Review from Jennifer Q.

I was here recently for a weekend Lia Sophia Jewelry conference. It is a really beautiful building. Very light and airy -as you can see -many windows allow the light to shine in. It's not so dark and depressing as many other convention centers can be. I really liked that there were motivational quotes everywhere -about historical events, diversity or education. It seemed like a thoughtful way to decorate a convention center. Unfortunately, I was so busy going from class to class for the conference, I didn't have much time to really stop, read and soak it all in. -But every time I passed the artifacts on the wall, it struck me that it was a nice touch to add to a building. Especially these days, with things so depressing at times, I thought to myself that more buildings should utilize all the open space (i.e. walls! LOL) and use their structures for a good purpose. There is so much rich history and culture to share with the residents of big cities. Again, I just thought it was a really thoughtful way to decorate and promote positive and inspirational thinking at the same time. Kudos to the "MAC"!

This airline is pretty basic and boring as hell, but the warm chocolate chip cookies they serve almost make up for the blandness of this airline. You have to make a pit stop in Milwaukee WI for every flight, which is the worst airport in the world, but the seats are large, leather, and the cookies are amazing.

Pretty second rate convention center. Has tacky faux-historic architecture and god-awful carpeting. But it's still a good thing for the city and better than nothing - it needs to be expanded, with a giant green park on the roof - then I'll give it 5 stars!
