I use my computer for everything and the simple thought of being without it for even a day brings my business to a complete stand still. I took my computer to Mo and the team and it was fixed and replaced within hours. The service is not only impeccable but affordable.
Mo and his team are amazing! Quick turnaround on their repairs, great customer service, and a great convenient location. I no longer worry about computer problems because I know Micro Computer Centers is always there to the rescue. -

Horrible service, definitely the worst I ever had. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! You will regret going there. They are rude and they lie about what time you can pick stuff up.
My flash drive got corrupted and I asked them to retrieve the files off of it. I was devastated because I needed those files for my midterm that was soon. They told me they could recover the files that night or the next day. I was surprised that they could do it that fast, so I agreed to it. Worst decision EVER! The manager of the store, while an ok guy to deal with said he would would call me when they were done. I got no response that night so I called them, they said they were running the software to retrieve my files. So they called me the next day early in the morning. I talk to the same manager and he says I see some files being retrieved, call me in 2 hrs. My mom calls in 3.5 hours because I was in class, he tells her to call again in 2 more hours. By this point, most of the day is gone and I need my files.
I go down to the store about 4 hours after my mom called, I deal with this rude technician who says they found some files, but they are all corrupted. They found other things too but I was only worried about retrieving my school files. I tell them to run the program again, the rude technician tells me ok. It will take 1 hour. I wait there for 1 hour. He tells me he will call me when its done. I come back the same software now says that it will run for 13 hours!! He did not even tell me that after the hour I have to wait 13 more hours!! I am in the store, I have to wait 20 min for him to get off the phone to finally talk to me. Extremely rude! They end up not retrieving any of the files off my drive.
I go to office depot, in 1 hour they retrieve some of the folders I need off my drive.
Overall: Micro Computer Center is horrible!! Rude service and horrible communication. They kept pushing and pushing the time I could come to pick it up! If I didnt go there, I would have probably never got my flash drive til next year! -

I had to come out of Yelp hibernation for this one. Frankly, don't come here unless you don't mind getting your computer back "whenever."
I had to call them about 8 times to check if they received the parts they ordered for my computer, if my computer was fixed yet, etc. They never called me once despite promising to do so multiple times.
Less than 4 weeks after they repaired my laptop, the same part broke again. I brought it in and complained. They said they'd fix it again without charge. Repeat the same song and dance of me calling, them not calling. Then they charged me, claiming they meant there would be no charge for service, only for parts.
Basically, they don't do what they say. Avoid. -

Noori and his staff were able to fix my macbook pro for hundreds less than the apple store. When the repairs exceeded the initial quote for a LCD screen repair, Noori stuck with the quoted price. Fast and reliable, I would trust them with any repairs or computing questions.
I definitely felt I could trust these guys with my computer and to give me a fair deal on repairs. -

I had a similar experience as Sharon H. Her review talks about bad customer service and that is all I had when I dropped off my laptop for repairs.
Now I am an understanding person...if i give you my computer to fix and you say it will take 3 days to fix and you call me on the day its supposed to be ready and say there is a problem it will take longer... I understand... But this never happened with the people at Micro Computer Center.
Here is what happened.
Dropped off computer, was told it would be ready by Monday and I told them I would not be able to stop by to pick it up till Saturday. They repeated that it will still be done by Monday.
I called them on Saturday to say that I would be coming in to pick it up and they said that it was not ready and that the technician was currently working on it. They then told me that they were sent the incorrect motherboard and had to wait for the right one.... So why did they not call me and let me know? They had a whole week to let me know and if they called me and told me, like I said before, I would have been fine with that...
At the end of this phone conversation on Saturday I was told that they didn't know when it is going to get done...that's it... nothing else...
So after this experience I knew that I would have to call them all week to make sure that when I went there on Saturday it would be ready for me...and every time i called them they would say that it would be done by end of the day and it never was until late Thursday.
I went to the store to pick it up on Saturday and they never mentioned anything about the delay and there were no apologies or anything for what happened.
I asked them for a discount for my troubles and thats where it got even worse... The person I dealt with was rude and even said to me that he never asked me to be a customer at his store. I was shocked the way I was treated. On top of this they lost my power cord for the computer and ended up giving me a crappy universal power cord and said that we shouldn't be giving you this because we think you never gave it to us...
I highly discourage anyone from dealing with them because of their lack of communication and just plain rudeness when it comes to dealing with their customers... -

My desktop PC (VAIO) would not boot up. Just kept re-rebooting and it sounded like the HD had crapped out (250 gigs of precious data all gone to virtual heaven?? Help!!).
Based on the one review on Yelp, I brought it to Micro (who has been on the same corner for well over ten years- must be doing something right). Diagnosed and fixed for $75 and I could not be happier.
They also replaced the power port on my Mac book for the same price as Mac Specialists quoted, but without the Apple Attitude (if you know what I'm sayin')
These guys know what they're doing. -

Great place for odds and ends. Why waste time at Fry's, when you can often find there odd cables, cases, parts, and adapters here.
Generally I'm found there prices to be competitive, and they will usually meet or beat any reasonable advertised price. -

System fan on my Thinkpad T43 was on its last breath. Bought the part online for $40, they did the install for $80. My palm rest had some cracks in it so bought a new one and they installed it too, for free (they'd have to put the palm rest back on anyway).
Overall a job well done. Completed in 2 days as promised. My laptop works like a charm again, without the whining of a dying fan. 5-Star quoted me $70 but they're further from me and Micro still isn't a rip off like Best Buy. -

These guys are definitely the ones to use. They are quick and honest. and reasonable. Read my horror story about Cellular Expo to realize that t his is the place to come for all your computer repairs.

I started to get a little grumpy when the repair team took a day longer on my laptop than they thought they would. But - BUT! Final cost? Half of what I've paid for similar work elsewhere. And they even treated me like a thinking human being who knows how to work a computer! Totally fair trade-off to me. Should the need arise, I'd definitely use them again.

I have NO idea why people have rated this place so highly. I went here because of its high rating and was surprised and sorely disappointed.
Firstly, the place is a dump, but okay, I understand: some holes in the wall actually turn out to be the best in terms of what really matters. But after they'd had my laptop for days, I called them wondering what the heck was going on, and they said they were waiting for a part to come in from the manufacturer. Okay, but why didn't they call to tell me what was going on? Don't most places call you about what the problem is, and then ask if you want to go ahead with the repair?
Whatever. The real kicker is coming up. Although they plugged it in at the store to show me it was working, when I finally got my laptop home, it was a little better, but it essentially had the problem--i.e. the AC adapter wasn't connecting to the power source. I brought it in AGAIN to ask what the deal was. Turns out that they had fixed the (supposedly) broken power jack inside the laptop, but had not bothered to check to see if there was anything wrong with the AC adapter, which there was. I actually had to buy another AC adapter from them. Moreover, the guy who explained this to me COULD NOT speak English--like, my French is better than his English--and it took forever to understand what was going on and was extremely awkward and frustrating.
THEN--as if that weren't enough--several days later I discovered that my audio input had dropped a centimeter or so into my laptop--as if when they'd opened it up, they'd allowed it to fall in like that. So now I can barely use it. Thanks a lot, guys.
The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because at the end of the day, they at least did fix the problem I came in for. But as much as I love supporting little places like this, I think I'm gonna have to go to something like Fry's or Best Buy, which for all their faults, at least maintain a certain level of professionalism. -

I am so happy to have Micro Computer Center just a few minutes from my house. I have been going here for 10 years and have always had good experiences. It feels like going to your neighborhood dry cleaner or tailor -- I bring my broken hard drives and computers in and the owner always greets me warmly and takes care of my problems without any drama. I would kill myself if I had to go to Geek Squad or some other big box repair center. If your dad needed to have a mechanic that he trusted to take care of his baby, you need a guy like this to take care of your modern version.

I went out this place because I was in true need for a new desktop. I went in totally confused about what I wanted to purchase and I left feeling like a pro and able to sale computers for a living. They were attentive to all my desires and I was out of the place within a reasonable time. I hate computers but I live this place.

One of the fans in my PC case died, and I needed another one. After calling a few local places, I was assured that these guys had the fan I needed. Sure enough, when I went in there, within moments a gentleman who's name is Moe I believe found the exact fan I needed, at a price I expected. Excellent place I plan to use more often for my PC needs. :)

So, I'm going to have to join in on the terrible reviews. I came here based on the four-star rating on Yelp, but I won't be coming back.
I brought a friend's laptop in for some repairs. First off, it isn't exactly comforting to take a computer to a repair shop that looks like a historical diorama from 1996. With all of the ancient Microsoft advertisements in there, it is sort of the PC equivalent to an East German hospital.
Anyway, the lady at the front tells me that they'd call me back the following day about what was wrong with it. I waited three days. No call, so I called them. The first person I talk to tells me they'd call me back whenever the "tech" comes in. I call a few hours later. The next person I talk to says they'l call me back in another two hours. Three hours pass. Finally, I call a third time and get put on hold for 15 minutes. I hang up, call back, and get put on hold again. I finally talk to the person working on my computer and they tell me that the computer is totaled. After sending the laptop to its manufacturer, we discovered that the battery simply needed to be replaced.
I mean, I'm usually pretty relaxed about bad service. But this was f*cking ridiculous. I'd take the Geek Squad over this. -

The folks at Micro Computer are the pros. Mohammad Noori is a great man--fair, honest, and ready to help you out, no matter what kind of computer trouble you're in. If you are a computer tech and need hardware support, he is your go to guy. If you are a consumer user, he is your go to guy too. I would never hesitate to refer anyone to go to Micro Computer.

Always good quality work at affordable prices.
They helped me out of a bind on a few occasions, when another provider screwed me over, took my money and gave me nothing in return.
Great job guys! -

DO NOT trust all the positive reviews on here. I did so and realized it was a big mistake.
I took in a laptop that simply needed some new hardware. I dropped it off, explained the issues and expected a call within the next couple of days. I patiently waited A WEEK to no avail. I gave the place a call, and was told the guy working on it was simply not there today, and that they'd call me back later. FOUR DAYS LATER, I gave the place another call and they told me they'd have it ready by the next day.
When I got there, they told me what issues my laptop had been having. I won't go into details, but the problems were definitely basic enough that they should have been done dayyyysss before. Not only that, when I arrived at the store at the time I was told to, the guy was barely halfway through!
I took it home, and guess what? They had fucked up the computer even more. The screen's resolution was blurry and squished horizontally. On top of that, I couldn't use it for over 5 minutes without it crashing. If anything, they had added more problems to my laptop. I took it back and they told me they'd fix it. I'd like to note that they didn't ONCE express any form of apology for this added burden.
Another full week later without a call from them, what else is new? I just gave them a call again, and they gave me the spiel again about the guy not being there.
FUCK
THIS
PLACE!
And I mean it! For your own good, do NOT come here if you want reliable service. Yeah, the price is somewhat cheaper than other businesses, but you get what you pay for.
Also, I'd like to note what a cold bitch that lady is who works at the front desk. I think she's actually been dead for quite some time, there's no sign of life in her eyes whenever I speak to her.
