      I've been seeing Alex Pardoe for my hair extensions and color for a few years now and i couldn't be happier with his services. I have been struggling with breakage from bad extensions in my early 20s so I was insanely hesitant to go blonde and get extensions! He made the experience so comfortable and really put care into my hair and eased my anxieties. He has such an amazing personality so time flies in the chair! I'm always blown away by the quality of the hair and how well blended my extensions are, so seamless! i highly recommend Alex and I feel like his prices are very reasonable especially for the quality of the hair and how long they last!

      Great salon. Fast pace environment with lots of people working

      Efficient and thorough

      The hair stylist and colorists are all independent and rent a space from Meche. I received a cut from several of the stylists and was happy with all of them.

      Book ahead, appts fill up quick.

      I stumbled across this place on a jog months ago, and I inquired about pricing and my interest of what I was looking for. I did my research on yelp on who I wanted my colorist to be. I did not know that I would have someone else for cut and styling which was fine.
      After some research, I found the colorist who I wanted to do my hair. I won't mention her name, but it was highly recommended on yelp. I waited months to book this appointment for a special event a.k.a. my birthday I had to reschedule a couple times because of my work schedule and also because the colorist didn't work weekends, I had to accommodate her schedule. I finally booked my appointment.
      Yesterday I went and was greeted by the assistant. I was seated and just a quick introduction to the colorist. That was the beginning and end. Her assistant did everything from beginning to end and I thought oh perhaps maybe I'll see her later during my stay here at my meche. I was being washed, and was told to go back to my seat when she (colorist) was sitting there, so there was nowhere else for me to sit, and I was never acknowledged. Honestly I was very disappointed because I waited a very long time to book this appointment particularly with her and I have very high standards for her but she never once touched my hair. Bummer.
      It wasn't until I met Guy who completely shifted my mood and boy let me tell you he is amazing had it not been for him. I don't think I would ever come back. He made my experience, wonderful & exceptional. He made me feel good. He was very attentive. He and his assistant we're both great I am extremely happy With Guy.
      Oh, I know every salon is different and this is completely new for me as far as colorist, stylist, people who cut your hair, assistants...there's just too many hands involved for me. I just like to work with one person from beginning to end but again, this is new for me, so there was a bit of adjustment . All in all I gotta thank one person and that's my Guy

      Love this place I got a hair Botox treatment by Vanessa. My hair is so smooth and silky I keep saying is this really my hair !!!! I love it! makes my hair manageable for the summer. This treatment makes my hair tangle free so easy to comb out and I can air dry and it's still amazing. My hair texture before this is super curly and course . In love with the results. If you interested in smoothing out then go see Vanessa!

      10/10 highly recommend Meche - after going to Alex Pardoe for color and extensions, I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair! He genuinely cares about hair health & works with you to make sure you get the perfect results Thank you so much Alex! You're the best!

      BUYER BEWARE! This is a RIP Off Business!
      Scheduled a " Complimentary " consultation with JACOB SCHWARTZ ( apparently was TRACEY CUNNINGHAMs Assistant. TRACY is not taking new clients so they recommend JACOB!

      I went in for a 10 minute consultation ( apparently he does color for MARGOT ROBBIE and other celebrities! He looked at my hair and then i was turned over to the salons front desk. They told me that i would need to leave a $1,000 deposit and my services ( color base highlights and some extensions would be $3,000 not including a cut or blow dry!

      I left a $1,000 deposit ( never informed that it was not refundable)!

      Two weeks before the appointment i changed my mind and called the salon to cancel. Apparently Jacob is an independent contractor and i was told i could not have my money refunded!

      REALLY! What did they do? No services! 10 minute consultation and i was told he was counting on the money! Is this a joke??!!!

      After a couple heated conversations with the front desk manager and her assistant and threatening to get my lawyer on the case they reluctantly refunded my money!

      If you are looking for a professional salon with integrity look elsewhere! These celebrities dont even pay for their services and the salon in exchange uses them to draw regular patrons in the salon and totally take advantage of them!

      Go elsewhere unless you just want to throw your money away!

      Amazing how many people they have taken advantage of already!

      Rich the colorist is fantastic and I get the most compliments about my hair color months out, but the front desk specifically Alexia is rude, lacks initiative (talks to other staff members instead of making sure customers are taken care of), and blames hair stylists for any booking issues. The blow dry is extremely expensive and poor booking is an inefficient use of time. When I approached Alexia to give her feedback, she lacked professionalism and rolled her eyes. Absolutely unacceptable for the experience I was hoping for.

      I was looking into hair extensions, and I've had my reservations about them for a while because I've heard horror stories. I found Alex at Meche on instagram over a year ago, and I've been getting extensions with him since! His work is absolutely stunning, and each set is better than the last because my hair has grown so much while the extensions have been in! The hair he uses is amazing quality, I even get compliments from strangers on my hair! The salon has a great positive vibe, I can tell all the stylists get along with each other and the other stylists are really friendly with me while I'm in. Highly recommend Alex and Meche!

      Until this recent experience I am about to relate, I would have given Meche a 4 or 5 star review. A big plus at this place is that, despite being a super busy salon, they have always found solutions when things have gone wacky with the schedule...and this is both on the side of clients and on the side of hair cutters and stylists. We all get behind for whatever reasons, and I have indeed been known to be tardy (average no more than 10 minutes). Conversely, I have also sat between 20 and 55 minutes waiting for a colorist or stylist who has fallen behind, and I have also twice been completely forgotten while sitting in waiting , directly across from the reception desk. Once, after an hour and 15 minutes I politely asked what the hold up was and the apologized and said that I "slipped thru the cracks" .
      On this current occasion, I was 16 minutes late and, as per usual, I had been frantically calling the salon to let them know, but of course I only got a voicemail which never picks up until you've already arrived.
      Upon walking in, I was given sheepish looks by the usually friendly front desk staff, and told that "we tried to call you " ( upon checking, there were zero missed calls from Meche) Then I was informed that my colorist "only has 15 minutes left to see me" and , as that would not be enough time to color my roots( that's the only color service I get ), they would need to cancel
      me and they would need to charge me $75 for said cancellation.
      I'm not going to say I was angry, but I was a bit shocked in that I was there, and this was a colorist who had once left me waiting 35 minutes. As far as a legitimate "last minute cancellation ", there has never been a question of a charge for that, and I have had to do so 1 or two times in the past 3 or 4 years I have been a client. Each time I've always been genuinely quite gracious and understanding about a charge . I average two visits here per week for a shampoo and blow dry and I love the staff and respect cancellation fees as I have the same policy in my business. I attempted to reason with them by pointing out that it should then be equitable for a "tardy charge" as I'm now calling it. if I'm sitting waiting long stretches at a time when I "only have so much time" before my next client, should there be a rate adjustment for my loss of that hour? . (I am a professional, as well, who sees private clients. I have a policy of everything being equitable, because my clients come first, I am grateful for them and their devotion, and ....I look at the "big picture " . And if I make them
      late I make sure to accommodate their rate.)
      On this day I agreed to get the shampoo and blow dry (which was scheduled for the "after the color" time as my hair was desperately in need of at least that ) and to come back in a few days for the color and another blow dry . When I got into my stylists chair after the shampoo and he saw that my silver root growth was in out of control (in the summer months , hair grows twice as fast!) he kindly asked if I wanted another colorist to do it before he styled it ! I answered that it wasn't offered to me and I assumed that indicated that there was no one else available. He quickly went and arranged it, however, and though it was a rush for him to squeeze me in a bit later than scheduled, it was accomplished simply and smoothly because someone took the initiative and thought out of that sad, unfortunate, stuffy box.! I was so grateful and I did not even mind that my bangs didn't come out too nice! Rushing is difficult as I well know. Haha! The color came out beautiful too btw.
      Management, please take a moment to read this and know that it really matters that you instruct (or remind?) staff that "policy" has to go both ways. Also, being "penny wise and pound foolish" is rarely a winning prospect. Offending good and steady and nice clients isn't great practice and not worth the peanuts you saved in doing so. I was also quite surprised to learn, on this occasion, that someone was actually available to do my color, yet the desk crew was so thrown off and clearly embarrassed about having to charge me that fee they never thought to check or offer. It was clearly awkward for them to have their hands were tied like this. Again, likely this is the reason they neglected to attempt to accommodate me with another colorist. As I stood at the desk and heard that " cha ching" sound coming from my phone's gmail informing me of the $75 charge that had just gone through, I assumed it was a dead end. I certainly would have felt more comfortable if one of them at least tried to help out by attempting to ask an alternate person to throw some color on some roots. This is all I ever need insofar as color. It actually does take a colorist 15 minutes come to think of it!
