Mici is a place that my wife and I go to when we say "where haven't we been in a while".

They have great delivery and it's nice to just go sit down in that crappy part of Stout and watch "life" go by.  The serivce is friendly and the food is consistant.

I think a lot of people over look the pasta which is amazing and a fav of the wife.  I wish they had full bar but I make due.  It's out of they way and quiet.  If only they had whiskey...

If half stars were an option, Mici would get 3.5 stars, but since they aren't, I am going with 3 stars. We ordered Mici for delivery last night and ordered 2 salads (Ceasar and House), a pepperoni pizza and a Biagiotti calzone (olive oil, mozzarella, goat cheese, ricotta, roasted garlic, sun-dried tomatoes). The 3 star rating is mostly due to the salads. While both dressings were good, the salads were lacking in the topping department and had lots of lettuce pieces that were that thick white center part. The pizza was also pretty good, but the calzone was the star of the order. It was cooked perfectly- the bread was crispy and the filling was very yummy.

The delivery was also prompt and both the individual that answered the phone and the delivery person were very professional and courteous. They were even happy to split our order between two credit cards; something most restaurants are reluctant to do for delivery.

I will order Mici again, but will skip the salads in favor of something different.

This was the first restaurant i during my recent trip to Denver, it was recommended by my friends who was touring me around the city.  Although, everyone had mentioned their pizza was great, i end up trying out the Rosa instead and it was great, the pasta was flavorful but not too overpowering, it was just right for my taste!

Their garlic bread was delicious, one of the best I had at any Italian restaurant!

I'd definitely will try out the pizza the next time i go back.

For a quick (counter service) Italian lunch, Mici is always a favorite, offering a refreshing contemporary take on traditional Italian favorites. Sandwiches are excellent, and pizzas feature creative tastes and combinations. The Biagiotti pizza is especially good.

It's the neighbourhood ffavourite for those nights you don't want to cook, and you don't want Mickey Ds - with really decent food. Pizzas are light and crispy. Only tried one of their pastas so far - but the pesto is pretty good - the rich creamy sauce teeters on the side of heavy w/out but tastes light. Staff is super friendly and cheery - and there seems to be a local crowd... I have a feeling Mici will be on our speed dial.

I've been going to Mici for a while now but just recently tried their lunch special.  A large piece of pizza and large side salad for $7 bucks is a great bargain for downtown Denver at lunch.  Both items were very good especially for the price.

Not the best pizza I've ever tried, but it was very good ... similar to how we make it at home, with the corn meal on the bottom to keep it from sticking. I enjoyed the calzone, and my children enjoyed their smaller cheese pizza.

Of the lunch choices we found near the 16th Street Mall, we were quite satisfied with Mici -- would recommend. It might be worth four stars, relative to the restaurants and other choices in the area ...

I am guessing that I am not the only one who thinks Denver's delivery scene is a bit lacking...you're hungover/lazy and all you want is good grub.  Sometimes, not often, but sometimes I actually am not in the mood for Sexy Pizza...and I have never had very good Chinese food in this town...And altho I love it, sometimes I don't want a Thai curry...Glad I found Mici Handcrafted Italian.  I am guessing that Mici's is not THE best Italian food in Denver...but it does serve its purpose...and it is actually very tasty.  Tonight I ordered a Margherita Pizza, Penne Rosa and a side Caesar Salad.  Of course I tore into the pizza first...and it was good.  Fresh mozzarella,  sliced tomatoes and a good crust.  (Plus it was a good size for a personal pizza.)  Next the Caesar Salad...nothing terribly special, but the dressing was good...sometimes ya gotta just eat your greens...next was the Penne Rosa (which came with some lackluster garlic bread, but I think I just like mine really salty.)  Again, the pasta was surprisingly tasty.  And all of this for just a little over 20 bucks (plus tip.)  That's right, they do deliver.  And you can order online (Truth be told, sometimes I just don't feel like talking to people so ordering online is a plus.)  All in all I think Mici's is a pretty solid choice.  I know some of the other pizza joints in town also serve salad/pasta with their pies but this is definitely the best I have had so far.  Give it a whirl next time you are feeling lazy and want to try someplace new.

OK, so it has a full bar and decent patio in the heart of downtown. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. We had pasta and pizza. The pasta was about the same as getting the premade sauce at the grocery store for twice the price. The pizza was OK and you can get that quality in your grocers freezer. I may give them another try as I saw a poster for a large pizza and bottle of wine for $25.

YAY FOR PIZZA!

We have become a fan of Mici over the past 6 months for the simple fact that they have great pizzas and salads.  Fairly expensive, but worth every penny.  Delivery is always speedy, and it arrives hot and steaming, not luke-warm and soggy.

Be sure to check out their "specialty" pizzas.

I was visiting from out of town and was looking for a restaurant within walking distance of my hotel.  I saw the reviews on here and decided to check the place out.  The food was pretty good.  I really did enjoy my calzone.  However, I gave this place 3 stars for 2 reasons:  (1) I agree with the other reviewer that the salads leave much to be desired, and (2) the person that "waited" on us.  This is NOT a full-service restaurant, but apparently, they expect to be tipped at full-service rates.  Just be forewarned.

MOLTE CARNE! I am a carnivore!

Small family owned spot, Mici has minimal decor and seating but they produce some quality food. They have a patio so on nicer days so you can people watch, which downtown can be might amusing! Could of swore one time Forest Gump came running bye, but it was just some dude trying to catch the bus!

Justify the calorie, carb and fat gorging by walking from your office four blocks away! Or at least tell yourself that, cause it works for me!

Tried this place during my stay in Denver for GABF. I found it using the iPhone Yelp app when we refused to wait in the mile long line on the first day of GABF. The decor is really funky considering the style of restaurant. It had a modern look, but came off as more of a fast food place. My friend and i split a meat pizza and a veggie pizza. They were average. Prices weren't bad.

From some of the reviews on here I expected more.

One of the best italian spots I've been to.  I really enjoy the calzone's, the garlic butter spread on top is the best.  I highly recommend.  Very good pizza too.

Mici's was completely unexpected.

My lady friend and I decided to pop-in to grab a quick bite. The decor is fairly minimal, looking more like a chain than a family-owned restaurants (which it is). You order up front, and the seating is fairly minimal. The few times I've been in there, we were the only ones (this was also at weird times though).

In any case, if you are looking for a nice sit-down restaurant, Mici's is not it. However, if you are looking for INSANELY GOOD ITALIAN, then you have found it. While the pizza and the sandwiches are good, the Calzones I've had at Mici's have absolutely blown me away. Furthermore, they have Peroni on tap, which they serve in a hefty and cool glass for cheap.

Just remember that this place is not about the atmosphere, but instead at getting you top-quality food fast. It's my favorite Italian place in Denver.

This is probably my favorite little restaurant in Denver. I love it because it offers super tasty Italian (pizza, pasta), wine/beer, and it's inexpensive. It's located in a fairly convenient location downtown, and has a beautiful, very simple look to it inside. My main squeeze and I love the pizza and wine combo for $25.

Hot damn that's good pizza.  I was in town for a week and a half and probably got lunch there five times.  Get the Molto Carne - it's all meaty and delicious.

We dropped in here to eat prior to the GAbeerF, and were not impressed.  The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't that great.  We had the Margarita pizza and the Insalada Della Casa.  The pizza was not very flavorful, the cheese would all fall off onto your chin with the first bite, leaving you with pizza crust and sauce......maybe that was my own eating problem, but really, you could NOT bite through the cheese! The salad and dressing were quite nice. So if you're in the area and need a quick bbite to eat, enjoy, don't head over for a special dinner.

Decent pizza but a bit overrated.  Heard great things so I expected a lot.  Good sauce but not enough herbs and seasonings for my taste and the crust a bit too crispy for my liking.  Nonetheless, very solid stuff.

A step above the chains.  Mici offers my favorite, wheat bread pizza, and high quality antipasto.  Offering high quality toppings.

Not an outstanding Italian spot by any means, but for the price, location, quickness, and ease.......it's not bad. I like that they offer Wheat Pasta, some nice Salads, and wine. They also deliver. I live right there, so it's really convenient.
