The restaurant: definitely one of the hottest in Atlanta - sexy and fun and a great place to get dressed up for and go to with friends.  We dined al fresco on a mid-level terrace, which was high enough so we had a great view of the city - but also had awesome high-rises coming up above/around us, as well.  The atmosphere definitely rivals that of stylish restaurants in NYC, Chi-town, SF...  The best part is that the food is really excellent, as well (I'd suspected that the restaurant was popular moreso because of the 'Maxim' name than the cuisine).  Their oysters rockefeller was totally delicious, as was my 10 oz. filet topped with lump crab and bearnaise.

The rooftop bar: again, the view is very cool.  But after a while, the thumping techno and overpriced drinks weren't cutting it.  Definitely venture up there if you're eating at the restaurant, but for a more fun rooftop scene, I'd go to Shout! in Midtown.

There's very little difference between the entrance and hostess stand here and the entrance to the old Gold Club. Which might be dating me as an Atlantan (and a philandering jerk), but whatev.

The strip club vibe gets reinforced through the leathery decor and the bass line from the loop playing in the bar....which is disappointing since our waitress never once took her top off.

As for the food, it was pleasantly un-decadent and strip clubby. The mini doughnuts with butterscotch sauce were the highlight of the dinner. I could have eaten several dozen.

So I am sitting here on my Mac like Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City thinking about how to write this review.  Where do I start, since this place gave me a lot to gripe about!  The one thing that keeps popping up in my mind is the word:  STRIKE...

We came here to celebrate Kelly's birthday and her inauguration of turning into a cougar...or is it a puma!?  Well Kelly knows "someone" and this person said that he would hook her birthday up with a table at 9:15PM.  He gave her the whole spiel of how he would take care of her and her friends and that he pulled the strings to get us this table.  Yeah right...

First, we were not even seated at 9:15!  *STRIKE 1* Since we were only put down for 4 people instead of 6 it took them about an additional 30 min to seat us!  I mean, who eats dinner at 10:00PM?  We sat at the bar to get some drinks...WARNING:  PRICEY!!!  Seriously, after 5 drinks...my bill was $60.00!  I was somewhat confused at the bar...were we suppose to be underground?  in ice?  in limbo?  The atmosphere really confused me.  I can't really say much for the main dining area either since it was smaller than I expected  and felt it was missing some sort of topic of conversation!  Anyways back to the bar, we were surprised with a free sushi roll which was quite good and it excited us to see what's in store.  Isn't it funny how free food could turn something negative to a positive!?

Well we were finally seated and met our wonderful waitress.  She was very friendly and cute and assured us we would have a good time.  Well 10 min into looking into our menus, the manager came over to our table to tell my partner that he needs to take his hat off.  Funny, since David called the restaurant ahead of time to ask if he could wear a hat and they said yes, as long as its not a baseball cap. *STRIKE 2*  So he had to wear his hair with no product and I had to hear all about it...oh, hail no!  Thanks Maxim Prime...you make him upset, then ruining my night as well and causing me to be even more upset!!!

Obviously our waitress was very shocked as well to what just happened and reassured that everything was fine.  David even got a free drink out of it, if that helped any.  Well we ordered our entrees and the food was actually good.  I highly recommend the Kobe Burgers and Salmon.  Well our check came to the table and we were bummed! *STRIKE 3*  This one goes to not the restaurant, but to the guy that did not take care of a girl who he says he likes!  (Whatta LOSER...way to not impress!)  Anyways, we ended up footing the entire bill!

What did we learn today...
- Don't believe in the hype
- Don't try to make a fashion statement at a "trendy" restaurant
- Always have some hair product readily available.
- Don't piss off the gays
- The term "hook up" to this particular guy is not treating her to a special day, but thinking he did just enough to maybe get something later!
Could this night seriously get anymore Sex in the City!?!?

I gave 2 stars for the food and 1 additional star for our outstanding waitress!

Sometimes I get the impression that Atlanta's restaurants sometimes try "too hard".  The buzz about the Glen Hotel and Maxim Prime had reached an audible mumble, so we thought it was a great idea to take advantage of a buy one entree, get one entree free promotion that they were running.

We went on Sunday afternoon, right at opening around 5pm.  The Glen does offer valet for the hotel that is discounted to $5 (from $12) by the hotel.  So that worked.

On the outside, the Glen looks old, like an old azz health department or something.  Definitely not something I'd put into my "hot list", but for whatever reason folks have really gravitated towards this place socially.

The lobby, on a Sunday afternoon, was low key, but had a few people in there chatting it up.  I had on shorts, and probably wouldnt have gotten in because of their dress code, but the hostess allowed me to since it was so early.

Perhaps I kinda wish she had told me to go back home.

Maxim Prime has a upstairs/downstairs.  Downstairs is a very unimpressive, cramped lounge that looks a bit disheveled (sp).   As you head upstairs on a wrapping staircase, its difficult not to notice the black/white lettering on the wall...."cool" i thought.

The dining room is small and equally as unimpressive as the lounge.
The corniest thing is that they have these screens on the wall that have fish swimming...its gotta be some type of microsoft screen saver or something.  Weird, cheap, corny...why not just put a real damn fish take in there?  Right? No?

As far as the food was concerned.  We started off with a tempura crawfish appetizer....all tempura, or as i was say "fry" and no crawfish.  $14 later, i was scratching my damn head as to why I ordered that.

This place is apparently known for their steak, so we both ordered steak dishes.  We ordered the following:  filet mignon (10 oz) with the parmesan garlic french fries, and also this "sampler" type deal, inspired by different cultures....they offer cuban, japanese, and some other bs.  We ordered the cuban, which came with Lobster tail that was cooked with sometype of glaze, cuban skirt steak, and plaintain hash....

The hash was as gross as it sounded.  The skirt steak was tasty, but small, and the lobster was phenomenal (the exact reason why the waitress recommended that we NOT order that--blank stare).  The filet was underwhelming..it had a bit of a "too burnt" to be served to a customer "charred-glaze" on top of it.  The steaks all come with your choice of sauce....sigh.  I got the Peppercorn...sigh...so uninspiring that I ended up dipping the steak in the lobster sauce...that made the steak at least bearable.

The service was cool...took a little long for the entree to come out.  But our server was pleasant.

I saw the manager out greeting tables although he didnt come over to our table.  Nevertheless, I think thats always a nice touch.

Went up to the rooftop which has a great view of the city...in fact incredible, but seemed a bit unogranized/junky...but apparently this is where all of Atlanta's greatest socialites come to play....uhhhh ok.

Will I be back?  Maybe to hang out on the rooftop...otherwise, the food is way too expensive (even with a promotion) and way overrated.

No thank you.

Reading the initial reviews of Maxim Prime, I was expecting a lounge that resembled a brothel, an expensive but fully satisfying steakhouse, and a very guy-oriented experience with Maxim Magazine's name attached to it. I got none of these. The lounge is much more Fur Bus than Whorehouse, the restaurant was nothing special, and is definitely not a "guys" steakhouse. The only saving grace about this place is the rooftop lounge with a fantastic view of the city.

The lounge on the ground floor of the Glenn Hotel is bizarre. Maybe this would be trendy as some speakeasy in the Village, but just outside the elegant bar of the Glenn Hotel, it seems very out of place. It's not very big, and as I mentioned above, the decor is very reminiscent of the inside of the Fur Bus. Two top shelf drinks cost $23, and they were out of Bombay Sapphire. How can a bar be out of Sapphire at 8pm?

The main restaurant is located on the second floor, and is a definite step up decor wise. According to our waiter, its supposed to be a "steakhouse you can take girls to". Odd that Maxim has attached its name to the place if that's the concept. And since when can't I bring my wife to Lobster Bar or New York Prime? The steak offerings were limited but not overly priced. A couple of filets, a strip, a skirt and a flat iron, all priced in the $20-30 range. No bone-in ribeye for one, but there was a 32-oz. bone-in for two, which a friend and I split. Unlike Kevin Rathbun's porterhouse which is a great dish to share, the ribeye doesnt really work as a "for 2" dish. The slices are too inconsistent when precut, with some being outstanding, and others containing too much gristle or fat.

The menu also features "threesomes" where you can pair a cut of meat with seafood and a veggie. Neat idea, but they are not pairing their best steaks IMO, and each selection has some funky way of preparation, such as "bitter orange, tamarind and honey marinated skirt steak". C'mon.

For appetizers, we split the tuna and yellowtail crudos, which were described as a marinated form of ceviches. It's actually more like sashimi with 4 small slices for each plate. I found the yellowtail with rum, lime and jalapeno to be very salty. The tuna with avacado and grapefruit was decent, but not in anyway filling.

So, unfortunately, Maxim Prime will not join Steakhead's list of top Atlanta steakhouses. However, there is one big caveat to this review. The upstairs deck may have the best nightime view of the Atlanta skyline. Drinking a mojito upstairs in the comfy lounge chairs was all good, and is a place I will definitely revisit.

This review is for the restaurant and the rooftop lounge. I'll preface it by saying that I wasn't paying, as it was a birthday dinner. I checked out the rooftop lounge in the early evening where it was relaxed and the view is unbeatable up there. I did notice that the drinks were NOT cheap -- however at least they were strong. I think folks have got to remember that it's a HOTEL, and therefore you're going to pay HOTEL prices for stuff.

I had dinner at the restaurant and it was enjoyable. The view of the next-door parking garage -- not so much. The downstairs bar was sleek and played music videos overhead. The servers themselves wore slinky black dresses, with tattoos on display. I don't get a steakhouse vibe at all even though they do serve steak. My Cuban "threesome" (MP's version of surf and turf) was decent, however the steak I had at Shaun's recently was fresh in my memory and was much better) The chocolate & peanut butter dessert was great.

We went back up to the rooftop at night and enjoyed a nightclub atmosphere -- no cover. Keep in mind that like most clubs in Atlanta they have promoters and the vibe can change on the night, and given that its a hotel, special events are bound to have it closed (as it was when I visited a subsequent evening where it was closed due to a magazine launch party)

I would definitely go to the rooftop lounge again - with the expensive drinks - it's great to see some choices in downtown Atlanta

Several of my friends took me here for a birthday dinner, and we had a great time.

I had the Maxim Salad as an appetizer, which contained goat cheese, cashews, dried cherries, and honey sherry vinaigrette. Tasty.

For the main course, I ordered the 10 oz. filet medium rare, and it actually came out cooked medium-rare. This may sound trivial, but there are so many restaurants in this city that get that wrong.

A friend of mine said she loved the glazed ribs she ordered, and everybody seemed generally happy with what they ordered.

The sides seem expensive at $8 each until you realize that it's a serving for two or three people to sample. We had creamed corn and mashed potatoes, both of which were delicious.

As a nice bonus, when the staff was told it was my birthday, they gave me a free brulee cheesecake! It was delicious, I highly recommend it as a dessert (even if you're actually paying for it).

My only real complaint about the place is everything is pricey for what you get, particularly drinks. A mixer with Maker's Mark in it shouldn't cost $12.

I ended up deciding to try the "absinthe minded" cocktail because I'd never tried absinthe before and had been wanting to for a while. The waitress at least had the sense to tack a "have you ever tried absinthe?" warning to it. Not bad, though I suspect there are better places to sample absinthe.

Service was a little on the slow side, but I didn't mind because that gave me more time to talk with my friends. Just keep that in mind if you're in a hurry to get somewhere.

If you're worried that this is an "upscale Hooters" because of the association with Maxim Magazine, fret not. I couldn't see any evidence of this partnership other than the name of the place. Maybe I missed something.

The decor is really loud, with crazy lighting everywhere. If I had put away four or five of those absinthe cocktails that might have been a problem. So don't bring anyone here prone to epileptic seizures, but otherwise you should check it out!

Attended MP's rooftop lounge party; and honestly it was nice. I mean, personally I never quite understood the entire appeal of going to these kind of places, but I was pretty dazzled by the lights and colors. Definitely Had a lot of fun! Atlanta is a pretty large city with lots to offer; Maxim Prime being just one of the "luxury lounges" I had a chance to visit.

Martini's are pretty expensive here, but other than that there is not a whole lot to review in context of my visit. the bar and roof lounge was jam packed, and the music was very decent!

This is a review of my non-meal at the restaurant, just based on my attempt at lunch this afternoon.

I work a few blocks away and arrived a little after 1pm with my husband in tow. I had eaten at B.E.D. a few times and have stayed in the Glenn once last year, so I assumed it'd be trendy, stylish, upscale joint. It was those things.

We stepped up the hosting booth in this tiny dark foyer-type place and no one was there. We felt weird standing in the tiny room, so I stepped into the downstairs bar and it, too, was empty. Anybody home? We stepped through the goofy curtain of leather to see a spiral staircase up to the restaurant. My husband saw an employee upstairs look down on us and walk away.

We decided to walk up the stairs and the place looked a little over half full. Glancing over the menus, a women finally came up, I assume it was the hostess, and ask us, "Do you have a reservation?" We did not, so she asked for our *first and last* names and starts walking us back down the stairs to the hostess station. When I asked her why she needed our names she answered, "I need to put them in the system."

No way, Nevermind, Nuhuh. I thanked her and shook my head, but she chased after us saying ,"We have tables! You can eat here!"

I simply do not have time to deal with mess like that on my lunch break. First there is no one to greet us, then they attempt to extract personal information before we can get a table. Incredible!

The burger and fries I spotted on someone's table looked yummy, but my tolerance for frou-frou restaurant hoop-jumping is nil. If you're like me, then I recommend dining elsewhere.

Don't rain on my parade I say!!!

Open rooftop, white couches, a possible breeze, a $14 red bull and vodka in one hand, and a view to die for.........that's probably as good as it gets in Atlanta right?!?! No seriously, unless you're one of the lucky one's that has a penthouse condo in the city then this place rocks. Although you did hear (read) me correctly....$14 red bull vodka but with the view, the service, the "Spin me right round baby right round" 80's early 90's music the d.j was spinning, no cover, and great friends to look down upon the city with the $14 drink was of no concern to me. For those who may feel $14 for a drink is a bit much (which I agree it is) then i'm giving you a heads up. This place is NOT cheap.

What I loved was the M-I-A-M-I type vibe you get here. There is nooo roof people and the glass incased lounge is lined with white couches that are O so comfy. You get the VIP feel without the VIP price....minus the cost of drinks, but don't tell anyone but it is ok to splurge sometimes. Life is too short!

I would totally recommend this spot if you're looking for something a little upscale but relaxed and is unlike any other lounge in Atlanta.

Let me give you a quick run down........

You enter through the lobby of the Glenn Hotel where you're greeted by a very large bouncer who opens the door for you, then you make your way to the elevator where there is another large bouncer and staff waiting to check your i.d and do a head count so only the right amount of people can go on to the elevator at one time, and at this point you hop on the elevator you make your way to the very top of the top floor and exit to a view of the city skyline. *I have to point out if anyone is familiar with Karma which was open a few years back and also Slice Pizza in downtown the guy who rocks (manages/ owns) Maxim is also the owner of those places.*

I would definitely recommend giving this place a shot. I had great service although it was very busy, they do serve food here, and although it can be a bit pricey it's worth it to just have a romantic or not so romantic evening out and get dressed up (or not. the crowd can be very eclectic) and enjoy what the city has to offer.

All that's missing at this spot is an ocean and the breeze that comes with it......they've got everything else covered.

Located in the stylish Glenn Hotel, Maxim Prime was part of the recent $2.5 million renovation of the Glenn, which is just East of CNN and Centennial Olympic Park at the intersection of Spring and Marietta. This former B.E.D. location has been transformed into a fresh, vibrant and certainly stylish oasis.

The beds are certainly gone and in their place is a multi-level paradise, complete with Garden of Eden entryway, Chocolate Lounge to relax in while waiting for your table, see-and-be-seen bar with awesome ceiling, stairwell of maxims, Maxim-hot hostesses and waitresses, 100-seat dining room, private dining rooms, terrace and more!

Slated to be opening 25 Maxim Prime locations over the next five years, the initial roll-outs seem to be Atlanta, NY, Miami and Las Vegas. It is a partnership between Maxim magazine and restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow of China Grill fame and Googling either of them will produce plenty to read about!

The dress code is casual chic and there is talk of a live DJ on the rooftop lounge Thursday, Friday and Saturday's so keep an ear out for it.

I'm sure you're asking, "But how is the food???" Well, I was surprised to read that the focus was to offer smaller portions and lighter fare. I will preface that this initial review was during a soft-opening event so the menu was being tested out and while the menu was fairly unique and quite delicious, portions were anything but small. Chef Daniel Zoby from FAB and City Grill runs the kitchen and between the foie gras, lobster, various steaks, sushi and surf and turf options (this was the most reasonably sized and a favorite), diners will certainly have plenty of choices, regardless of what they are craving...and then there's dessert!

This is indulgence, pure and simple. From the atmosphere to the food everything is over-the-top and while some may not appreciate the Garden of Eden leaves, snakes and apples and Seven Deadly Sins/Heavenly Virtues carved into the bar, it all just lends itself to what is sure to be the next Downtown hotspot.

There is valet parking for $5, just make sure to get validated by a hostess and Maxim offers breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner.

I feel Maxim is just trying to thrive on an urban environment that is spawning in Atlantic Station, an otherwise SUV/minivan-laden family playground. The prices were mildly outrageous and the service was almost comically bad. I feel the place was more about image and trying to get a good vibe going far more than the food, so I don't feel it deserves a very good rating as a restaurant.

As a pricey bar, it might get 3 stars.

Two things to put out there first:
1.  I love the downtown location.  Places like this will begin to revive downtown ATL.
2.  As a vegetarian I have never and will never bother eating at a steak house.

That being said, this review is about the bars and the rooftop.  The nightlife here is hot.  Three different and great bars to choose from including the rooftop.  An amazing view, great music.  They are selective about who makes it to the rooftop though and it doesn't seem to be based off looks but attire.  I just wish the rooftop was larger because it gets really very crowded on a Wednesday night.

I'm only rating the Rooftop Lounge.

First, I do agree that the bathrooms were quite disappointing. Use the bathrooms downstairs. Minus one star!

BUT... everything else (I didn't use their parking) was FANTASTIC! Service was the best you could hope for in Atlanta. Doormen opened the door and greeted us as we walked in the plush lounge downstairs. Everyone asked if they could help us as we made our way to the elevators. Once upstairs, we got a table and our waitress was there to take our drink orders before we could settle in our seats. The drinks were strong and delicious. I definitely recommend the Mojojito.

The crowd was dressed to impress but no one seemed fake...everyone seemed to be genuine and having a great time. The crowd was late twenties to late forties and very international. The "live music" this particular night left much to be desired but thank goodness the DJ came shortly after our arrival and played 80's, 90's and top 40 hits.

And to top it off...the view! The breeze was blowing, the sun was setting, and by nightfall you couldn't ask for a more spectacular setting than the city lights of Atlanta as your backdrop.

The service was the best, the drinks were worth every penny (and they cost quite a few pennies), and the view made me want to become a regular.

I was recently in Atlanta on business and was staying at a hotel nearby. I read some yelp reviews and naturally tried to decipher realistic reviewers from complainers.  Wasn't sure about this place based on mixed reviews, but the menu sounded good and unique, and service seems to always depend on what night you go.  Since it was a Tuesday night, I figured I would be ok.

Once I arrived, I was seated quickly and received a great level of attention all night.   Again, it was Tuesday.  The restaurant was still pretty busy, but not crazy.  But the food was delicious.  I am a bit of a foodie, so I look for high quality.  I started with the foie gras PB&J app.  Very unique and tasty, but the sweet slightly overpowered the savory.  However, the salmon that I ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious.  I would highly recommend the salmon if you are a salmon lover. Overall, great place, hip vibe and great food.

My review is for the Maxim Prime Skylounge (not the restaurant).

So I went "Topless" at the Skylounge...that was the name of the event.  I was meeting some friends there.  When I drove up to the Glenn Hotel (http://www.glennhotel.com), I saw that the valet parking was $12 dollars...well I knew that would cut into my bar tab budget...but remember get your valet service ticket stamped from the Maxim Lounge to get a few dollars knocked off.

The doorman to Maxim Lounge was nice and answered some of my "first timer" questions.  The downstairs lounge is was nice with a couple of bars right as you enter.  We followed the "crowd" to the elevator.  The elevator greeter was also nice.  To get to the Skylounge, we had to take the elevator to "R"...ie Rooftop.

When we got off the elevator, we were greeted by a wonderful view.  There were views of the "CNN" letters, Centennial Olympic Park...the Atlanta night scene as a whole was gorgeous from the top-down view.

After getting drinks from the bar, we sat in on of the VIP areas...no we didn't reserve it, but they let us sit there until the party that did reserve came ...that was really nice of them)...our waitress, Bridget, was friendly & great about checking on use even when the 12Am crowd came (yes get there before 10:30 or you have to wait downstairs in a 20-30min elevator line)...my friends had great things to say about the bartenders too (i only had wine, they had the mixed drinks).  However, the bathrooms did leave something to be desired, but the line was short.

The view was the best thing.  After the view, the 2nd best "things" were the two DJs (DJ Smiles & Jazz Space+Bass)...no straight radio top 40's with those two.

The 20/30-something crowd was very diverse and "chilled."  Most of the guys had on the latest in stylish $60 T-Shirts with jeans and sneakers...but that was just right for this crowd.  The ladies were dressed-up a little more in sexy skirts, dresses or eveningwear.  Since I make jewelry and love fashion, I loved the whole people watching experience.

VERDICT:
Based on the views, the DJs (for a Thursday night), the service and the people/fashion watching...it gets s GO from me

Note: Don't go to The Glenn Hotel if you can't afford it. What I mean to say is, it's not inexpensive but worth every penny.

The property has something for everyone and myself and four others enjoyed every bit of it.
Valet parking is a dream especially if there's a concert going on at Philips arena. We started in the hotel lobby lounge waiting for the rain to stop so we could eventually check out the rooftop bar.
Pleasant and quiet service took care of anything we needed in this comfortable downstairs lounge.
Rain over, we took the one tiny elevator upstairs to the roof deck that overlooks the still broken skyline of Atlanta. When are they going to fix those darn windows that were damaged during the tornado? A fun crew working behind the bar and a live acoustic set by a guy who looked like he just got dumped. That was a bit of a downer.
Lots of room on plush couch/bed set ups and cocktail tables lining the perimeter of the roof.
Despite being a half hour late for our dinner reservation (damn you extra glass of champagne + sunset) we were seated right away in the dining room. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the decor of the space though certain corners were dark and lacking the detail you experience upon first entering the restaurant.
Our server with an accent so thick I thought it was Charo herself, was informative and seemed to have a whole team supporting her.
Our glasses were never empty, our food well-timed and napkins folded when returning to the table from the restroom. I especially like that last bit.
The food - please go and try as many appetizers as you can to explore the creativity and fresh ingredients fused together that will make your tummy so happy. Really, we were all stealing bits off each other's plates.

I actually went to Maxim Prime earlier this summer on July 22, 2008. It was during restaurant week, and I rather expected to be impressed. There are no reviews from that week so I thought I would contribute my two cents! Note: This is just a review of the restaurant, not bar.

First of all, I made a reservation on http://opentable.com (which I have found to always be dependable, I believe it has something to do with how much it costs business to sign up with the) for 7:30 pm, and was not seated until 8:45 pm. I should have left earlier, but I had brought a friend from Germany and I really had been waiting to see the decor of the restaurant: which was strange. It rather reminds me of the inside of an aquarium with cartoonish fish being projected unto the walls. NOT exactly how I want to feel when I'm about to spend a lot of money.
Then came the food. - by the time I sat down, one choice on the menu was gone from the entrees and from the dessert with no substitution on the prixe fix. The waiter was rude to us and from our seat, which was really really cold, I could see a very dissatisfied couple leaving. My friends and I made our orders and I ordered a garlic frieds as an appetizer. After an extraordinarily long wait, they came. They were hot and delicious and absolutely rolled in salt. A lot of salt, so much that the bottom was coated in multiple layers of sea salt, they were barely edible, but I was hungry enough to do it.

The goat cheese salad was delicious, and the meat that I had wasn't bad. The dessert was the best course, although it was merely  fruit sorbet, made by HaagenDaz.  - hehe i know because i saw them pushing in a large tub into the kitchen. The presentation of the sorbet was not uniform, the disgruntled couple that had left received only two scoops, while we received three.

I saw our waiter deliberately catch my eye and then ignore me for ten minutes. I could not wait to pay the $5 valet and get OUT of Maxim Prime.

Swanky place in a central downtown location. The restaurant itself is sleek and trendy. The rooftop bar is touted as the hot spot on Wednesday nights- the view is wonderful on a clear night. The seating is limited by the bar, and cocktail service on the couches. Bar service is meh, I cant blame them for being fed up with the dress to impress but dont tip crowd. Valet parking is a nice touch if you dont feel like circling the place to find a parking spot. DJ plays a good mix of music that appeals to just about everyone there. Not a bad place

Not the restaurant, but the roof top lounge filthy unisex bathrooms and $12 valet parking...ruined the experience

Love the atmosphere, drinks were pretty good, wine list decent, service SLOW.  There is nothing worse than waiting for over 20 mins for your salad.  I mean come on guys, get it together.  I'm paying over $70 per person and starving.  How does that work?  GM of the building was very accomodating and great atmosphere.  The food was great as it should be but may just go back to check out the roof top is about it.

This may not be a reflection on Maxim Prime, but on the Wednesday night event. Also the fact that it started raining was not cool. Here is the deal, the place was cool to me when it used to be B.E.D. First off, you have to deal with the fake Atlanta movers and shakers. When you walk in, there is a list that you sign up for to even get picked (that's right picked) to go upstairs. Its amazing how much money these bars are missing by assuming who will/wont buy drinks. After waiting for about 20 min, and seeing people get in who came after us, we were getting restless. Finally we went upstairs, and it was crowded but a cool vibe. I would say check this out after you check out cooler places and lounges.
