This a great little BBQ place in historic Port Royal. I might have been put off by the cute pig dolls everywhere, but the decor was balanced out by a thick stream of blues on the speaks. I ordered a BBQ beef sandwich with shrimp chowder, a side of slaw, jalapeno cornbread and Yankee tea. Each dish was perfectly prepared. Can't wait to go again.

Yess!! Good ole southern barbecue! I love the atmosphere here, its very casual and the pig kitsch decor is hilarious. Gotta love a place that serves sweet tea out of mason jars and has mismatching silverware and plates.

VERY affordable, you can have a meal for two for less than $25 easily. The jalapeno cornbread is great. Word on the street is that they deliver to the Sandbar, which is a local sandbar where people dock their watercraft and hang out to booze it up. Good to know.

As for the barbecue, everything is great; the beef, the chicken, and the pork are all excellent and flavorful. They have a smoke pit out back and you can smell it before you pull up to the restaurant.

You also get your food super fast, we have never had to wait more than 15 minutes to get our entree.  This is definitely on our list of favorite restaurants in Beaufort.

Come hungry and leave happy. You can smell the BBQ cooking a mile away! With more than you can eat servings and banana pudding that will make your tongue slap you brains out, this is by far my favorite spot to hit on the way to and from the Sands or anytime I am near by. Don't forget the sweet tea y'all.  :)
