Neighborhood: BallardI have never been here but I know this as the place my wife takes away our old clothes and super anonying toys to sell. If only she didn't come back with even more stuff. The stuff she does bring back is clean, works and is complete. Likewise they won't take the crap I try to get my wife to get rid of so I guess they have some kind of standards or somthing.

Nice consignment shop, but I think it is pretty expensive for used clothing! I would rather go to target and buy something new and cute, than buy something used.
The stuff here isn't cheap, but it's all good-quality for a good price. I highly recommend this store if you're looking for a high quality consignment shop for your kids' gently used items.
It's a large, clean store run by friendly people (they took care of me one morning when I got dizzy, giving me some crackers and water). There's a very wide selection of clothes, toys and furniture, and if they don't have what you need, check back in a few weeks. The stuff moves fast.

Another great find due to wonderful Yelp reviews. After reading all these raving reviews, I had to check out this place. I was a little skeptical because most thrift stores tend to be landfill piles. Not the case here.
First off, it's nice that you can use the parking lot near the rock wall rather than fight for a street space. I'm sure it's harder to park when the Locks are crowded.
The store is fairly large and holds a variety of used items and even a few new finds. Almost anything you could want for a newborn to a toddler resides here. Lots of choices in furniture, cribs, gates, car seats, bouncers, strollers, etc. Also lots of toys, a few books, and loads of clothing. Really the best thing here is the clothing. Lots of choices and all the clothing was in good repair. They even carry a few odd items, like used maternity clothing and even breast pumps.
The staff was very friendly and nice. The prices were also very reasonable. A lot of the items disappear fast, so if you see something you like, you might want to get it asap.

I loved this place! While they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, I browsed the shelves and found some really great stuff. Baby Tad by Leapfrog, brand new in box for $12.75. They also had a great selection of new and used sleep sacks, which isn't something you see everyday. Everything was clean and tidy, not like some stores that feel like a forgotten Goodwill. Very helpful & friendly staff, if only 1 person (poor girl was running around like a chicken with her head cut off).

Me 'n Moms is a large, clean, bright, and cheery consignment shop that seems to be a little more selective than some of the other places. It does not have a 'thrift store' feel, and in my experience, the clothes and toys are overall in better condition than your typical thrift store. Perhaps because of this I've also found them more expensive. They have have clothes and shoes for infant to elementary age kids and a fairly good toy section.

Huge selection of gently used children's clothing, shoes and toys. Also new See Kai Run and Robeez shoes.
Great staff! Excellent consignment policy. Train table is always a hit!

If only Me 'n Moms were closer to my house! For a second-hand store, it is very nice and clean. It feels more like a regular retail store than a grubby thrift store, and has a big selection of clothes. I've been able to find a ton of nice infant outfits in bright, interesting colors here (rather than demure baby pastels).

I haven't found a better place for used maternity clothes in Seattle than Me 'n Moms, and their selection of used children's clothes is also good, although a little overpriced. I've found some great used toys and games here, too.

Some days, I just need a break and with a toddler, there aren't many places to go where toddlers are welcome. But there's always Me 'n Moms. They have a train table that occupies my son for about 30 minutes, while I browse the fairly good selection of kid clothes, books, and all manner of accessories, from potty seats to strollers. First I stop off at the Karma coffee place a couple of doors down, and then we go into Me 'n Moms. The staff people all know me and my son (who made his first appearance there at 4 days old) and they come over to chat with him. And to top it off, I hardly ever pay for anything because I regularly bring in stuff to consign! It's a relaxing experience. I've been to many other consignment stores, but Me 'n Moms is cleaner, better organized, and has more space than the rest. Everything isn't crammed into a tiny space with narrow aisles you can't get a stroller through. They opened a new store in Issaquah recently and the owner said she's amazed at the stuff they get there because it's such a high-income area. I plan to make a trip over there to take a look. If you have credit, it works at both stores.
