I'm new to pet stores (I'm about to adopt a cat), and have been running all over town collecting supplies to welcome my new kitty into my home. Out of all of the pet stores in Seattle, Mes Amis is BY FAR my favorite!
This is absolutely a specialty pet store- the stock is well edited and you can tell the owner only stocks the foods, litters, toys, and products she really believes in. The prices are very fair and reasonable for their high quality. The decor is so, so cute (those robin's egg blue walls!) and there's even a shop kitty to purr at your feet while you shop! I love coming here because it's chic and cute but not pretentious at all (like many other pet "boutiques" around). I mean, even the store's name is adorable!
Nicole really listens to her customers and their needs, and is so open and willing to help you pick out the right food or litter for your pet without trying to push you to buy something. She's incredibly knowledgeable and helpful.
Oh, and there's a reason that they were voted to have the cutest collars in Seattle! I'm having a hard time deciding which one to pick up!
Again, highly recommended. Stop and get a donut at Top Pot next door after you stock up on cat food. -

Nicole didn't have the kind of dog food we give our dogs, but she ordered it while I was in the store...even did a little research with me to make sure this was the best diet for them to continue.
It's a cute little shop, to be sure, and the customer service is impeccable! -

Perhaps it's the cool blue glow reflecting off the walls... or maybe it's the gumball colored collars and leashes hanging just inside the big bay windows. Perhaps it's the retro metal fans silently spinning, casting cool shadows along the hardwood floors. It might be the feminine little display tables, neatly stacked with immaculately displayed goodies or the repeated design themes of elegant polka dots, vintage toile and classy stripe patterns scattered throughout the store-scape.
Who knows... It might be the glass bakery case stocked with frosted goodies, or the name itself, lovely little french words combined to mean "my friends"-- It could be one, or all of these things, but whatever it is, it's exquisitely right. It's delicate and feminine, but not overwhelmingly so... It's airy and boutique-y, but still feels comfortable and inviting... It's full of both essential and frivolous products, not exclusive to little dogs or female dogs or even to canines {plenty of kitty goodies + wholesome foods as well!}
It's Mes Amis and it absolutely is Seattle pet people's latest must-see!! -

Nicole, the owner, Is AWESOME! She literally is the best and most informative person I have ever met. She is quick to order something for me.
Nicole stocks her store with only the best items, for cats and dogs. I cant say enough about this store!
Oh and you cant forget the store kitty's they are so sweet and loving!!!!! -

This is The Pet Boutique for fashionable pets, and their accessories and nutritional needs, Nicole special orders my Royal Canin food as well as anything else I need for my pet menagerie. Go Go Nicole, and thanks for the great store in my neighborhood.

Even though I like to spoil my dog Mes Amis seems a touch pretentious from the outside, however, once inside perceptions change simply by the level of service. Every time I am in here Nicole is so welcoming and offers great assistance with finding exactly what I am looking for. Most of the collars and such are a little too delicate for my ruff and tumble dog, but the food supplements are spot on. Quality and service come at a price, Mes Amis proves it does not have to be out of this world to get it!

I have been to Mes Amis a number of times without any real agenda and am always delighted and usually end up buying something fun or useful. The owner is very nice and knowledgeable about the products she is selling without the high pressure sales pitch you get at other pet stores. The store is fun and classy without being pretentious.

I first walked into this store because I thought it was a clothing boutique. When I realized it was a pet store I couldn't help but try to find something for my friends' pets (since I don't have one of my own). The owner is so friendly and her cats are adorable. The space is warm and inviting. I always enjoy shopping here.

I like this store, and I never thought I would buy anything there, but it has become my go to pet supply store. I buy all of my dog's food and his treats here. The owner has yet to forget my dogs name and always has a treat ready to go before the excitement and tail waging has stopped. Not to mention special ordering the leash and collar I wanted to buy in a special color. I have also found it one of the best places to buy a present if your giving some one something for their pet. From special treats, leashes, collars or high quality pet food, she seems to carry it all at a reasonable price, and her good advice comes for free.

I love having this local neighborhood pet boutique. I was looking for a pet store closer to our home. Their decor is adorable. They have a good selection of treats, accessories and food. The service is very personal and I've decided to make Mes Amis my dog store. Yeah!
