8 reviews for Miami Hilton Airport & Towers
Just like most Hiltons, this hotel is a good choice to stay...at least if you want to be close to the airport. The staff is friendly and willing to assist. They have a complimentary airport shuttle which is a plus, but $12.95 for internet access is a minus. The scenery is beautiful with all the palm trees and the lagoon.
The room was decent-- clean, but the carpet was a bit stained. Two beds, a little desk, mini-bar. The tv was a small traditional type rather than the big LCD flat screens that are becoming increasingly popular in hotels. Basically just a standard, no frills room.
As for my experience with the meeting rooms, we were well taken care of. We made a request to change the temperature which was handled immediately, and everything else they were already on top of. The catered food at the meeting was very good.
Stayed here for New Years and it was absolutely great!
We had so much fun, the service was spectacular and who can complain when u get to wake up with the beautiful view of Miami.
For New Years we were able to see the fireworks coming from all parts of Miami...it was quite an experience.
The rooms have been nicely updated with a more modern decor.
We requested a roll-away bed and microwave which was brought to our room within 5 min of arrival.
We also had access to the executive lounge. Real nice complimentary happy hour and continental breakfast.

staying here now, got sick from gas fumes in the shuttle and the hotel is in need of a remodel. nofood service except room service after 10; except for a pathetic bar menu. staff is rude, sr.tay elsewhere, certainly not up to the hilton name or evena courtyard.
If you find yourself in Miami ~ on a short leash, unable to venture too far from the airport, this isn't a bad place to spend your days. The hotel surrounds a lagoon, which provides for a decent view - considering you are less than five miles from one of the largest airports in the country.
The pool is large and clean with plenty of lounge chairs and an outdoor bar. The fitness center is well equipped with cardio machines, free weights, benches, and pilates balls.
My room was clean, comfy and roomy.
The drawback is that you are far from any nightlife - including restaurants. And typical to any Hilton, the in house dining is expensive. Also, the room is not equipped with a refrigerator or a microwave, so the nearby market is not of much use.
This Hilton hotel has a good location, very close to airport and around lagoon. Don't know if it's an artificial one.
Cons: $10 self-parking and $15 valet parking. Not many hotels charge you parking fee. Also their carpet is too old. Need to change. No free shuttle between this Hilton and other Hiltons in town.
Pros: It has a big LCD screen showing all flights schedule just like airport. Free shuttle between airport and hotel.
back in my previous life I used to do a lot of events and trade shows, the Hilton was always in my short list- I must say that we never had a bad experience here.
Their catering team was fantastic, there was nothing they weren't willing to do to make things right - Usually we ended up staying here after the events, even though I live a few miles away, but didn't want to risk the DUI -
The rooms are nice, it is always entertaining to open the curtains and watch the airplanes land and take off. Comfortable surroundings, good location and perfect for meetings and small events.
There are good and bad things about this hotel.
Let's start with the bad:
- Some of the rooms desperatly need to be upgraded. We originally had a single room with two double beds. The bathroom tile was old, and the lighting fixture was the plastic grating.
- Along with the rooms, the hallways and carpets deperatly need to be cleaned and maintained.
Let's go onto the good:
- They upgraded us to a room between a regular room and a mini-suite. These rooms have been upgraded, including the bathrooms. They have a lot more room (living room and wet bar) and are much more comfortable.
- The staff is all wonderful. There are a lot of complaints with many of service workers in Miami, but you won't find that issue here, at all.
- The location is great, you can get around Miami easily, from Little Havana to The Beaches, to Downtown, to Kendall.
- The food is wonderful.
I wouldn't really say this is the ideal vacation spot - when you vacation down in Miami, I'd imagine most people would rather be on the beach. But, it's a good place.
The Coral Cafe here was one of our favorite lunch spots when I worked out by the airport. They have a buffet with a daily rotating theme. The bread pudding was by far the best part - this was some of the best bread pudding I've ever had and I still come back here whenever I fly through MIA.
