This is where the groomsmen are buying their suits. Decent service. Respectable selection. They had the capacity to measure 4 men from my party within 1 hour. Pick up date was was decent... not lightning fast but decent.
Best customer service ever! I ended up going to Men's Wearhouse earlier in the month to rent my wedding tux along with all my other groomsmen. Initially we had a concern about the time we had to return the tuxes due to the fact that we were going on a destination wedding. To my rescue came Rosa Mancia with a caring heart and willing to make me happy. This girl went above and beyond to assure us that everything will be taken care of and I did not have to worry about anything. Thanks Rosa!
But thats not all...On the day I came to pick up my tux with my fiancee...I tried the tux on and my girl hated the look on me and in a way turned bridezilla on me. SO I tried to talk to the reps there is having them get me a new suit in a short amount of time. All the reps were not that helpful and really started getting me frustrated. But out of the blue Rosa pops up again and saves the day. She first sets me at ease, lets me know she will expedite a new suit for me and still saves me some money on my suit. I mean seriously it doesn't get better then this girl. Come day of my wedding I looked great in my suit and it was all because of ROSA.
Thank you so much Rosa if you are reading this...you made my wedding.
And for all you Yelpers remember to look for Rosa Mancia if you ever go to Men's Wearhouse...
Every couple of years I buy a new suit. I'm not someone that needs to wear one every day so I really have no idea what is happening in men's fashion. Years ago I tried the $100 suit approach and I ended up looking like a construction worker in a cheap suit.
I always buy my suits at Men's Wearhouse now that I know better. In fact I don't just buy the suit I buy the whole outfit. Shirt tie socks and shoes. The staff is very helpful and I don't even browse the racks for the accessories I just pick out the suit I want (Suzette G. suggested that I try the athletic cut. Thanks hon, That was very nice of you) and let the salesman help me with the rest.
I always have a hard time finding shoes of any type but here they carry large and wide size dress shoes. They were able to set me up with a pair of 12EEEs that matched my new suit perfectly.

Once in a blue moon, I'll have to actually 'clean up' and conform to tradition and wear a suit, tux, etc. And by doing so, it allows me to suitably mix or socially integrate properly without worrying about fashionistas or/and formally attired individuals to unblinkingly, vertically eyeball me. I'm more comfortable wearing casual stuff, dammit. So when social gatherings arise (weddings), I painstakingly avoid these potentially awkward moments by paying a Men's Wearhouse a visit and checking out their swag. The employees are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and well-dressed themselves. The tuxedo rentals are a breeze--efficient, convenient and the staff go out of their way to help you out. And just maybe-one of these days--I'll finally figure out how to properly knot a tie.

All I can say is that they have great service. I was not shopping there but I wanted to have a measurements for my tuxedo one day - I was looking for a place that offers this kind of service in the city and it took a while after going to Macy's and all the other stores in Union Square area - they all did not want to give me because I can sue them if the measurements do not fit, or something like that.
I got to Men's Wearhouse after all, and this lady did everything for me, for free. She was so nice and professional about it so I felt bad, ended up buying a cheap shirt in there.
I am not too sure if they have great suits etc, because I did not go back there after all. But great service, for sure. I was really glad to find a place like that in the city where people tend to be more materialistic and work only for money.

Keep a copy of everything you order. I originally went to them last year to rent tuxes for my wedding, and they had lost my original order. Not only are they unorganized, they SEEM to be nice at first, but as soon as a problem arises, they're very quick to not take the blame. The sales associate even told me, "Well, you don't have to rent from us then." , when I honestly was never rude to them in the first place. What kind of customer service is that?! I was so upset with them, I DID take my business elsewhere. I even had a coupon special from a bridal show, but they were so horrible I was willing to pay extra to go somewhere else. I had written a review a couple months back, but somehow, they were able to remove it w/ yelp. I notice 1 or 2 of the bad reviews that were once on here, aren't anymore. Let's see how long this review will stay up.
you know, this wasn't a bad experience. I hate suits. I hate tuxes. But they took care of me up here. The only thing I found a little odd was that they seemed to not like taking opinions on what I picked out. So they would have just as soon put me into a tux a 90-year-old man would wear to Farallon as they would a more modern, better-looking tux that a younger, taller guy would wear.

Probably the best customer service I've experienced in any Men's Wearhouse. I've been shopping at this store for over 15 years and I have yet to be disappointed.... well.... maybe once when they didn't have a dark blue pin striped suit available in my size, but the sales person did not hesitate to present other options that I found quite fitting. Professional with a personal touch.
We rented our bridal party's tuxes here. I took advantage of the discount from one of the bridal mags plus DH got his free Kenneth Cole tux. Registering was easy and hassle free. The tuxes are very new too (not run down and shabby like After Hours). Minus one star because they screwed up one of the GM's order (they gave us a tie instead of a bow tie). No worries, they managed to get on for us the day before the wedding.
Returns were hassle free.
DH also found a nice jacket there too (price was on par w/ a discounted Macy's jacket).
I have to admit that, in spite of the unbearable tv commercials these guys put out ("I'm George Zimmer, and you're going to like the way you look"), they have a great selection, are very service-oriented and attentive, and have really reasonable prices. They will also do all your alterations for you as part of the deal. However, since discovering Nordstrom Rack - which also has a great suit selection - there's probably no real reason to go back here again, especially if you know a good outside tailor.
