I have been to Michael twice in the past year and half. His treatment room has a peaceful, relaxing energy and feeling. A very satisfied customer who received deep tissue massage for shoulder and arm pain. Recommended!

I felt like I had a new and improved body after finishing a 90 min session with Micheal. He has years of experience and incorporates different techniques in one session; reflexology, deep tissue, craniosacral and more. I'm scared to give him a great review because he'll be booked up and i won't be able to get on his schedule. He's that splendid !

I was back home for Christmas break so I decided to make a return trip to Michael and I am so glad I did! He was just as professional and attentive as before spending the majority of the appointment focusing on my busted up back just like I requested. Now, every time I come home my "must do" list will include Wailoas, beach, plate lunch, and an appointment with Michael... not necessarily in that order!
Highly, highly recommended!!!1 Previous Review: Show all »

...A few weeks ago, I was blessed to have a 90 min massage by Michael...and let me say...it was in my top 10. I've been to spas around the world, and he is my massage therapist now.
I recently moved back to Hawaii after living in SF for 13 yrs, and I was hoping to find a permanent therapist. Well, the Universe placed Michael on my life path, and I am filled with appreciation for that.
His skill is bar none , exceptional.
Love and hugs!

I found Michael on Yelp and tried him out. He was awesome! He really listened to what was bothering me and really worked those areas. He just didn't do the "routine" as many other therapists do no matter what your concerns are. I feel great!!
He is really good and I am looking forward to calling on him again! -

We have been seeing Michael Bradley every two weeks for the last two years. That should give you an idea of how good he is. Great person, good conversationalist, and an excellent massage therapist.

Michael was extremely pleasant and courteous through every step of our massage appointment process. He answered all of my questions and gave me great directions over the phone. When I arrived, he looked out for me and greeted me outside his home.
His massage room was clean, serene and breezy.
Michael knew the exact amount of pressure to put on me and was professional throughout the massage. The scented oil he used was wonderful. I'm looking forward to my next massage with him....hopefully SOON! -

I have been using Michael for around 6 years for my massage needs. He is friendly, professional and (as a bonus) a great person. He is the only person I trust to do deep tissue massage on me without worry of being hurt or being in pain. He has years of experience working in some of the finest hotel spas, but has grown such a reputation for his excellent work he is by appointment only. He can do out calls to any hotel or home or you can go to his lush garden like home for a relaxing escape. Trust me it us well worth the time and with his very reasonable pricing he is the best of the best!

Hands down, the best massage I have ever had.
After 2 weeks of upper back and neck pain, I was fortunate enough to get a session with Michael while he was in San Francisco. He really worked my muscles, almost like a deep tissue sports massage, but more relaxing. I felt phenomenal and convinced my boyfriend to get a massage too. We are both now hooked!
He will do a private, in-home visit and is very reasonably priced.
I highly recommend and can't wait for his next trip back to San Francisco. -

Hands down, the best massage therapist!!!
I ran the Honolulu marathon yesterday, and I woke up with a massive body ache, barely able to get out of bed... I knew I had to go get a massage. I've tried massages from expensive spas to cheap massage schools, but nothing compares to Michael's massage. Thanks to Yelp!
He knows all the right places (like inner scapula, outer tibia, and along the spine) and the pressure was peeeeerfect (I like mines on the stronger side). Just what I needed from head to toe, literally! The unique combination of shiatsu (my fav), lomi lomi, and deep tissue really helped massage out my achy muscles. It hurt when he was massaging it out but it was a feel good pain! You can always ask him to change the pressure. But I loved it!! I even fell asleep a little bit...cuz it felt so good!!
I'll definitely be back again. I wanna say tomorrow, but I gotta save money for Christmas shopping ;p But I'm def going back before the year end. Thank you Michael!!!
Location: Home studio or he'll travel to your home!!!
I went to his home studio - small but nice and cozy, smells good too!! It's a much better deal if you go to his studio too, but if you're too lazy to get out of the house, it's still way cheaper than many other places.
Parking: No parking so make sure you street park on Oceanview or Sunset. I found parking easily. -

After all the reviews, I thought I'd try him out.
But for Hawaii, he is expensive, and it was one of the worst ever!
Deep tissue and lomi lomi, it was not! I requested deeper and it was just a rub. So if you want just a body rub he is your guy, if your looking for a good deep tissue massage to work out the knots, he is not the guy!
Not worth the $80/hr when you can find better for $55/hr.Comment from Michael B. of Michael Bradley Massage 7/29/2011

I have had many massages in my lifetime and MB is one of the best massage therapists around. I specifically recommend him for those who build up a good amount of stress as well as for athletes who suffer from injuries. Michael did a great job working on my various sports injuries. He can provide a firm and heavy set of hands, and for those who can handle it, he can apply added pressure when asked (not for the weak).
He is highly professional and top quality. -

Michael is amazing! He has a sweet, calm demeanor, has the right touch and knows how to apply just the right amount of pressure. I'm the kind of person who expects my massages to hurt (in a good way, of course) and Michael delivers. We've met up with him in Hawaii and he also comes out to the SF bay area for business trips every few months. I always look forward to my massages with Michael!

I travel to Hawaii several times a year. As soon as I book my ticket to Honolulu, I call Michael to book a massage. I've been getting massages from him for over 5 years now.
Michael is a great therapist: thorough, sensitive and intuitive. He has a very calm and easy way about him. Very healing.
I've had massages at his home studio as well as at the vacation rental my family was staying at.
Either way, you can't go wrong with a massage from Michael. -
Review from louise f.
San Francisco, CA
Michael is seriously good. He uses a variety of techniques--all to good use. I have never experienced his type of massage on my hands and feet. I never knew there were so many areas to massage on hands and feet! With each stroke and knead, I felt total relaxation.
He is conscientious, respectful and very thorough.
He sometimes comes to SF, too, and he will come to your place. -
Review from Kris F.

I have been to other massage therapists, but always prefer to schedule with Michael. His trained and intuitive approach is a much needed gift after a long work week or even after a hard workout.
He uses his skilled gradient of pressure with your needs in mind- he has helped release the tightest of knots during the most stressful of times, as well as gently eased pain in a sports injured shoulder.
I highly recommend Michael to all of my friends and I am certain you will too. -

So I had not had a massage in a few months and Michael's handiwork totally reminded my why I need to get one more often. He targeted all of my tight spots and broke down the built up knots with just the right level of pressure. Though I felt like a bowl of jello afterwards, I was content and completely de-stressed. Michaels hands definitely work some magic. There's no question that I'll be fighting for a massage reservation next time he's on the west coast.
