Metrosport is a recent addition to downtown Los Altos and I was hoping it would pick up the slack after The Runner's High in Los Altos closed up shop.

Unfortunately, that is not really the case. The store is tiny and doesn't stock a huge selection of shoes as is preferred. I've been in there a couple of times and really feel for the staff because the store is mostly empty. I think they are generally bored as hell because they pounce the minute you walk in.

I was interested in two pairs of shoes, neither of which they had in my size. They had them delivered from another of their stores and called me to let me know when they were in. I went back to the store and the pair I really wanted (and that they had sent from the other store) was not the same as the shoe I saw in the Los Altos shop. *Sigh*

Plus, they really seem to have little stock in back. Almost every shoe I wanted to try was not available in my size.

Overall, this Metrosport is a disappointment.
