WOW...  there is SOOO MUCH there!!!  =)

the selection is pretty extensive.  the owner really know how to choose what scrapbookers like.  =)   i'm totally into my arts & crafts.  there are not many stores out there that carry everything.

Joann's and Michael's only have bare bones compared to Memories Live On.

they also offer classes to help you out when you are overwhelmed with all the things you can do.  they are knowledgeable if you have any questions or confusion.

GO IN TO...

make a card.
or a scrapbook...
or personalize a photo frame.
whatever you want.

it will be as unique as you are.

They improved so much from when they just started!  There is a big selection of paper etc.  and they also have the latest things in the store now.  Also, very friendly & helpful staff.  I'll be back for sure.

This is more of a 4.5 than a 4.. Wished they had half stars..

If you want me to go somewhere on time, NEVER take me to a scrapbooking store like Memories Live On. Everytime I go, I will spend AT LEAST 2 hours there and even after 2 hours, i have to force myself to leave. They have a variety of paper for all sorts of occasions, way more than Michaels.  My only gripe is the letter sticker selection. They have some selection of letters, but not as many as I would like.

The staff is always really friendly and helpful. A couple times I needed help with  my page. They showed me plenty of options of what I could do. They have a display of sample pages, and sample cards that they have created. It's all so creative!! They are never pushy with sales. The store offers plenty of classes for all sorts of different projects for a low price.

If you sign up for the membership (which is free) everytime you spend $50, you get 5% off. Pretty nifty! (and easily done).

I'm new to scrapbooking and cardmaking. So far, MLO has offered everything I need to get started from cardstock to stickers. They even offer free and low-cost workshops! The staff there is very friendly and helpful. They aren't pushy and offer cool tips and advice.

My only complaint would that I wish they had more paper punchers.

I love, love, love Memories Live On for scrapbooking paper. I can drop $100-200 there in one visit -- and that's A LOT of paper. The receipt is like twice a long as I am tall. They have a nice selection of Jolee's, albums, and tools, too. But I really go there just for the paper. Now if I only time to use it all! The staff is very nice, too, and take requests if they don't have something in stock that you see in a magazine. I have to say the new Cupertino location, aside from being conveniently located near my work, feels like it has more space and inventory. I feel like such a kid in a candy store when I walk in.

I was browsing through the store, when the BF called letting me know that he's off from class so that I can pick him up. Told him, I'm at Memories Live On, a scrapbook store. He paused and said, "well, that means I'll see you in an hour?"
Cute little store in the same shopping area as I Love Yogurt, drive down DeAnza and you might miss it (It's across the street from the Cypress Hotel)
Came in after a few months of taking a break from scrapbooking and I'm definitely glad I came to this store to revitalize my crafty side. Beautiful selections of paper. If you've scrapped book for awhile, you can tell the difference between the nicer and more cheaply paper. They have the really nice stuff. It's also all neatly labeled in its own section.  For example, there's a section for travel, baby, food, and even name brand paper. They also have little DIY items hanging around for you to get some inspiration; saw an interesting door hanger that you can place everyday items in, very cute.
The staff is very nice and they both thoroughly went through the selections of paper to find something for me. Alas, they sold out of the paper I wanted, but it was very nice of them to genuinely look for it and to also give me suggestions for similar papers.
They also have a type of buyers program in which once you spend $50, you get 5% off your future purchases. I know that deduction is less than tax, but it adds up!
In total, I spent about 4 dollars, not bad considering how much I would spend for the same amount of paper at Michael's.

I've been scrapbooking/cardmaking on and off for ten years and have visited many stores, big and small.  I discovered this little gem a few months ago and can't stay away!  I try to go once every other week and continue to discover new things (often not found at Michael's).  The owner and her staff are always very friendly and helpful.  I am also estatic that they have started to accept competitors' coupons on Wednesdays.

It's a nice store with a very friendly staff.  Prices are really good.  I only gave it 3-stars because the selection isn't that great.  They have some really nice stuff, but I was somewhat disappointed in the paper selection.  My daughter loved it because it has a great selection of stickers (rolled and in packages).  I'm not a sticker fan, so that was lost on me.  I'd rather see more embellishments and paper lines like My Minds Eye.

I spend more time and money here than I would like to admit, but I love this store.  They have such a great variety of paper and supplies.  The staff is very helpful and never pushy.  If you're looking for something in specific they'll search the store for you or order it.  They're open until 7 on weekdays (9 on Fridays), so it's easy to swing by after work.

I LOVE this place. I have been going there to spend my hard earned money for years. They have an amazing selection of papers, stamps, cricut cut outs, etc. I can not say enough about this place. The staff is always so nice and ready to help. I enjoy every single visit to this store.

WHOA, WHOA, WHOA.

Let me just tell you...I knew even before I stepped foot into this place that it was going to spell "TROUBLE!" in big capital font. My mind kept telling me "don't go in there. don't go in there. don't go in there." Being the impulsive weakling that I am, I went up in there and found myself filled to the brim with excitement, anxiety, and must I say? Weakness.  As I ventured towards the back, the excitement gradually increased until I felt as if I was going to explode. It didn't matter if there was an explosion outside. I would have ignored it and continued shopping. I love this place. I'm pretty sure there are PLENTY of overpriced and awesome scrapbook stores out there...but this one is not only 1) down the street from my dad's house and 2) in the same neighborhood with all the other fun, artsy stores...not to mention a nail and yogurt place. So, if one day you really feel like overindulging, you can fulfill your shopping void by first starting at the end of the line- scrapbook store- to getting your favorite candle at Diddams (I know...random right?) to getting your nails did and then yogurt! Let me tell you. I think I found my new best friend store.

It has everything ladies and gents...and I'm talking EVERYTHING. A wide variety of pens, themed papers, stickers, glitter, all sorts of crafty art things I have no ideas how to use, all sorts of stuff...and its got that real homey community feel...none of that smack in the middle of a hectic, stressful, busy metropolitan area. No thank you. Yes, it is fantastic!!!

The first thing I told my dad after being there the second day after the first was "OH MY GOODNESS! I LOVE THAT STORE!!!" Being the bubble popper that he was, he said "it's not going to last long. small businesses in this area just don't. i give them a year." That's when there was this long pause, and then in my mind, "OH HECKKKKK NO! I HAVE TO WRITE A YELP REVIEW!" I was never much a yelper to begin with. I never really fully grasped the thought of writing a bad or good review for anything, but believe in the old word-of-mouth type technique. I've always fancied reading others reviews...just not writing them myself.

Now here I am...in fear of my dad's comment and this place closing down in a year...It's not going to happen! If I can stop it from happening, I will!

Btw, the owner is super fantastic...friendly, awesome, community oriented, and amazing. I don't expect anything less from a scrapbook store owner. She also offered to sell my homemade greeting cards in the store. Now that's community right there. ;)

Even though I have only shopped in the store only 2 times, I can already tell that it is going to be my new favorite hobby shop. I recently became obsessed with completing my wedding scrapbook (one of several that I have yet to start and complete), because I wanted to clean out my closet, which meant getting rid of the many boxes of crap I've stored for scrapbooking. Now having almost completed my wedding scrapbook, I am at a loss of ideas and embellishments to razzle and dazzle my pages. Upon stepping into the store, not only did I find TONS of stickers and embellishments of every and any brand, theme, and shape - I was also personally helped by the owner, Vivian, herself, both times. For anything I asked for (from wedding cakes to running shoes), she would scan the entire store and show me what she had. She is definitely one of the friendliest and most helpful store owners I know, as other scrapbooking stores I've been to never gave me as much help as she has.

They also have a point program that allows you to get continuous discounts if you spend up to a certain amount. For example, if you spend, like $500? (I don't really remember the amount), you get 5% off your purchases thereafter; and the discounts keep increasing as you spend more. I'm thinking that since I have several scrapbooks lined up to complete for the future, I will probably be taking advantage of that discount pretty soon...

I will definitely be returning frequently!

This store is awesome since the new owners bought it, moved it, and revived it. The old store was cramped, and the old owner was snooty and uptight. The new owners and their staff are friendly, they always have new and high quality products, and their prices are competitive.  Anybody who loves papercrafting of any kind will like this store.

The service really seems to have gone up since they moved their location to De Anza Blvd.  One thing that used to annoy me about this place is that for the most part, scrapbookers are moms trying to preserve the memories of our little ones as they grow up...  Everytime I came to the store with my little guy the owner was a snob or nasty.  If I came by myself, she was happy to take my money.  I haven't seen her since the move, but the younger girls working the counter are really friendly and helpful.  They NEED to bring back their coupon program for frequent buyers.

I've visited Memories Live On a few times, stopping in from time to time.  Their paper selection isn't the largest around, and has been gradually dwindling in interest for me.  They will occasionally have nice designs, and they do have a variety of cardstock.  They also sell rubber stamps, and have a decent offering of those. Lots of stickers, though nothing really interesting to me.  They have some great frequent purchaser programs, including monthly coupons, and the staff is pretty friendly and very willing to help you. I believe they also offer classes, though I haven't taken any.

I have to give this store 5 stars even though I know next to nothing about scrapbooking.  I went in there with a vague idea of a gift for someone and the two ladies who helped me (sorry did not catch their names) took me under their wing and helped me find what I was looking for.  I must say that the person whom I gave the gift to was taken aback by the gift and said it was probably be the most thoughtful gift she will get for her wedding.  I highly suggest this place to any newbie that is looking to get into scrapbooking.  Thank you thank you thank you for all your help.
