2 reviews for Microsoft Museum
Most people wouldn't think about going to the Microsoft Museum, unless they were working for MSFT or with someone who works for MSFT. But that's not required, the place is open to the public, and full of interesting historical tidbits about technology. From original computers, all the way up to the latest and greatest video games - and it's all FREE (my favorite price)
Important note: It's only open during the week

Even though it's free, I don't know that I'd go out of my way to visit the museum, but it's in the same building as the company store, so why not? There's definitely some nostalgia factor, seeing Windows 1.0 and 3.1 running. The games are fun too.
They have an Altair, old Xbox prototypes, and some old magazine covers, but you're not going to find the super cool computing artifacts that you'd find at the Computer History Museum in California. But for a company museum, not too shabby.
