    Bottom line?  You can trust these people.  They know what they are doing, they are low pressure, and they can service the vehicles when something goes wrong.  No, I don't work for them.    I am just a very happy customer.

    MC Electric vehicles is an incredibly great mix of new and old.  New for all the incredible technology that is going into electric vehicles and old because they still do things the old fashion way in terms of customer service.  If you want to try out a vehicle overnight, they will let you.  If you have a problem with your new electric vehicle, they will come get you.  It is so refreshing to know that there are still companies out there that really care about their customers.  And I believe that they are the number one electric car dealership in the world, which you can see why.  They are also involved in an entire movement with influencers, government officials, changing state laws and more that anyone can get involved with.  If you are going to buy electric, then you need to check these guys out.

    An update - they were able to find me a new charger and I'm back in action, commuting to work on electric power.

    ====
    I really wanted to have a warm fuzzy feeling driving around town in my electric scooter from MC Electric.  Unfortunately, I found that their support for the product they sold me was really lackluster.

    I bought a EV1000 electric scooter from them.  It charges up using a regular electrical socket and can go about 20 miles on a charge.  It doesn't go super fast but for a short commute it's perfect and really inexpensive to operate.

    Initially I put about 30 miles on the scooter but noticed that the battery was depleting really quickly - it couldn't even make it 4-5 miles.  I called MC Electric and they said the battery needed to be replaced.  I brought it in, and they replaced the battery pack on the unit I had.  After that it seemed fine, and could make it about 20 miles before it ran out of juice.

    After I used the scooter to go about 80 miles total, it stopped charging.  The power supply died and was no longer able to charge the scooter, so it was dead in the water.  I called MC Electric, and they had no replacements for the power supply.   They apparently don't keep any inventory of replacement parts.  In addition, they said it would be over a month before they would be able to get me one.

    The moral of the story is buyer beware!  Ask lots of questions about the reliability of the products they're selling, and inquire about support.  I believe the future of transportation is electric, but we need the normal level of service you'd expect at any conventional car or motorcycle dealership.

Specialties

MC Electric Vehicles offers people a new way to drive. We like to say we are changing the world one car at a time and we really are. The electric cars that we have sold have not only changed the way that their owners drive, but the way they live. These cars give our owners a way to further connect to the green lifestyle, offers them a chance to slow down (at only 35mph, there is no more racing through life), and really gives them an opportunity to be an example for other people.
Eric Bennett, a ZENN owner, says "It shatters what a persons perceptions are about what an automobile is. That is what is so neat about it."

History

Established in 2003

In 2003, our founders saw a need to move away from current automotive trends and towards automobiles that are easier on our environment, thus MC Electric Vehicles was born. We have been working very hard to stay on top of the EV game and are proud to be able to call ourselves the #1 electric vehicle dealer in the Northwest!
