Meridian Physical Therapy is the reason I can move my body without pain after back surgery and I will be forever grateful to them!
I am currently on my 3rd week there. I notice a difference in my pain level as well as my mobility after each session with them.
They are all very knowledgeable and informative, as well as kind and respectful.
I have learned more about my recovery here than anywhere. They continue to give me a realistic outlook of what I can expect, and that is very valuable to me in a medical field where nobody seams to want to tell you reality.
I was a very active person before my back pain hit me extremely hard seven months ago. I want so desperately to get back to the activity level I was at and I hear all the time how you can just be right back at it in two weeks, four weeks, six weeks after surgery. This was not even close to reality for me. I just appreciate the truth and a realistic approach. I finally feel good in my body again and I am getting stronger with each physical therapy appointment. I attribute all of my recovery progress to these guys!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - amy c.WA, WA09Jun 23, 2023
I have been a patient there a few times and oddly enough, the therapist had no recollection of me.
I understand that they have a lot of patients, but I had been there a number of times within a few years and they couldn't remember me.
The first time I went there, Jamie was there and she was great. I didn't know that I would be going there and handed off to new people every time and they would have interns who were there temporarily and each therapist would be working with multiple patients at a time. The individual care is not great. I have a huge problem with one therapist in particular and that's the reason why I'm writing this review. I don't know how she can continue to do what she does and no one else does anything about her behavior. Toni is a very outspoken and unprofessional person who has said things in front of the whole gym that actually made me uncomfortable as a patient.
What ultimately made me upset was how she treated me as an individual by telling me that I wasn't really hurting and that I needed to go to therapy because I needed to get over it.
When I looked up her training and how long she has been working, I couldn't believe that she had the blind confidence to tell someone twice her age and double her education level and experience that I needed mental therapy for my physical health and pain management!
She needs to learn how to manage herself and stick to what she's been trained in at Green River Community College.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lei Lei's W.San Francisco, CA01May 5, 2021
I can't give them a 1 cause not EVERYTHING bad, there are a "few" good things they have going good. 1) The ladies at front desk are friendly, and very helpful and do a spot on job! And they have a heated pool fir therapy. The therapists, however seem to just put me to whatever they want to just to keep me busy, not to explain why they have me doing certain regiments of exercise and what the benefit of each will produce for my peripheral nueropathy and balance. I had a difficult time getting on a bike because of my mobility limitations and. Instead of getting assistance the therapist watched me struggle to get on the bike. Almost faltering till he finally offered a step stool and his arm to stabilize me. He walked away once I was on and said I had 10 minutes, but someone else would be assisting me once I was done, and he had a timer to be sure other therapist was aware of my time. My timer went off and I kept slowly pedaling for another 5 mins. Before another therapist came to take me to lay on a bed and instructed me to do some leg lifts with a band under my feet for 30 seconds 3 times on each leg. He began visiting with me, and I lost count. He was not really paying attention if I was positioning right and he did not bother timing the lifts either. I caught a cramp in my left leg cause I think I did too many reps while he kept talking asking me general friendly questioms that kept throwing me off count. After that was over he had me do some instructed stretches on each leg
He then said another therapist would help me cause he had another client to get. I finished and waited, but needed to use the restroom, so I let a therapist working her computer know who I was and if my new therapist came for me if she could let them know where I was at. I returned and asked if anyone came for me, but she said not that she was aware of. So I proceeded to walt, and wait and wait.
My time was up and I was frustrated letting the gal on the computer know I had to go, and I was very upset how much time I waited for no one to come back to complete my alloted time. I asked the kind and helpful ladies up front who I would issue a complaint with and they got one of the initial therapists who helped me to hear why I was upset. He apologized and understood why I was upset and he forgot to come back to me cause of working with another client. The manager there said she could refund my copay or in a few weeks have a check mailed to me cause they could not credit my copay since I laid using a debit card?? On 2 other times they have canceled appointments that I scheduled a month in advance for lack of enough therapists. Love the pool staff, but also have noticed therapists while nice and kind also visit more than instruct or explain benefits of each exercise regiment. My nuerologist wanted me to use his referral preference, but I opted to use them because of the pool therapy and poiximity to my home, but now reconsiderring the recommendation to get hopeful quality care worth my expense and time.

This place for PT is amazing. I've had to go on my day off from work or leave work early. Thank goodness for FMLA allowing me to take the appointment I need so I can get an appointment that isn't at a wacky time.
My particular need was met being paired up with the clinic Director of the facility Bill Pfister. He is a really good therapist and has particular skills in helping clients who have lymphedema issues. However, he has multiple qualifications, certification and education in multiple fields within the industry. If you have a physical issue causing pain or something that's causing some physical limitations, he may be able to help you. He makes you feel comfortable, especially when you have to remove particular articles of apparel that expose sensitive areas for treatment as I've had to do since that's where the problem was located. He has been arming me with information each visit so when my appointments are complete, I can continue some of what I've learned at home. My issue may be life long, so I had better be paying attention.
Staff is competent from the front desk reception to the other therapists who share in your care and rehab.
The facility is clean and organized. They handle both chiropractic care on one side and PT on the other in this shared building. They also share the rehabilitation equipment, tables and private rooms.
You can check their website for the variety of services offered at this location and a couple of others since they have more than 1 in the region. I think they have several locations.
The list of services they provided doesn't show lymphedema, but you can always call them and ask if they have someone who can help with your particular condition or needs.
Every time I visit, the parking is almost always to capacity. When a place like this is busy, it's usually a good sign.
They are 'in' my insurance network which I'm thankful for.
I don't think you would be disappointed if you came here for your treatment.
Hopefully you won't have a need for PT or Chiropractic care, but the reality today is that many do. Thankfully we have places like this to go.
Good luck to you all!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 4Oh no 0 - Chris E.Tacoma, WA021Jul 16, 2019
The wheels are falling off! Merger or whatever the problem is. To many clients and not enough staff is the bottom line! Stay clear for now...

I was contemplating prior to writing this review. This facility seems like treatments are effective but unfortunately I have never had a chance to experience it. When I called to make an appointment, receptionist requested pip coverage which I did not have. Instead my medical insurance was required so I forwarded all info. I've recieved appointment confirmation call and accepted. When I arrived at the facility with all additional info requested, form I've recieved were incorrect form and they told me that I have to pay almost 6k upfront. At that point, I was already annoyed that I've wasted my time. My attorney requested confirmation of acceptance of lien letter which they've never responded. When I asked about the lien letter, receptionist called the billing. As she was calling, she said they are probably gone for today. After call ended, she quickly said they don't accept lien letter. She wasted additional time for me when she could've just told me everything upfront. Before I left, I wanted to retrieve my personal information but she refused to give back my info sayimg that it's for record keeping for the refusal of service. I've practically wasted my time and travel due to their dishonesty and felt insulted by their sarcastic response.

If you're looking for a wonderful through caring place to get physical therapy whether it be for something simple as a massage therapy or something involved for example after surgery broken bones rehab this place is amazing the staff here or actually loving caring people who really care about making sure you get better. In my case I have lymphedema , finding qualified staff that can care for you it and make it better it's like finding a needle in a haystack but finding qualified caring people is almost impossible to find, here I found all of this and more.
