such as the ones you can find here.
But Milk has my business.
PS - the last time we were there, we finished up ordering and idly looked around and saw Cameron Diaz waiting right behind us with her bf. You gotta love LA!

Yummy homemade sweets ... AND in the neighborhood. Just can't think of a better way to spend a sunny summer day.
Charming cute owner and a nice selection of food as well as regional sodas.
Regarding Milk and the warm and pressed ham sandwich: I wouldn't say hate. Hate is such a strong word. I only reserve it for my exes, sushi, the last restaurant I went to with my friend (Luna Park), American cheese/Apparel/anything, etc. However, I wouldn't say love either, because love is just as potent. I love Middle Eastern food, Hedwig and the Angry Inch sing-alongs, men (who are not my exes). Simply, I enjoyed my ham sandwich and the generous fluff of salad on the side. I don't have an appetite when the sun is up, and I only eat when the sun has gone down (I kid you not), so Milk was the perfect and light mid-afternoon snack for my nocturnal stomach. My friend, however, ordered the chicken salad, which came in this big bowl twice the size of her head with a few pieces of grilled or reheated chicken. I had never seen anyone get full from just salad, but my friend had to to-go-box the leftover. Counterintuitive, no? Kind of like those morbidly obese people at Souplantation or any salad bar piling on their plates mountainous portion of lettuce for one sitting, all topped off with a glob of ranch dressing.
What's more counterintuitive is why she (and I suppose I myself) wanted to leave some room in the belly: to buy (and eat) their chocolate brownies and freshly made ice cream cookies and sorbet after our uber-green fest. But it's okay, my friend's thin and we both just had our daily serving of veggies.

I tend to find one thing and just stick with it.
It's like that great scene in "Adaptation" when the tremendously gifted Chris Cooper explains to the always lovely Meryl Streep his past love affair with tropical fish.
And then one fine day, he was completely and utterly done with fish, forever. Won't even step into the ocean.
For me and Milk, it's a scoop of chocolate on a sugar cone.

If I had the choice of either robbing a bank or robbing Milk... the answer would be easy. Rob the bank.. then spend all the money hiring Milk's employees as my personal servants. A girl can only dream..
I think heaven would look a lot like Milk.. white, pristine walls... and unlimited treats everywhere you turn. The space was a lot smaller than I thought it'd be, but the menu prevented me from dwelling on it too long. Ice creams, cakes, pastries, bars, cookies; you name it, Milk's got it. It was scorching outside so I wanted something cold and I decided to go with the Banana Mocha ice blended and a Vegetable sandwich. The drink was... to die for. Fresh bananas mixed with chocolate creamy goodness.. I need to learn how to make that, stat. The sandwich was one of the best vegetable sandwiches I've had.. the amount of goat cheese and red pepper sauce was just right. I tried my friend's watermelon juice and Farmer's Market salad and they were both fresh and light, perfect for a hot summer day.
I will definitely try one of their gigantic milkshakes next time. I wanted to take something home, but I just couldn't choose. My blood sugar must hate me..

Although quite bummed after my friend took me to Milk to try one of their signature baked goods (??? still a mystery) they stop serving them after breakfast.
Since we didn't want to leave empty handed we grabbed a couple coconut flavored nutritional waters and picked up a couple of their Ooey Gooey Double Chocolate Cookies. I'm not even a big fan of chocolate (I'm a chip girl.) and I nearly inked in my panties.

They may have jocked Diddy Reese's ritual create-your-own ice cream sandwiches, but at least this place offers a home-made (and very creative) ice cream selection in addition to some yummy home-made treats like ice cream bars (the cookies and cream was was delicious) and an assortment or bon bons, for those of us who can't choose just one flavor of ice cream. Gotta go back to try the baked goods, including cupcakes in a cone!

Websites always make their food looked good so I cashed in on their chocolate cookies. They tasted okay, but they were kind of hard, too. What I really liked was their ice cream. Their passion fruit sorbet is really sour even for a sour/sweet tooth like me. Their ice cream "The Brownie" is the best from what I've tasted. The pecans were toasted to perfection & it tasted so good with the whipped cream. The chocolate & vanilla ice cream was perfect with it. I didn't really like the double fudge brownie because the ice cream make it cold & hard. They have a list of things on their website, but their store looked like it didn't carry half the things listed.

Not much else to add to the myriad of reviews. I came, I saw, I was awed by the desserts. The grasshopper was more minty than I was expecting, but the moonpie, oh my. The food is really good! I ordered the caesar salad and an iced chai latte. Really simple but so delicious! The croutons in the salad were really cheesy and crunchy...yum! My sister got a burger which was really moist and juicy. It looked really delicious. We got our food really quickly and they have friendly service. They have amazing looking desserts. The cupcakes, cookies, and ice cream sundaes looked amazing! Unfortunately I didn't have any dessert but next time I'm in town, I will definitely try all of it! I really liked the location of the restaurant, close to the Beverly Center and cute boutiques. The restaurant is on a corner, which is nice for people watching when you sit outside. I will definitely be back!

One day, I received an email invitation to attend the Got Milk Open House at Milk, Chef Bret Thompson's eatery in Los Angeles. It certainly wasn't a reach as to why these two got together. I'm just surprised it took so long. The purpose of the Open House was to introduce milk-based recipes developed by Chef Thompson to be featured as exclusive summer treats on the Got Milk website and for invitees to do a tasting of those recipes.
Finally, the day arrived and after having checked, I walked into Milk and was immediately greeted with my first tasting, the Savory Butternut Squash Soup, which I loved. I've had butternut squash soup once or twice in the past that seemed too candied; yet, Chef Thompson's version definitely had other flavor nuances. I checked out the recipe and saw that he included ingredients like onion, bay leaf and lemon juice, which definitely added a wonderful richness that was quite tasty.
Soon after the soup, the other 6 items came out in quick succession and believe me, my taste buds were ready for action. I don't quite remember the order that everything came out in, so next, I'll just talk about the other savory item on our tasting menu, which was the Cornbread with a Raspberry Jelly and Whole Corn Kernel Filling. After my last extremely disappointing corn bread experience at a soul food restaurant in recent months, I had high hopes and they were met and in fact, exceeded my expectations by Chef Thompson. Teenage Gluster said it best when he described the corn bread as tender and cloud-like. I'm more of a restaurant goer than a cook, but even I felt inspired (almost) to break out the pots and pans just so I can have a taste of this recipe whenever I wanted. Of everything we sampled, this corn bread was my absolute favorite of the bunch.
Now on to the sweet stuff. First, the Ice Blended Green Tea, which was quite refreshing, but there was really nothing that unique about it. The cuteness factor came to play (remember the cupcakes in the ice cream cones?) when the Banana Dulce de Leche Ice Cream was served in miniature ice cream cones. The banana ice cream, just like the ice cream bar I had on my first visit, tasted like fresh bananas and considering that the recipe calls for fresh banana pulp, it's easy to see why.
As for the Milky Way Malt, I was digging the blending of the vanilla ice cream, the chocolate and caramel syrups and the rest of the ingredients, but one thing was missing, the malt. I didn't really taste any malt at all. On its own as a Milky Way Shake, it would have been just fine, but as a malt, it was missing all that malty goodness.
The cuteness radar reared its again when the mini Arroz Con Leche Ice Cream Sandwich was being served. My friend who came with me really enjoy the textures of the crispy macaroon and the creamy ice cream. As for me, it's more of a preference thing. My perfect ice cream sandwich is ice cream put between two soft, chewy cookie halves, preferably either chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies. I did enjoy the ice cream itself. With hints of cinnamon and vanilla, I almost felt like I was eating a frozen Horchata drink, but the crisp macaroon cookies themselves were just not for me.
When it came to my favorite Chef Thompson sweet creation, it had to be the Berry Tres Leches Cake. One word. WOW! For those of you who didn't know, Tres Leches is a sponge cake that is soaked in three different kinds milk: condensed milk, evaporated milk and whole milk, which can make for a rich, but if done wrong, dessert that can be way too sweet. What's unique about this recipe is that Chef Thompson purees blueberries and than strains the juices into the milk mixture. How ingenious. Not only do you get great antioxidants from the blueberries, its tartness adds a unique flavor nuance to the tres leches cake.
Overall, this was a fun tasting event and it was a great reminder of the different ways we can incorporate milk in our cooking and in our diet, from something as simple as an ice blended drink to something that may take a little more effort like a tres leches cake. In the end, "milk truly can do a body good" so it's important to get your daily allowance, but if that liquid goodness can come, every once in awhile, in the form of a heavenly berry tres leches cake, that's even better.

My gal pals and I decided to eat an early dinner at Milk after seeing a long matinee opera. We were all starving when we got there!
I ordered the special for the day which was a shrimp ceviche with avocados and mixed greens in a rice cracker bowl dressed with passion fruit/lime dressing. First off, the presentation was amazing! You can see for yourself with the picture I uploaded. :) The taste was divine....who would have thought to mix all these things together?! I just wish this was on their regular menu. My gal pals got the panini sandwiches which they all seemed to enjoy.
After the main meal, we all shared some of their famous ice cream sandwiches. The grasshopper is the best...ice cream placed between two flat macroons...a moment of heaven on earth to say the least. The homemade cookies (especially the molasses) were also yummy!
Overall a great place for a bite to eat...I would definitely come back to try more things! Next on my list is the blue velvet cake...never seen anything so incredibly blue!

Okay, first I will admit that I would not normally review an establishment with over 200 reviews. My bf and I visited Milk about 3 weeks ago and we weren't impressed by the blue velvet cake we had. I thought the cake flavor was too mild compared to red velvet cakes I have tasted before, and I just didn't find the blueberries to be complimenting the overall taste and texture of the cake itself. So I wasn't planning to write a review since I didn't have any strong feelings (good or bad) about the place.
Then a few days later I get an invite to a special event at Milk hosted by the Got Milk? campaign. The owner and founder, Chef Bret Thompson was going to offer us free samples of items he was going to place into the menu soon. Gawd, I love being a Yelper! In case you are curious: Chef Thompson used to be an executive with the Patina Group. A little over a year ago, he decided to settle down and establish Milk.
I ate lightly through most of the day to keep my stomach empty and ready for the taste testing. I also avoided eating any candies and that's rather hard to do if you know which company I work for. The first item that I sampled was the savory butternut squash soup. Soup? In warm weather? The flavor was mild and creamy but I liked the nuts served on top. However, I came to Milk for sweet stuff, not savory stuff and it was just too warm for me to enjoy it. I didn't finish my sample but noticed most of the other people in the group had finished their samples and were raving about it.
Next came the only sample beverage on the taste testing list: ice blended green tea. I didn't find it much different in taste or texture from what I've had at other coffee houses. It was cold, but again, i didn't finish my sample. I was starting to feel a little disappointed with the selection, but I did notice that most of the other tasters were finishing their samples.
Then they served milkie way malt. I couldn't really taste the malt, this was a very rich dessert. I was informed that no milky way bars were actually used in making the dessert. Normally, I love rich and sweet things, but I just was not impressed with this one either. It seemed like something I could get from any coffee house or even Baskin and Robbins. I didn't finish this sample, but again noted that many of the other tasters finished theirs. Was something wrong with my taste buds?
Then finally, an item came in that caught my attention: cornbread with raspberry jelly. I was just not expecting that kind of dessert so it really piqued my interest. One bite and I knew this was made in heaven because it was light, moist with the right combination of fluffy inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. I loved the pieces of corn and the jelly just made it that much more delectable. I scarfed down my sample. The other tasters seemed to like this treat almost as much as I did.
But the moment of bliss quickly came to pass because I was not thrilled by the next sample which was the arroz con leche ice cream sandwich which to me looked like a cream puff made out of malt. It was cold in the center because of the ice cream filling, but there just wasn't enough ice cream to satisfy me. It was a small item, so I finished the sample. I didn't hear anyone raving about that particular item.
I was thinking to myself that I was a bit disappointed about the offerings thus far, but I guess the best was saved for last. The next sample tray had colorful slices of berry tres leches cake. The cake reminded me in flavor and texture of the wonderful Paradise Cake served At The Local Place in the South Bay. The cake was fluffy and moist and light and the leche and the berries were definitely complimentary of each other compared to the blue velevt cake I had a few weeks before. I devoured my sample. I noticed the other tasters were also delighted by their slices of cake.
Finally, the server came out with banana dulce de leche ice cream cones. I am not normally a fan of banana ice cream (except banana splits) but this one was delicious. I noticed most of the tasters were also enjoying their samples. I was starting to get full but they started offering samples of all the items all over again. How could I resist sampling the 3 items I loved? I had seconds and even thirds, and soon afterward, I could no longer eat anything else. My sweet tooth cravings had been fully satisfied.
So I am really happy I got invited to this event because it allowed me to meet other foodies, meet the chef, meet the Got Milk? campaign people, and able sample all those items for free. I even got a Got Milk? tshirt afterward. How cool is that?
The next time I visit Milk, I will order the 3 items I loved, along with their homemade drumsticks and one of those cookie rolls. Parking is not easy since it is only street parking. Your best bet is to use the valet service of nearby restaurants. Service is prompt and friendly.

COFFEE TOFFEE CRUNCH SHAKE!!!!
COFFEE TOFFEE CRUNCH SHAKE!!!!
COFFEE TOFFEE CRUNCH SHAKE!!!!
If you can say that three times fast then you better get your buns over to Milk to try one of the best milkshake ice cream creations I have ever had!
Honestly I could not have been happier with finding a quaint little ice cream parlor where one scoop of ice cream (all of which are so fabulously made!!) only costs $2.50 which is a steal in the ice cream world if you are as addicted to taste of ice cream as I am!!
And the ice cream sandwiches here look like they could duke it out with the ice cream sandwiches of Diddy Riese so westwood watch out!!!
But PLEASE promise me if you go here that you will get the coffee toffee crunch because if you don't, then you really won't be getting the full effect of your Milk experience. Coffee ice cream marries toffee crunch toppings and flavors and this is a marriage that will last for a lifetime!! No divorce in site for this union and no prenup needed either because these too will ring in the big bucks together for years to come!!!!!!

Being [moderately] lactose intolerant, it's kinda ironic that I would go to a place called Milk, but I'm a man who still loves his ice cream, and I'd heard good things about Milk's. I ended up having the grasshopper ice cream sandwich, recommended to me by an employee. It was good, but not great. Even after letting it soften for about 10 minutes, the cookies didn't have that chewiness of say, an Its-It that I've come to know and love. The ice cream did taste pretty good however.

A huge huzzah! for milk
this fine establishment makes up my sustanance my social nexus and my spiritual focal point (living 2 blocks away doesn't hurt either) The greatest waiters ever (they call me by name) a great spot, and the greatest milk shakes
some recomendations: The cookies and creme shake, any form of the bannana dulce de leche ice cream and for a solid meal: the media noche.
I'm lactose intolerant and I love Milk.
I've been a long time resident of "Brunch Blvd", that trendy stretch of cafes on 3rd St in West Hollywood. When I started as a lowly PA in this town, my producers always seemed to want lunch from Joan's on Third or Toast. Never mind that parking was impossible and that wait times were long. And truly, the food at both those places was good. Now as a producer myself, I'll find myself saying "How about Toast?" when the question comes up of where to order lunch from. After all, I have my own PAs now and they can deal with the parking and the crowds.
But last Friday, on a rare day off, I was looking for a place to have lunch with my PA, err I mean girlfriend, and did the usual drive down 3rd. Parking at Joan's was impossible and the line outside Toast looked like an open call for American Idol.
And then I remembered Milk. I'd driven past Milk so many times and thought it looked like a cool lunch spot but had never stopped. It was probably the subliminal effect of the four milk bottles in their logo and the thought of the havoc that 4 quarts of milk would wreak on my stomach.
But I put aside my fear of lactose and stopped.
If there was a cafe in Fritz Lang's "Metropolis", the exterior of Milk would be it. Imposing, industrial and futuristic in an early 20th century way. The clean industrial look continues on the inside, all white tiles, exposed pipes, industrial lights and stainless steel.
The lunch selection is similarly minimalist. Essentially sandwiches and salads. But you don't need much more when the sandwiches are this good.
I had the Media Noche, which is pulled pork and ham with manchego cheese, pickles and roasted garlic mayo. Now I've never been to Cuba, or even Florida, but this was hands down the best pulled pork sandwich I have had in LA. The pork was incredibly moist and tender, the slice of ham added another preparation of pork, the bread toasted and crispy and the cheese perfectly melted through. This is a sandwich I could crave.
My girlfriend had the Turkey BLTC. A good sandwich but nothing was going to compare to my Media Noche.
If I had left room for dessert, I would have attacked their gelato counter. They had a great selection of fruit flavors and I'll definitely return for it. They also have a huge selection of ice creams, shakes, malts and floats for those who actually tolerate lactose. Ice cream sandwiches and bars too, which I haven't seen for years. Their cake and cookie selection was similarly large. The ones that stood out for me were the cupcakes served in ice cream cones and the Blue Velvet cake. Very David Lynch.
So the next time one of my PAs suggests Toast or Joan's on Third for lunch, I'm going to fire them on the spot.
Unless that PA is my girlfriend. In which case I will smile sweetly and say, "Whatever you want baby. You're the boss."
Then I'll send my other PA out to Milk.

How do you make your boyfriend cringe in his socks? Mention you want to go to a restaurant called "Milk" for lunch.
And why is that? My boyfriend is lactose intolerant so when he heard of a restaurant called "Milk" he was already cringing before we were out the door. I was just giggling knowing he'd love it and he had nothing to worry about.
Now he thinks he runs the show so every chance I get I always poke him. Really, it's fun. "Hey babe, let's go to MILK today to eat!" "You can order a grill cheese sandwich with a milk shake on the side." You should see his look, the disgust on his face is priceless. It's like giving him a poison pill and it makes up for every practical joke he's ever pulled at my expense.
But the truth is, the food is really fantastic and has nothing to do with dairy products. There's an awesome selection of sandwiches. Lots of them on toasted artisan bread. The salads are yummy and filling and will leave the most finicky eater happy. From pulled pork and pickle sandwiches to burgers you can't go wrong for lunch or dinner. Really, it's just an upscale version of a diner without the grease or short order cook.
After lunch try the amazing pastries and I do mean amazing. Tons of different types of ice cream sandwiches, gelato, blue velvet cake (yes, cool huh?) and cupcakes made in ice cream cones! Then there's the regular assortment of cakes and stuff. All great as well.
I just let my boyfriend have his way. Next time I'm looking for a restaurant called 'Dairy' in my quest to 'one up him'. Any suggestions?

So many delectable things to eat. I had the Media Noche sandwich and that was a bit salty and the bread was super toasty. However, the truffles and the Banana Peanut Malt more than made up for that shortcoming. The shake is perfection. Thick...just the way I like it and huge. I know a good shake when I taste one because I used to work at Baskin Robbins. Thin shakes are an abomination. The Chopped Cobb salad is good too. I've also tasted the blue velvet cake and in my opinion its alright. A bit tasteless.

It was my wife's birthday on Thursday and I had gotten her some of the most yummiest Red Velvet cupcakes from Mira's Cakes. Being the crazy girl she is my cousin calls me up saying she was going to swing by the house on their way back from Long Beach, WTF? Why's she coming by at 10pm on a Sunday night?! Don't this girl know I'm old and the kids will get an adrenaline rush when she walks through the door!? Oh well, come on down!
Me and the wife are watching the Kite Runner on DVD and at the same time wondering why my cousin is coming...then it dawned on us, SHE'S BRINGIN FOOD!!!! We were actually thinking of trying to snack on something when the thought came to us, so when the doorbell rang the adrenaline rush came and we bolted to open the door!
My cousin comes walkin in with a "Milk" bag and a brown paper bag with a plastic container with blue stuff in it. WTF is this blue stuff? Turns out the blue stuff was Blue Velvet cake with some kinda frozen cookie dough....I dunno what kinda cookie dough it was, my mind was firmly stuck on the blueness of the cake. So after my cousin tells us what it is, where it's from and how good it is, she went on her merry way and we busted out plates and started in on the cake.
Who the hell came up with the idea of Blue Velvet cake!? They are nuts?! That damn cake was GOOD! HELLA GOOD! Yeah I said "Hella" I'm from Norcal, reviewing a Socal location and yeah I said it! HELLA GOOD! Love it! Eat it! The cake that is! If you ever go to Milk and like blueberries in cake try the Blue Velvet cake it's GOOD! HELLA GOOD!

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Being over in this area of Beverly and seeing what the place looked like I assumed the normal LA "too cool" pretentious crowd. However, MILK was just the opposite. The service was quick, polite and helpful. At first I saw the prices and thought "great another overpriced meal with skimpy proportions." Instead we got huge portions and amazingly good food with fast service. Me and a few people sat outside and when my soup arrived I could practically get in my swim trunks and swim laps in it....tortilla soup = amazingly good; I also got a Cobb Salad which was big enough for two people with this pesto vinaigrette dressing that was like a orgasm in my mouth. I will for sure come back to MILK to try some of the other tasty treats.

I've always been a sucker for sweets. But something funny happens to me when I go to Milk, something almost demonic or out of my control that makes me feel as if I will never have another ounce of sugar in my whole entire life. This leads me to order $20 worth of cookies, ice cream and cake every time I step through the door. I feel like a woodland animal hoarding and stocking up on the sweets for the unbearable winter. But alas, it is approaching summer and the ice cream and sorbets will continue to put me in sugar coma until I can come back a few days later.
I've never been disappointed with anything that I have ordered, and yes I have experimented with the salty as well- to balance the diabetic onslaught. My favorites being: the ooeey gooey chocolate chip cookies, the cookies and cream bar, the media noche, and the mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich.
Don't be fooled by the lines, the service is quick and the prices very reasonable for all the old fashioned treats in this modern establishment. I looooove Milk!
Very cute and clean place! I ordered the Turkey BLTC which came with salad and it was just okay, nothing special. My friend wanted the Media Noche but they had run out of the ingredients. But other than that, I had a really great experience. The DESSERTS were PHENOMENAL! They have so many baked goods from blue velvet cakes to cookies to cute ice cream sandwiches and little bonbons called milkies. They also have a wide selection of drinks & floats and an ice cream and sorbet bar! Definitely try the sweets here!
I had their sandwich and salad!!
I can just tell you that it tastes so fresh and delicious!
MILK around Saturday afternoon at 3pm on Memorial Day Weekend was surprisingly not packed.
You could seriously order one salad and one bowl of soup and that could feed like two people. You could make little boats out of paper and sail them from one end of your soup bowl to the next and reminisce about life. What? The Caesar Salad was good (but seriously you would have to have Asperger's to get caesar salad wrong) and Tortilla Soup was excellent.
Anyway, this place is very cute tranny. However, I had to minus one star because A) they didn't have orange juice to nurse my hangover and B) I did not see anyone from the cast of The Hills. Very unfortunate.

The first time I was here, I know a different Bret but his name is Brent, who suggested this place only if you are a milkshake fan. He's a friend I met from Mike and Kolbe. Very good people in my opinion.
I first did not know what to order because my eyes were so big, I really wanted to try all of it. I ended up ordering "The MILKIE Way Malt". The ingredients is what sold me on this item. I love malts and they included 3 chocolate covered malted balls on top of my order. We just ate lunch and stopped here for dessert. I was sooooo full and still wanted more after I finished.
The second time we came here, I remember seeing a lot of food items like salads and sandwiches. I really wanted to try other items on the menu besides the dessert. Again we were here for dessert so I wanted to try "The Blondie" thinking it is another shake or something. You should have seen the girls behind the counter. They kept asking each other, can we do that? What did he order? They then placed a white chocolate blondie which happens to be a big ass cookie on a plate and about to serve up a scoop of ice cream. I asked them what this was because what caught my eye was the white chocolate and I was thinking shake. I was a man with a clouded mind with white chocolate on the brain. I ended up changing my order to the "Banana Peanut Malt" which I don't remember tasting any peanuts in it at all. I was happy to see malted balls in this order as well.
Now I see an event that has posted for an open house on May 20, Tuesday from 5PM-7PM. Precisely the time I will be at work.

That's when I saw that I have not reviewed this place yet. Maybe I can take a day off on this day but until then, hope everyone enjoys.

My friend and I went here for lunch today. Wow it was good. She got the special which was some pasta thing with sausage. Wow it was good and huge. I got a basic burger. Love mine also. I have been wanting to go here forever. I just cant find parking. Thats the big pain about this place. I would give it 5 stars otherwise.
Strange thing today though there was a fight outside. Have no clue what happened since we were sitting inside. The ending resulted in a guy in a crazy looking car throwing a glass of something at the people and the waitress they were having an argument with.

If you feel like you deserve a quick free meal in exchange a having to listen to your 40 year old date brag about what a superstar he was in HIGH SCHOOL this is the place to go. The food is incredible. You order and pay for the everything at the counter and then someone comes to your table and serves you. However, if you eat fast enough, you'll be in and out of there as if you'd just met for dessert only. Problem is the desserts here are so good they should be illegal and you will likely want to stay. Two suggestions might be to either:
Eat with your eyes closed or refuse a fork and eat using only your mouth and hope he leaves after your first bite.

I ordered their Ham and Cheese sandwich ($8) and it tasted blaaand!
The desserts are sweet but it isn't out of this world extraordinary. I still think those 50 cent chocolate chip cookies you get in middle school are the best.. remember those?
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream ='s World Peace:)
(Desserts Are 5 STAR...baby!......
A single scoop is $3, a double $4, and triple is $6. It's more cost effective then Yogurt and more 'Tangible' in the 'Real Food' Department!
Get a 'triple', eat 1 and a half scoops and bring the rest home. ($3 per serving)......woof woof ruff yummmy!
*****It's True. Milk has 'Amazing' Hummus!!!! I know but it's True:) Skip the 'pita chips.' I didn't like them and my Aunt's dogs didn't like them either.
(no, I never offered the dogs the chips....Maltese thieves)
I've had the chicken Caesar salad. This consisted of about 8 strips of tender chicken breast. There were homemade croutons and the dressing was a bit, off, but passable. (The soup/half salad is a great deal!)
***UPDATE*** The Potatoe Leek Soup Stinks. The Minnestroni wasn't far behind:( .....UPDATE:(.....The Soup Stinks ***Except for the pulled pork soup*** But I don't care:)
The 'specials board' looked interesting but since I ordered takeout, I'll have to try it another time.
I've been here before and didn't really enjoy my pressed sandwhich.
HOWEVER:),
The ice cream bars/sandwiches/shakes, and cookies look and taste DELICIOUS (period)
