Dr. Scoles is the best dentist I have ever had. He's personable, professional, and does a quality job. One of the things I love about the practice is how friendly everyone is. My regular hygienist, Lindsey, remembers specific details about me and always asks about work and my family when I go in for my twice-yearly cleaning.
I also appreciate the small, attentive details: they give you a warm, aromatherapy neck pillow shortly after you sit down in the chair; they offer you a carnation flower before you leave, along with a goody bag of maintenance supplies; and they also provide complimentary teeth-whitening. Amazing!
Bottom line: If you are anywhere near the Renton area, and are looking for a dentist, Dr. Scoles is the man for you! A high quality practice with down-to earth folks. -

I have been seeing Dr. Scoles for a few years now. His Saturday hours make it easier for me to get to the dentist and to focus on work during work hours. Since I started seeing him, Dr. Scoles has put a lot of effort into upgrading his office: adding high tech computerized tools and charts. The overall feeling at the office is comfortable, for those that are squeamish, and he has been accommodating in making sure I am not experiencing pain when I have had work done.
Dr. Scoles cemented his standing as a 5-star dentist when I began to develop pain in my jaw muscles. Dr. Scoles has put in countless hours doing research on my situation, seeking input from experts around the country, and creating a plan for how to help me. We have exchanged emails over the weekends and over his holiday.
Dr. Scoles refers to himself as a "dental geek" meaning that he really does enjoy his profession and is in it because he is fascinated with it and wants to help people, more than being in it for money. I think this is apparent in Dr. Scoles' level of service and I would recommend him to anyone. -

I've always had bad experiences with dentistry, but Dr. Scoles' office is reversing this fear for me. Absolutely, hands down, THE BEST dentist experience I've ever had. They answer questions in a detailed manner, are completely gentle in their cleanings and stand by the notion that modern dentistry does not have to be uncomfortable. Their prices are shockingly low for the level of service and professionalism exhibited. They even contact your insurance ahead of time to find out what they will cover and how much it will cost you. If you need major work done, they will give you a detailed quote, including what your insurance will cover. Oh and the cool freebies they give you are great and valuable too.

We offer Comprehensive dentistry. Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics, Orthodontics, TMJ, Oral Surgery, and Implants. Last year, he took 188 hours of continuing education, far surpassing the state requirement of 21 hours. Please visit our website for more information.

Established in 1975
We have been in Renton for over 35 years. Dr. Reich started the office in 1975. Dr. Scoles has been in the Renton area for the past ten years. Many of our staff members have been here over 20 years, with the least tenured member being with us for the last eight years. You will always see a familiar face when you visit!
Meet the Business Owner: Michael Scoles S.
Dr. Scoles graduated from dental school in 1998. He then served in the US Navy for three years. While in the Navy, he received advanced training in Oral Surgery, Endodontics and Prosthodontics. This additional training enables Dr. Scoles to perform a wider array of procedures in the practice, procedures that would normally have to be referred to a specialist. In the last seven years, he has continued to take continuing education courses to improve the care he delivers. He is certified in Invisalign, Powerprox, and the Tip Edge technique for orthodontics.
He is the only dentist in the area who is a mentor at the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, the worlds leading educational center for CEREC dentistry.
Dr Scoles has another office in Issaquah.
Dr. Scoles and his wife Laylia have beentogether for eleven years. His interests outside of dentistry include kiteboarding, volleyball, and working in his shop.
