Its like a hit or miss with the Commuter Rail. Its so unbelievably temper mental, its beyond frustrating. I have become accustomed to delays in the evening due to rush hour and the rails ever frequent technical issues that are becoming expected rather than surprising now. However, when the train was delayed one morning because the engines 'broke-down' and we had to wait for the next rail to come and push our train into Boston, it really got to me. I did not get into Boston until 3 hours later. Getting on an 8:20AM train and not arriving until well after 11:15AM left me very unhappy. Not a great start to my day.

I am not always impressed by the MBTA Commuter Rail - Providence/Stoughton Line. Why is there always a technical/maintenance issue lately? Get it together.

The trains always run on time, the station is clean and includes some vending machines and cafes for hungry travelers, and its centrally located near the Providence place mall.

What more can you ask for from a train station?
