OK, I'm reviewing a chain but this is my Summer Road Trip I'm taking and I'm reviewing every stop.
I said hell with it I'm getting a Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese meal. I rarely eat McDonald's. I love it though. My mom had me at 15 years old and being raised by a teenager you are kind of raised on junk food.
I was the only person in the drive through. They accept Debit Cards at the window so that's a plus.
My food took a bit longer than normal I thought. It was good though because I got out of my car and rearranged some stuff in the back seat and threw some stuff out. I used the time wisely.
So, I understood why my food took so long because it was freaking hot as hell.
The fries almost burned my mouth and my burger was so fresh I wanted to open mouth kiss it.
Some of the best McY D's I've had in a long time. Well worth my decision to get some. Well worth the fat ass I'm going to get from eating it also.
I don't even want to give this place 1 star.. I'd rather take away 12 stars.
This place seemed nice and clean however it's friggin nasty asss shizz. I had chicken nuggets and found a god damn pincher bug in my food. It's flippin disgusting. I couldn't even complain because I was already on the road. However even if i did complain the service sucked so badly, and they were so rude that they would probably spit in my food and probably put another bug in there anyways. The people working here definitely hate working there...
This is probably the last time I'm going to visit another mcdonalds on the road...

Have you ever noticed that big chains test their pilot programs in random locations such as Buttonwillow? Perhaps I'm wrong. But whenever we're driving through random dust bowl towns, we stop and notice differences. I am a McDonald's fan. I know that menu like nobody's business.
They had an Angus Mushroom 1/3 pound burger on the menu. I was all over that like a crack whore. Seriously. I tried looking it up on the website and it's not even listed.
I ordered whatever number it was... with a diet coke. Because, you know that there are people out there that believe that you cancel out the calories by drinking diet soda. Those people are idiots. I don't care who you are. They are FUCKING idiots.
When the manager called out my order number, she abruptly handed my bag to me. I noticed that there was a sticker holding the receipt to the bag.... it said, 'DOUBLE CHECKED FOR ACCURACY'. I looked at it, and asked for my soda cup. She told me that my meal didn't come with it. I showed her the special receipt with the bright 'DOUBLE CHECKED FOR ACCURACY' sticker. And I think she wanted to throw the cup at me.
Obviously, I embarrassed her with the line that was growing behind me. I really don't go out looking for fist fights. Really, I don't
But I believe that she was double checking me for bitchiness.
Oh and their WiFi sucks donkey shit.
When I was in high school, I was a choir girl. On our way back from a festival in Anaheim, our buses broke down in none other than Buttonwillow. It was pretty miserable seeing as it was hot and dusty outside, and our options for where to go were very limited. McDonald's made this part of our trip bearable; they have working toilets, air conditioning inside and French fries and ice cream cones.
I remember we got t-shirts that said something like "Buttonwillow Breakdown" afterward... I should dig through my junk at my parents' house to see if I still have it.
