After my iphone 4s was ripped out of my hands and stolen the other day, I had a ton of insurance paperwork to fill out. I needed a notary, and am still not familiar enough wit this city to know where to go.
I googled "cheap NYC Notary" and Yelp was the the first thing that came up. I called around 7pm, we chatted for a moment and ended up meeting around 9pm. it was quick, easy and he thoroughly looks over the paperwork and does a great JOB. He is 100% professional, friendly, timely & super knowledgeable.
...and if you go to him for the evening service on 14th (which just happened to fit both our schedules) it is only $26.00 for a basic notary. A Steal! -

Mike came over within 2 hours of my first email to him. He's a polite sweet guy who spent a few quality moments with my cat leroy before carefully reviewing and notarizing all my documents.

Very prompt, very knowledgable. I needed a notary at 10:00am He was at my work's lobby at 9:30 and it was all over. can't give enough good feedback. finally something easy and straight forward in a sea of interdependat errands. Mike showed up and did his job professionally and quick just when I needed it.

My cousin needed a notary in less than three hours yesterday. I scheduled Mike to meet her at the hospital via text. He was ten minutes on time and reasonable. I would highly recommend him.

It's 11:30pm Eastern time. You want a Power of Attorney, original, notarized, signed form sent _same day_ the next day from NYC to SF, and you need to talk to a mobile notary who will: a) take your call at this later hour, b) be available to get up at 7am to head to get your document notarized, c) will drop it off with fedex same day shipping, d) will be detail-oriented and meticulous enough to not let anything go wrong.
If all goes right, you make big bucks because you just closed your deal. If anything goes wrong, deal doesn't close, you fall out of contract, and bad things start to happen.
Enter Mike's Manhattan Mobile Notary. Mike took care of this exact situation for me, and he did it with a smile (or at least a virtual smile over the phone; I was able to do it all the way over the phone from San Francisco without even meeting in person).

We've asked Michael to come to our office to notarize some documents several times now. Each time he has been punctual, efficient and friendly. He is also very careful and goes over each document at the end to make sure it has been correctly signed and notarized. I would highly recommend his service for both personal or corporate use since his charges are very reasonable too.

I needed a notary ASAP on a Saturday afternoon. I called a bunch of FedExes and banks, and no one had a notary available. That was pretty surprising considering it's New York City and i'm sure there must be some demand for notaries on a saturday afternoon. anyway, luckily i came across Mike's site and gave him a call. I truly appreciated the fact that he actually answered his phone, unlike many of the other places i called, and that he was very accommodating with my schedule. He was very nice and didn't mind at all coming over to my zip code (10022). He was right on time and even looked over the documents before I signed anything to make sure everything was in order. i would definitely recommend him and will certainly keep him in mind the next time i need something notarized.

Mike is great. He was on time, for one thing, but he's also very nice and personable. His prices can't be beat either. I was paying $65 with Ken, and the last time his prices went up and he didn't say anything. First, he showed up an hour early, at the place we were going to meet, and then when I ran over like a maniac, he said, "Oh, I would've waited". Then I was $2 short, so he walked me to the cash machine. Ken is tension producing and Mike is like a breath of fresh air in comparison. (and $20 cheaper)

I had a fantastic experience with Mike's Manhattan Mobile Notary. I had a very urgent need for a notary, and called at the end of a business day. Mike was at my location within the next two hours (actually well before the appointment time)! Although I only requested noterizing a few signatures, he went out of his way reviewing the documents. He actually found a few errors. The price is identical to any other notary's, but his services are at a totally different level. I highly recommend Mike to anyone who values competency and professionalism!!!
