This thai restaurant amazes me in which they have a pretty lengthy (relatively speaking) listing of frog legs. Their menu is also full of other things - fish, lamb, steak, lobster, squid, noodles, duck, vegetarian dishes and so on. There's a kid's menu and a wine list as well. Pretty impressive for a Thai restaurant if you ask me.

As far as food went, this Thai restaurant was good, but not at the same caliber as Lotus Siam or Royal Thai (at least, not from what I've had so far). I would give this place 3 1/2 stars if I could.

I didn't go into the establishment so I didn't really experience everything, but from what I got for take-out, they forgot my free salad that is supposed to come with my lunch special ($7.95) of red curry beef. The red curry beef was tasty and I could eat it. The meat may be a little tough, but it was still good and flavorful, possibly thanks to the curry sauce.

The chicken fried rice was a little bland - the chicken a little dry. There was an apparent nutty flavor but it wasn't enough to offset the bland taste that was evident.

The ginger chicken was good, according to a friend of mine that had it.

Verdict so far? I've had better Thai in Miami, but I am not familiar with any other Thai restaurant in Miami Lakes. Avoid anything with rice, or just don't expect much out of it. Order anything else and you'll be satisfied.
