Me and my partner manage one of MMG properties and love our building and the tenants are great! The MMG staff are great as well....always there to help and listen to you. Very pleased with my position with MMG!

I had a decent time applying, and my complaints are probably specific to my building, but jesus christ these guys are bad. I live in Hampton Court Apartments, at Golden Gate and Larkin and the supervisor is a big piece of sh*t who doesn't do his job correctly. Valdeck, or however you spell his name, is a lazy, lazy man who looks incredibly shady.
I needed my oven fixed ... no problem, I'll just put in a written request and it'll be taken care of, right? It took 3 effing months for them to send someone to my apartment, and this is with a hand-written note and voicemail (no one ever answers the phone) every week. They only came to my apartment after I threatened to go to the SF Renter's Board.
I've been trying to get the front door code changed to my cell phone number for three months as well, and there's no love. Valdeck never picks up the phone, or return calls, but be sure you'll get a notice if your rent isn't on time (which hasn't happened to me). This weekend there was puke in the lobby for three days - disgusting.
This POS also puts a bunch of his buddies in the place so they can play soggy waffle, or something. I hate to constantly insult Valdeck, but the guy just doesn't do his job well, and it reflects poorly on Meridian Management Group.
For those wondering, the next level is a man named Jay Lieberman with Meridian Management Group, and be sure to call him if Valdeck doesn't respond in a reasonable amount of time.
