MC Attorney Group

so I've contacted this group a few times via Yelp and phone for two different cases and I have not heard back from them and have been advised by their front desk, who are clearly only paid to warm chairs, that the attorneys aren't available. Fine. So I went to their office personally and was told pretty much the same and that I'd have better luck calling them. You know what they say about how crap flows south (ie hired personnel typically reflect the quality of service you'll receive from the command chain). At any rate, this kind of treatment has convinced me that the other reviews here are from shills--paid or otherwise. They rely on marketing shibboleths like "boutique" to describe their service rather than actually delivering.

I highly recommend Michelle for any legal problems you may be experiencing. Michelle truly cares about your case and is honest with you about your options. I find Michelle to be extremely trustworthy and that is rare to find in a lawyer! Another reviewer commented that Michelle is like, "your non-judgmental older sister," and I wholeheartedly agree. Also, Michelle's commitment to your case is without comparison, she gives her clients her full attention and there is never a lack of communication, Michelle either picks up when you call or she calls you back in a decent amount of time. In my other experiences, I could not even get a call back from other attorneys.

I also worked with Theresa in regards to a bankruptcy I needed help with and have nothing but good things to say about her as well. Theresa had a great attention to detail, constantly kept me updated with the bankruptcy proceedings and followed up with me after. She was always available by phone, text and email and would tell me not to stress out and that she would take care of it. And she did, she handled the whole thing very well and bankruptcy is truly a difficult process to try to manage on one's own!

This review is for Michelle Mabugat. Words cannot express how thankful I am that I came across MIchelle. Not only is she well versed in any and all of the laws/legal precedent relating to your case, but she actually cares about your case and how it will affect you and your future. Michelle is kind, funny, and real. She goes above and beyond her duties to provide you with top notch legal representation that is laced with a dose of humanity, a crucial aspect of the attorney-client relationship that is often missing among current lawyers. Although I do not want to disclose the specifics of the case Michelle helped me with, I will say that Michelle not only eased my own anxiety in the days preceding the case, but followed up with me in the days following the case to see how I was doing.

Recently I emailed Theresa asking her if she could set up a consultation between me and her colleague, within 30 minutes of the email being sent I got a phone call from her colleague asking how she could help me. I explained my case to her over the phone and it turns out I didn't really need an attorney afterall.

Last year, I ran into a few ticket/ DUI issues, and I started to panic since this was my first brush with the law. I didn't know who to turn to with all of the legal mumble jumble, and Michelle Mabugat was referred to me as an excellent defense attorney.

At first, I might have been a bit hesitant, because lawyers don't always have the best rep, but she was definitely the BEST lawyer I could have ever hired! She explained everything to me in terms I could understand, she was always personable with me, making me feel as though she was available to me whenever I needed, and best of all, she made all of my legal troubles disappear! I recently purchased a condo for rental. My good friend recommended me to talk to Bora to setup my LLC and Trust for my new rental property for asset protection. Bora was really nice and gave her professional advises since she has dealt with many landlords before me. I was able to get everything done within a timely manner before my tenant moved in. I highly recommended Bora if any investors want to protect their asset! Oh yeah! I'll definitely come back when I have my next rental too!

Sara Chon is a brilliant attorney and actually cares about her clients. After encountering an employment related issue, Sara proved to be not only a relentless advocate but a compassionate and reassuring advisor. I was in hollywood last year and got into a fight with these dudes over a taxi. They broke my nose, cracked a rib, and kicked me in the head until I was almost unconscious. I never had a chance to throw a punch :( While this guy was kicking the crap out of me, my fiance got involved and chased him away with a piece of the broken beer bottle that they smashed on my head. A couple months later, the police finally pick him up on his arrest warrant. Days later, my fiance receives a subpeona and found out this jack ass that beat me up is now suing her for "emotional distress caused by physical threat." His dad happened to be a personal injury lawyer and basically was extorting us to drop the criminal charges or else he was going to make my fiance's life a living hell.

Anyways, we were referred to michelle from a friend and she was a godsend. the case never went to trial but we ended up settling. The guy ended up having to pay us restitution and pay for all of our medical bills even though HE was the one that filed suit LOL. We never expected to get any money out of this, we really just wanted the case to not go to trial. Michelle went above and beyond and really made sure that we were taken care of.

ps - She went up against one of the top personal injury lawyers in the state. He never stood a chance haha
