My husband and I have just started going to Dr. Stricker and we will NEVER need another dentist. The experience is lovely from the moment you walk in the door and it continues until the time you leave. I know this sounds odd considering the dentist isn't usually a "lovely" experience by any stretch of the imagination; however, Dr. Stricker makes a point of performing the entire service himself for the first appointment and he couldn't be kinder or gentler. No bloody gums, no lingering pain, no general annoyance at an exorbitant co-pay. We were in and out in an hour on the nose and paid nothing thanks to my husband's insurance.
I am THRILLED to have such an awesome new dentist with the nicest office staff and it is literally around the corner from my house. AWESOME. -

Definitely the best dentist I have ever had. Every resident I work with recommends Dr. Stricker (there's a connection since we work with his brother) and for very good reason. His staff is very accommodating with respect to appointments and my schedule. I have been twice, and he personally did the cleaning on both occasions (I've never actually had a DDS before that did his own cleanings) although I am sure that is not the norm. He is a very affable gentleman who truly puts you at ease.
There is no question I would recommend him and his office to anyone. -

Dr. Stricker truly is an amazing dentist and deserves all the praise. The office is located on the corner of 30th Ave and Judah St in the Outer Sunset -- conveniently accessible by the N Judah. The office is small, but very clean and efficient (they call to remind you about appts, always keep the time, and have Discover magazine in the waiting room... which I never have time to read).
My Russian childhood dentist memories have scarred me for life, and I have anxiety just thinking about teeth. I may be young still, but I've had plenty of work done on my teeth so I know what to look for. Dr. Stricker always takes his time, calms me down, and works fast yet SUPER gentle. Seriously, I don't even feel the Novocaine shots. He also whistles while he works, which means he likes his work and is proud of it, and is therefore very, very good at what he does.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Oh, and his mom's quilt hangs in the first exam room, and I like finding meaning in it.Listed in: The Sunset!

This is my new dentist!
I was skeptical about all the 5-star reviews but he might just be this good. From start to finish I was very happy and impressed with my experience. I called the office after finding it on Yelp and the woman on the phone (later to be identified as Ana) explained to me everything about my insurance, the office, the doctor - awesome! She worked with me to make sure I could still get to work on time the day of my appointment.
I've been there twice now (he found a cavity! :( ) and both times my appointment times were on time or even a little earlier. Dr. Stricker was friendly, ready to answer whatever questions I had, professional and overall very pleasant. The filling on the cavity seems to be doing just fine and I'll definitely be returning in 6 months for cleaning! -

Dr. Stricker has been my dentist for a very long time. He is the best Dentist I have ever had. He enjoys his work so much he'll whistle a little tune now and then. He's friendly, patient, kind, thoughtful and a super greaat Dentist. His staff also deserve many kudos as they are wonderful. If you're looking for a good dentist with pleasant staff look no further...this is it.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Stricker for close to 20 years. We both LOVE Dr. Stricker, Anna, Patti, and the rest of his staff. We call him Dr. Happy Tooth because on top of being a first rate dentist, he is caring and is always in a good mood.
When you go, don't miss his mother's quilts which are hanging on his walls. She deserves credit for her creativity and for producing such a nice son. -

I don't have a dentist phobia, but that's because Dr. Sticker has been my dentist since I was 3. 23 years later I have never gone to anyone else even though I went to school on the east coast.
I love that he whistles while he works and that Anna his receptionist, and Patti one of his hygienist's are always super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend him and his entire staff! He's always worth the drive across the Bay! -

I'm reluctant to do this, because I don't want the secret to be out... but I can't not. Dr. Stricker really is a five-start dentist. Classy, personable, friendly, helpful, and most importantly good at keeping teeth clean and healthy. Making an appointment was simple, his staff, both receptionist and hygienists, was friendly and helpful, his office was clean, and everything was done quickly and painlessly. I highly recommend Dr. Stricker. Go. Your smile will thank you.

Dr. Sticker is great. If you are even remotely dentist-phobic, he's your guy. His office isn't the most convenient location unless you live in the sunset, but it's well worth the trip. The hygienists are friendly and efficient and as gentle as they possibly could be. (Let's face it, if your dentist phobia has gotten the better of you for a while, there will always be some unpleasantness to the experience... but that's really your fault, isn't it?)

I was looking for a dentist close to home and found Dr. Stricker right here on yelp. Read all the reviews...what more can I say, look at the stars! I should've done this review earlier but the kids and I had such a great visit you kind of forget those "dentists worries." Dr. Stricker, Anna and Staff are awesome! It's like I've known them for a long time! Don't look any further for a dentist especially if you live here in the Sunset!

A few years back I was looking for a Dentist as I wasn't happy with any that I had gone to in the past. A co-worker recommended Dr Stricker and I can happily say that I haven't gone anywhere else since. I've never felt so comfortable at a Dentist's office before; the staff here are amazing and super friendly. I HIGHLY recommend coming here if you need a new Dentist....or even if you already have one. You will not be disappointed!

I love my dentist so much that he inspired me to write my first yelp review! I've been going to Dr. Stricker for 3 years now--my former housemate has seen Dr. Stricker for years and recommended him to me. I've had nothing but positive experiences with him and his staff. This despite the fact that I'm cavity prone, and have had to have a few fillings. Dr. Stricker and the hygienists never make me feel guilty even when I admit I've been slacking on flossing. Other things to love: clear explanations, relaxed environment with little or no waiting, quilts to fit the season made by Dr. Stricker's mum; receptionists who remember you and make you feel like a friend. Possible negatives: out of the way location (though its right on the N-Judah line and parking is easy) and simple decor (don't expect to watch TV while you're in the chair).
