I miss this place!
I used to stop by for lunch whenever I could. I heard they have a new menu out now (I haven't been there in a couple years) so I probably can't say anything useful but:
-I LOVE THEIR HOT WINGS! They're probably the best wings I've ever had...
-Their food is just plain good. Usually I review places relative to the area but this is one of the few places that would even survive in philly.
-Gotta go there in the summers for their bar out back. It's so chill complete with tiki torches, tables and chairs, speakers, bar and a swing on the tree!! (Although I don't know if the swing could actually support anyone).
-The prices are a little high for the area (probably by 5 bucks) but it's worth it, that 5 bucks gives you quality and fresher ingredients.
-Seems like the younger crowd hangs out here.
-You can smoke in the back room/bar (gross)
- It doubles as a hotel.
-The owner's daughter and bf (or are they the owners?) are both cuties!

Overall very good-a bit expensive for the area. Nice atmosphere, good variety of live music, and as previously mentioned a good outdoor dining area when the weather permits. It is wise to book a reservation on a Friday or Saturday during prime hours.
Service can be slow when crowded but the people serving are well intended.
Great atmosphere. The foods is good but not quite what we expected.
There isn't a real great variety on the menu but what theydo offer is done well. Good sized portions. Good place for professionals and beer drinkers alike. The beer selection is excellent.
The live music is really what separates this place. Good atmosphere and very good live entertainment coupled with a wide variety of beers make this a good place to go for dinner with your GF/BF or a good place to hang out with your buddies.
The only issue that I've had at all is that this place can get real crowded and that really slows down drink service.

Just an FYI: this is listed as "McLeary's" on here but it's actually McCleary's. Just a little nitpicky spelling error I noticed while searching for it on the site.
I like this bar a lot, I go here frequently when I visit friends in Marietta. Super friendly staff who are always helpful and knowledgeable about beer. Love the decor and atmosphere, cool old paintings and wood tables in the front room, copper top tables in the back. A nice beer selection that's usually reasonably priced (although $6 for hoegaarden draft seemed a little steep to me) but they always have a great premium bottle selection; Duvel, Chimay, Lambic, Sam Smith, Magic Hat, Young's, etc. Selections change frequently, so it's always fun to go in a try two or three new beers from their list.
Their food is always on point. I know a lot of people who love their wings, but I don't personally like them. They're breaded and then coated with sauce which just makes them too heavy for me. Other than that, I've tried their sandwiches; prime rib sandwich and a reuben, both of which were good. The house soup (tomato bisque) is super tasty. THE FISH AND CHIPS IS AMAZING. GET THE FISH AND CHIPS, but be ready to share because it's huge. Their burgers are also realllllly good.
If you're going on a weekend I highly recommend you make reservations. It's almost impossible to get seated without them (unless you're in on a rare night where it's not really busyl, which has happened to us once or twice) and the bar is usually packed, so plan ahead. A super warm atmosphere and overall a wonderful bar. Outdoor seating is almost as big as the inside, so it's fun to sit out there in the summer. Cheers!

Place had a nice atmosphere. We were at the X-mas hometour and my bf had suggested heading down there after. We actually met the owner on the street who was handing out menus. The owner was very friendly. He said on Sunday evenings, they get more of a football crowd than a restaurant crowd. I think that may have explained why the service was not quite so attentive. The food was overall good, except the bangers on my mash were not hot. Everyone else liked their meals despite the wait, so I'm giving it 4 stars. Would definitely try it again. They had some interesting Sunday drink specials. Coffee drinks $5 so that was definitely a plus.

This place wasn't all that bad. I have begun to develop a beef with public houses that don't serve hand pumped ales ever since I got back from the British isles. But this place does serve some of their darker beers on nitrous, which did seem to make the beer nice and smooth.
The atmosphere was gorgeous and they have smoking/non-smoking. The band that was playing was a good acoustic guy, but they also have acts like the Gin Blossoms booked. The crowd was very mixed and interesting with a lot of townies, tourists and students.
The food was pretty good. We got a burger, fish and chips, and a Reuben. They were all good and this is a place that I'll probably return to if I'm ever back in the area.
I liked this place. Cozy atmosphere with lots of nice, dark wood paneling, and brass or copper tops on some of the tables. In a nice, fairly secluded but not too remote location in Marietta along the tracks. Decent selection of decent beers on tap, and a huge bottle selection. Service was a little slow but that's to be expected because it has been crowded when I've been there. They have live music on Sat. nights and it's usually not bad, and if that's not your cup of tea the room in the front area is usually a bit quieter. The back allows smoking as of writing this, but it was not at all a smoky atmosphere and I didn't even notice anyone smoking, so that's another plus. A pretty good diversity of types of people who come here; a lot of different people could be comfortable here.
A good spot for some beers, and some food. Family owned business. that works very, very hard to make sure things are good. Now, this place is a bar, actually 2 bars - front half of business is non-smoking, bar and a bunch of oak tables for dining. good for dinner. fish and chips received excellent review from my British friend Duncan, who is never without comments, either good or bad. Back bar is a good bar area, non-smoking, plus a live music stage, albiet small, but very interesting. the owner knows a lot about live music, and he gets good entertainment, on a variety of nights. good sound system for a small place. With the right band, the place gets nicely packed with a good music vibe. it is casual. grab an Irish brew or Irish whiskey, or both, and have a good time. oh, as of 5/01/2008, they have a new, big outdoor deck, with another bar out there, with roll-away rain guards, that is a fun place to go.
