always great service and friendly workers. honestly the best McDonald's I've ever been to

If it's night then expect to wait a long time before getting your food. They seem to keep forgetting my kids meal apple slices and drinks sometimes. During breakfast they seem to be in such a hurry that they undercook hash browns.... Almost always something wrong with the order. They don't use the deals on the mobile app sometimes. My gut has seen a lot of McDonald's in my life and this is by far, the worst one.

Everytime we go out there it's to get a quick cheap meal but when we go to order they have an attitude. When we finally get our food the fries are cold and taste like they just heated them up. We always order the same thing which isn't to hard to get right, like a large fry with a hamburger, we'd only get the hamburger and it would be completely wrong. Another time I went alone and one of the workers gave me a hamburger that was completely pink in the middle

Yo. What in the world is going on with this McDonald's. Every. Single. Time. I visit something is off. During these times it's so important to be able to provide cheap, hot, consistent meals to people that are on unemployment/out of work due to COVID. There is no continuity at this location. I asked for extra lemon and was told "I guess."
There hasn't been a time yet where the food wasn't cold. You'd think there was a line around the restaurant but it's never busy unless it's lunchtime or maybe 5 pm right after work.
When you're not working with much, getting to indulge in something delicious can make your day. $8 gone- can only eat four chicken nuggets because the rest are B R I C K and hard as a rock.
Usually, if not always disappointing. No one should have to "pull up to the flag" for fresh food and wait for ten minutes. Why don't other McDonald's have this issue?

If I could give a zero I would...the drive thru was busy..so went in and stood there... and stood....I asked two other people do you order here...yes they both replied.... stood... raised my hand ... finally I had to raise my voice to a employee "hey do I order here"... finally I got my order.... I've been to McDonald's in other countries and they are better than this one... really rude.. everyone should be fired and replaced.....

Worst McDonald's ever! They always forget something in your order and take forever to get your through the drive thru.

Great service in Altavista. I always feel welcome and treated very well. The managers and assistant managers go the extra mile.

Needed a quick lunch on my trip toward Lynchburg. Counter person was SMILING and pleasant, and that can sometimes be a rare occurrence at the Golden Arches.

Ordered the double quarter pounder without onions. Prepared quickly. Free wifi and hdtv set to the news channel made the experience more pleasant.

The service at the McDonalds on Main Street in Altavista is horrible. Rarely have they gotten my order right, the food is cold, or the cashier has been rude. This used to be the place to go now it's become the place to avoid.

The drive thru is so slow I think I aged 10 years. Did they think they weren't going to sell anything today, then all three of our fries were only half full. What a rip off!!!! This place sucks.
