What a wretched place.
We ordered a simple hamburger and sub ("Nacho Cheese sub," a strange name, given that there was, perhaps, a droplet of nacho cheese - it should have been called the "Stale Bread sub" instead), and they couldn't even do that right. The hamburger was cold. The extra mushrooms we paid 75 cents for? The slices wouldn't even add up to a baby mushroom. The bread was stale on both, and the hamburger seemed like it had been sitting out for quite a while, as it was about as cold as a regular refrigerator.
The reason we tried the food was because we received a flier with coupons listed; the website wouldn't take the coupons, and when the driver showed up, he wouldn't take them. "I don't work for the company," he said. Who was this guy? Did he mug the real employee and bring us our food? Who knows. What we do know is that they charged a $3 delivery fee.
When we called to complain, the customer service person gave us a credit for the burger - $3, though the burger was $4. And no credit for the Coke that I wouldn't have ordered were it not for the coupon that should have made it free.
The place is awful, in terms of both service and food. Don't go there. There are other places in the same area that are way better and about the same price.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kathi C.Miami Beach, FL141795Apr 3, 2012
I've lived here for ages and never gravitated to this place, until a friend wanted Nathan's hot dogs. I'll get the positive out of the way- I like that the place serves several brands for whatever you're craving- hot dogs, subs, grill, and fried fish- very much like a food court at a Jersey Turnpike rest area.
Unfortunately, the rest is bad. We got there after lunch time on a Saturday, and there were only 2 people in front of us. Yet, it took a good 20 minutes to get our food. We ordered 2 hot dogs with chili and cheese with fries as well as a gyro platter (gyro, pita, side salad with feta cheese and fries).
Even though my friend ordered the combo with the fries and drink, the upcharge for chili and cheese was $1.60 per dog, so his meal was about $10 with very little chili and cheese. Even with his all-American palate, he said he wouldn't order these hot dogs again.
My gyro platter tasted okay, but it literally sat high on my stomach the rest of the day. I don't think they used the freshest oil or best ingredients to make their food. Maybe it serves me right to order gyro from a Miami Subs!
The restaurant wasn't very clean either; even though they weren't busy, the tables looked unwiped and the bathrooms unserviced; I'm guessing they were shorthanded.
This section of Collins Ave is lined with neat bakeries, South American grills, coffee shops, and even some standard chains like Quizno's, McDonalds and Subway. If you're in the area, there are a ton of better places to try.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jenna M.Miami Beach, FL6322213Dec 16, 2010
Pretty good for a quick bite. I'll have to admit there is usually quite a show in there. Between homeless people, weirdos, and Miami Beach regulars you can be entertained for hours at a Miami Subs Grill on the beach.
The food is always consistently decent and satisfies that urge to eat something naughty.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Allen B.Chicago, IL258266179Mar 2, 2011
Miami Subs Grill...talk about a dinner crave like no other. Their subs are exquisite...exquisitely greasy and filling that is. But it pleased me.
I am pleased. =)
...but i've had better.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Cleo B.San Francisco, CA100242Feb 8, 2009
This place is disgusting and has flies buzzing all around. The bathrooms are dirty and there was no soap, the staff cannot speak English and the atmosphere is dingy and gloomy. My food was served cold and the bread was stale, you couldn't pay me to eat at this place ever again. The health inspector needs to check this place out - and then close it down for good.

For fast food, not bad :) I got a sub and really like their seasoned fries. I think the crinkle fries leave something left to be desired. I've ate hear a few times and my subs have always been good and the veggies on them fresh, which is more than I can say for a lot of subways around here!

Tuna sandwich sucks (excuse my french) compared to subway or quiznos, but still charge similar price or higher. Never will buy here again. Don't know about other items though...

This place sucks. Dirty, awful, we ordered a Philly cheese sub that supposed to come with CHEESE, there was only some "drops" of cheese or whatever was that thing I could not even take a bite on that, the bread was like like hundred years, very bad I absolutely do not recommend this place for anybody, even for my worst enemy :(
