Nothing fancy but if you're looking for soups and sandwiches this is definitely the place to go. I got the Smoky Pepper Jack Turkey panini which was good and my fiance got the Harvati Sweet Chipotle Chicken panini which was absolutely amazing.
We also got Broccoli Cheddar soup which was pretty decent. I would definitely go back. I wasn't impressed with the sweet tea, wasn't sweet enough, although i could be biased as I do have a sweet tooth -

Now I seem to like this McAlister's location better than the one in Gulfport. Sharing a huge parking lot with Office Depot, you never have to worry about parking. It ha a great location on the hiding on the West Corner of Pops Ferry Rd.
Much like my post of the Gulfport location, McAlister's is a MS chain of deli restaurants known for their Giant Baked Potatoes and Sweet Tea. I enjoy the the Memphian (**** stars) I usually get the potato salad (** stars) even though its kind of bland. Their Tortilla Soup (*** stars) is good but not like what I am used to back in CA.
Their sweet tea or lemonade is some of the best on the Coast, but I tend to get greedy and order half unsweet, half lemonade (AKA Arnold Palmer) They also have an outdoor patio which is great this time of year!!! -

Always friendly faces and good sandwiches, but the best thing on the menu is the tea. Overall a safe lunch or light dinner choice while you are out and about

Amazing Sandwich and Soups. More on the pricey side of "gourmet" dining, but very worth it from time to time. I highly recommend giving it a shot. They have never let me down.
Oh, and you HAVE to try the iced tea, kinda a specialty, it is delicious. -

I really like this deli-type restaurant chain. It is one of those places where you order at the register and then they bring it out to you when your meal is ready. Like the other yelpers pointed out, parking is never a problem, which is a plus. And they make some pretty darn good soups and sandwiches.
The one thing I had there that I wasn't super impressed with was the chili in a bread bowl...but it wasn't even that bad. If I am craving chili, I might order it again. -

God, I hate this place. I'm not sure if it's me or the one in OS tastes better. They messed up my order twice, and it still tastes like urine. The baked potato was alright, but who can get that wrong?

The potatoes, sandwiches, tea, and desert are ALWAYS good! Try the "Big Nasty"!

My usual aversion to chains aside, I really like this place. In all fairness I didn't realize they had locations beyond the gulf coast until recently. Some items on the menu are better than others. The sandwiches, iced tea and desserts are great. The big baked potatoes not so much because they are a little dry.

A very average chain sandwich shop. Forgettable food and generic interior. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing right with it either.
