Merced Police

Had an emergency and called 911, the dumb dispatch basically told me I have to look up Merced police department phone number and call them myself. Wtf, this is an emergency but I have to search for MPD phone number myself?
Hung up bc I'm in a state of panic,did a quick google search and call the first number on google stating MPD number.
As I was on the phone, it direct me to their after hours voice mail "MPD is currently close blah blah blah." Why tf do you have your phone number on there if it's not going to go through!? I'm in a state of emergency & panicking . This is fucken ridiculous! Do better Merced Police Department. Do better to that dumb dispatch too.

I was able to call 911 again and they redirected my call to to the correct number for MPD. But there was no sense of urgency. Do better please

I just got through talking to a police officer about some dogs who are left out in the rain and they cry all night all the time. My whole neighborhood is up in arms about the way these animals are treated. He had the nerve to say it wasn't animal abuse and didn't really want to do anything. The kids poke the animals with sticks and let them stay out all night in the rain. The Merced police department shouldn't have these types of people as officers. They just don't care. They should find another job where they can't abuse their power. This police department sucks!!!!

I was rear ended and suffered serve whiplash. I called and needed an officer come take an accident report- for everyone's insurances involved. They took over 6 hours to respond. After 2 hours I called and she said they would respond very soon but 3 more hours passed. After calling 3 times in 6hrs the responder told my overly polite friend "I can't magically make more officers appear". I mean I had to go to the ER and needed the statement before the driver who hit me left? Worst situation of my life, 90 degrees in the car and they pretty much said they didn't want to come- serve and protect my ass y'all that was mean!

sent request form for a property and its been more than 3 months and no got nothing back yet, someone there is not doing their job !!!!!!!! Need the paper to be sign off but these people that works there dont care
