This place has to be one of the most interesting experiences that I have ever had in my life. It was my first dinner theater experience and definitely a memorable one!

I visited Medieval Times with my school choral and band group. I was in a very, very large group (over 300 people) but the experience was surprisingly smooth and well organized. When we got there, we were greeted by costumed workers handing out colored crowns.

Afterward, we were led to a waiting area that included a gift shops, a bar, and a small medieval "museum" (entitled "The Dungeon"). Unfortunately, we got there a little too early, so we had to wait for an incredibly long time (I would say about 45 minutes). And, as I said earlier, we were in a large group so the room was very cramped ( I seriously thought I would pass out from lack of air). It was sad because that sort of put a damper on the whole experience.

Anyway, after an incredibly long wait, we were sent into a large, colorful room. When we had got there, we were each given a different color ticket and hat, and we were seated according to that color. We then had a server come take our drink orders and ask if anyone were a vegetarian (there was a set meal that included meat, so you would be given and alternative meal). Then the show began. This was the point where we realized that our color was used to determine which knight in the show we would cheer for (I won't go into the details of the show- basically it was good- but you should watch it yourself!). Then, throughout the show, different parts of our meal was bought to us (bread, meal, dessert) as we watched the show. I would say that the food was mediocre. Nothing to tell your friends about. It included garlic bread, chicken (a very generous portion), a small piece of rib, and apple turnover (I think). Pretty boring, if I may say so myself.

Overall, it was a positive experience. Our waitress seemed a bit rude, but it may have been because she was dealing with such a large group. The show was fun and enjoyable and I would recommend it to anyone. There is actually a surprise ending :)!

So much fun for the kids. My 3 year old loved it. The food was good, just be prepared to eat with your hands.

Food at Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede is better.
