Finally had a chance to try their breakfast here and it is excellent. For just under six dollars, MGM will shove a breakfast in your face large enough to require three plates:

1) The toast plate: with a choice of white, wheat, rye, or maybe something else depending on what their baker delivered that morning.

"I'll have the wheat, please."

2) The meat & egg plate: two eggs done however you want, a choice of meat, and an option for home fries or grits (plain or creamed, cheese if you want).

"Over-easy, some fresh carved ham, and plain grits, kind sir."

3) The carb plate: french toast (3) or pancakes (2 big 'uns).

"Hmmmm....  flapjacks sound good."

It wasn't greasy at all, the eggs were done just how I like them, and the hand-carved ham was phenomenal. All in all, a wonderfully executed big-honkin' ol' fashioned hearty American breakfast, the stuff that fuels farmers and factory workers across this country. No bourgeousie brunch to be found here--you can take your mimosas and shove them up your mimassholes.

The topper for breakfast was over-hearing two men discuss how the best currency is pussy, "cuz ain't no man gon' turn down pussy, that shit is accepted e'erywheres." Brilliant.

So when it's a Saturday morning and you're looking at a long day of handyman work because the old lady is harping on you to fix a bunch of crap that only she cares about, stop in MGM for a hearty breakfast before heading to the Home Depot down the street to pick up supplies. Besides getting a delicious and filling beginning to the day, you also might hear a conversation that, for a fleeting moment, may remind you of the days when you still had your balls attached, before your significant other yanked them off and stored them in a jar high on a shelf in the cavernous walk-in closet she made you build.

"One of the beast sandwiches I've ever had". I'm always happy to find a restaurant that does one thing and does it perfectly. This is essentially a diner with take out, but in a rare feat for DC, is clean and inviting. The location is awkward unless you make regular trips to the Brentwood Home Depot, but it's worth a trip.

This place only does meat Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef and surprisingly they aren't a BBQ joint. We had a turkey sandwich with Cranberry Chutney and it was easily the best Turkey Sandwich I've ever had (sorry mom).

I can't speak for the other meats but they all looked amazing.

Great place for a real sandwich! Fresh bread and roasted meat with your choice of toppings. I ended up with a white meat turkey and ham combo on a onion roll. It was delicious. It's a bit of the beaten path-sort of across the street from the Brentwood post office, but worth the adventure. Oh and the place is spotless.

So, the neighborhood is weird and the parking is a little crazy (it took a few minutes for us to figure out how to actually get into the parking lot), but the food was amazing! All four of us had the roast beef sandwiches, sliced right in front of us, fries (w/gravy) and we all left stuffed. The owner was super nice, the rolls were perfect (soft, but didn't get too soggy under the au jus) onions cooked just right... my only complaint is that it's not the easiest to get to, but worth the trip.
