This is a fantastic park.  In fact, this past year they expanded the park and created a new area called Murase Plaza at the corner of Wilsonville Road and Memorial Drive.  It connects the library and town center to the rest of Memorial Park down the hill.

This plaza has one of the best water parks I've seen for kids.  It flows like a stream down a sloping hill and also has a separate area with spray fountains.  One word of caution is that the water park is right at the corner of a relatively busy intersection and there isn't a fence to contain the little ones.  I launched an electronic petition to correct this earlier this year, but the city wants to keep an "open look and feel."

Murase Plaza also has an amphitheater, covered picnic area, play areas (including climbing walls and a little volcano like structure you try to scramble up on hands and feet) and historic barn.  The Stein - Boozier Barn (great name!) is available for rent as well as the a couple other covered shelters.  Between this park and Town Center Park, Wilsonville has become a fantastic destination for those hot summer nights.

Also, if you are in the main park down the hill, it runs along the Willamette River.  There are some lovely shaded trails, a dock to do some fishing or just skip rocks.  There is even a skate park, play structure, dog park and tons of sports fields.

Memorial park is the oldest park in Wilsonville (1969) although that's not saying too much as Wilsonville is a fairly new city.

I used to run in this park all the time.  It has a great paved road/track that I estimate to be around a 3/4 mile loop around.   There are also great wooded trails that border the Willamette River making this more than just a park with a field of grass.  It feels more like half park, half wooded setting.

Other great features include soccer fields, baseball diamonds, fenced in dog park, picnic tables, pavilions, skate park, and tennis courts.  People from the community are out here all the time playing soccer or baseball.

This is what a local park should be like!

The kids love Murase Plaza.  As Jen K mentions the Plaza has a one of a kind water feature the kids love.  It is like a shallow river flowing down a series of steps and then into a flume which runs down the hill.  Off to the side are a series of computer controlled fountain jets which shoot water into the air.  The kids just love this place.  They love to run through the jets and toss a flip flop into the flume and watch it race down the hill.

Highly recommended.

The water feature is amazing, and a great way for everyone to cool off!  My kids love the dancing water feature, and I love that is a short walk from everything.
