Great ribs!
Tortilla soup that is craved weekly!
Max & Erma's has good food.
The service is hit or miss, but as long as they don't forget to bring my soup I'm happy. -

Boring typical bar and grill food.....

Have always had a pretty good inclination towards Max and Erma's menu. They always seem to have at least 1 item on the menu that I am willing to get if none of their "seasonal" offerings entice me. If you want to have a heart clogging goodness, you need to try their chessy-bacon french fry appetizer. Don't want to know how bad it is for you but it is delicious none-the-less.
The food usualy comes out in quick order and in good temperature as well. Some of the portions seem to be a bit lacking when it comes to some of their "season" items so they can be a little hit or miss at times. All-in-all a good place to go if you are out with friends and can't make up your mind. -

Garbage burger. Need I say more? It has everything you didn't know you wanted on a hamburger. M&E was doing the crazy burger idea well before any of these new "gourmet" joints poppin' up. Some other decent menu items, but basically you are looking at a slightly better Applebee-TGI-Ruby Tuesday expeience.

This is in the same vein TGIF and Crapplebees, but a whole lot better. I had the bacon and bleu burger, with the upgrade to onion rings. The food was delicious. Nice toasted bun, cooked nicely to my medium-rare specs. TONS of bacon and blue cheese on top. A tasty treat for sure. They also have some sort of rewards program which my parents are member of that got my mom a free root-beer float. Great family place for sure.

Mediocre food at decent prices. About the only thing I can say is that it's consistent with every other Max & Erma's I've been to. The fish and chips were cooked a little too long, my Guiness came in a can, and the service was average.

Well, if you like choice, say to play 'spin the bottle' on restaurants look-a-like / taste-a-like. Add Max and Erma's to your collection of TGIF / Applebees / Ruby Tuesdays /.... besides the quick food delivery nothing made me jump up and say. This place is king!. Oh well.....

This place surprised us. We walked and saw all that crap on the walls...it's a bit like shenanigans...but the food rocked. I went for the tortilla burger and it was perfect. The girls went for the sangria...a risky bet usually...but as it turns out was tasty. Bottom line, appearances don't mean anything...this place is a hell of a lot better than applebees or any of those type eats.
