This review is for the Malaga Inn itself. It has been a couple years since we had the pleasure of staying here. We stayed here for a District Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Each of our rooms were uniquely decorated with antique furniture. It was clean, well kept.
Located in historic downtown Mobile, it is conveniently located right across the street from the civic center, and walking distance to great local restaurants and shopping.
This is always the first place we call when we know we're going to be in Mobile. Unfortunately, it is always already booked solid. If you can, make your reservations early.
While it is a bit run down, this is one of my favorite places in Mobile. Especially during mardi Gras. The restaurant has been closed for a long time, but you can still enjoy a cocktail in the center courtyard, by the fountain. One day I will take this place over and make it mine!!
Book your room for Mardi Gras early - there is a waiting list a mile long!
