Well, first off, it's a McDonalds. This is not haute cuisine and if you go there expecting that you will be disappointed. It does have all the classic Hawaiian McDonald amenities though that you can't get on the mainland like Saimin, Portugee Sausage, Spam and Rice breakfast platter, and different types of pies. I never got to try the haupia pie and the pineapple pies are kinda gross but the taro pies are awesome! I wish there was some way for me to recreate the taro pies at home and I'm not even a big taro fan.

This is the McDonald's you'll see on your right if you're driving straight towards the ocean on Ke'eaumoku St., while trying to go to Walmart or Ala Moana shopping center. The drive-thru is open 24 hours at this location.
I ordered:
1) crispy chicken snack wrap - was not crispy or very yummy, but did the job and was a deal for about $1.50. 2) small coke - perfectly fine, 3) large french fries - nice and hot, but I like them with more salt, and 4) BBQ sauce ($.10). It all came out to under $5.
I was thinking that the drive-thru was really organized and quick, but then I did my standard check of my items before driving off, and found they had given me sweet/sour sauce instead of BBQ. So then I had to pull over, get out of the car, go inside to trade in my sauce. I had to wait for about 3 minutes in line. I didn't have any trouble trading sauces. I was annoyed anyway.
BTW - I asked, and they don't have haupia pie at this location. Go to the Kamehameha Shopping Center McDonald's to try it.
