Fairly new hotel. Clean, affordable, AAA discount and free continental breakfast...what more do I need?
This is a very basic hotel so don't expect any plush robes or towels. The towels were tiny and they felt like fine grit sandpaper.
The shower drain was VERY slow and by the end of my shower, I was standing in 8 inches of water.
The elevator is SLOW. Tip: Walk down the hall to the stairs and take the stairs instead. You'll save yourself a few minutes!
The A/C unit in the room was great. It was quiet and functioning..unlike some other units I've had to fuss with at other hotels.
Our room had a CRT television; no in-room checkout.
Overall, my Saturday stay for $53 was great for the money and if I had to stay overnight in Antioch again, I would stay at Microtel.
