Cons:
I left feeling very uncertain. My pet was really frasseld when we left. When they gave her a shot they shook her head to distract her- this made me really uncomfortable. I've never had a cat so this could be totally normal- I have no clue.
After the visit I randomly googled the clinic and landed on citysearch and saw that after a client left a bad review the office wrote a reply totally bashing the client and using her full name. The client's review did basically blame the office for making their dog sick- which I'm sure is very very debatable, but I feel that they should have called her to address it personally. I do understand that the office wanted to give their side of the story but they did it in a very tacky way.
I went back to the site a few days later and saw they had done the same thing to another person... the funny part about this was that the main complaint was that the vet tech reaked of cigarette smoke. The office reply said that was impossible because no one in their office smoked. I am really sensitive to smoke and that was the first thing I noticed when I walked into the office as well. So- if I was on the fence about the vet's tactics for response- that dishonesty pushed me over the edge.
If not for the replys by the office I would probably have been back.... I choose not to support an office with that sort of dynamic.
I really like Dr. Z and the staff. They are very friendly, and I have found their prices to be pretty comparable. It is a pretty standard vet office. I just forgot the other vet's name, but she is cool too. I have never gotten out of there for less than $70, which can get old (and did the entire first four months that I had adopted my dog when we saw them four or five times for various problems). They charge a $40-45 exam charge, but I think that is pretty much the standard these days. They are extremely thorough and they offer prescriptions pretty cheap.
