i was in a pinch before leaving for vacation. i needed someone to watch our cat while we were gone for nine days. i searched yelp and found katy of metro pet services.
she came by the next day to meet me and minou, the kitty. she even brought the kitty a little goody bag, which she got a hold off while i was out running errands, bad kitty!
anyways, she must have done a great job watching minou because minou didn't leave us any unexpected liquids on the bed upon our return.
i will definitely call katy again! -

I wish that I can give a five star here, because I do wish to find a reliable pet sitter for my two kitties.
After reading the reviews here, I contacted Katy in early September, one month before my planned vacation. She quickly responded and set up an initial appointment for the following Saturday morning. So far so good.
Then I waited and waited on that Saturday morning, until it was 1:00pm. No one shows up. I called her, and nobody picked the phone. I wrote her an email; nobody responded.
You see, if things can go this bad for an initial consultation, how could you trust your precious pets to such a pet sitter? -

Katy is the best! We cannot say enough good things about Metro Pet Services. After contacting a couple other pet sitters - at the last minute - ISO one for the X-mas and New Year's holidays, I was very discouraged. Some were completely booked, and a few didn't even respond to my inquiries. Katy, on the other hand, promptly responded and came right over to meet my 2 large, needy, unruly dogs - one of whom is older and blind, and both of whom have separation anxiety. As soon as she got here, the dogs were immediately comfortable, and she put us at ease as well. We also returned to a spotless house and 2 happy, healthy dogs. Katy, as well as her contractors, is professional, accommodating, discreet, non-judgmental and all around terrific. We would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone. (We also heard form the neighbor that the dogs didn't howl once - their signature trait when we are not home!) Thanks again Katy! We look forward to using your services again!

We have used Katy's twice to care for our three cats and our house. She offers a variety of service options, is flexible and reliable. And best of all when we return our cats are always happy to see us (not upset since we left them). I would highly recommend using Katy's services!

Metro Pet Specializes in only the finest care for your pets. I provide daily visits, dog walks, overnights and pet taxis. I am American Red Cross Pet First Aid and CPR Certified. With that, my business provides something that most sitter do not and that is the knowledge and training to give sub q fluid injections and insulin, and care for special needs pets.
I have worked with senior, blind, deaf and physically disabled pets that require attention that is out of the "ordinary". I am not afraid of a challenge and am always up to learn something new to better my skills so that I can provide something more than just visits and walks.
I am also knowledgeable about canine reproduction, whelping and puppy critical care. With this I can help assist you and momma dog with the birth and care of your new puppies!
