Mattew always answers the phone, so nice to have a real person. Looked around my house for a local move. Quotes are by the hour depending on number of guys. He said they would do everything from a-z but if I packed smart it would save money. I give my self a 4.5 stars for packing and saved $500 on the quote! BTW, another company quoted me the same so Matthew did not over quote. LOVE!

Today I did my third move with Matthew's. I will never, ever use another moving company. I LOVE these guys. Matthew is an awesome guy, and has the best customer service around. Jason and Jesse are a stellar team. They arrived slightly early (like last time) and got to work right away. They did my last two moves and they are just fantastic. They are quick, efficient, kind, honest, polite, beyond reasonably priced and I have never seen them mishandle anything. I have a lot of computer equipment, photo equipment and a lot of breakables and I have full confidence in them and I've never even had so much as a cup shatter. When the handle of a plastic bin cracked, Jesse brought it to my attention immediately and apologized profusely. No big deal, the thing was 4 years old and everything inside was safe. I appreciated the honesty more than I cared about a cracked storage container.
This time I was worried because I was moving to the third floor and, stupidly, packed my dresser full of books (Sorry guys... never again, I swear!). I was worried it would take them ages to get it up the stairs and that it would be too heavy. They picked that thing up like it was totally empty. These guys are crazy strong. I was completely moved in to my new place in just under three hours.... Which was exactly what Matthew predicted.
Thank you Matthew, Jason and Jesse. You guys rock!!! -

I wouldn't consider moving with anyone else. I've moved three times with Matthew's. The most recent move was this morning and I always love being so eager to give deserving five-star reviews that I procrastinate on the things I should be doing. Like unpacking or organizing some closet somewhere.
Anyway, Matthew was easy to work with. From the time I booked they gave me historical info on my last two moves (how long it took, how many people were on the job, the rates, etc). Matthew is easy to get a hold off and was very flexible and understanding when I needed some last-minute adjustments.
His team showed up earlier than planned this morning and got to work right away. They are personable and professional, and its obvious they're there to get a job done and they hustle. Which is always appreciated when you hire someone on an hourly rate.
My favorite part about Matthew's Moving is the care they take with my belongings. I love my furniture and the guys pretty much wrap it up in a cloud and then cushion it on kitten fur and dove feathers before moving it onto their truck.
When moving I had a very difficult time finding Yelp (or other) reviews for cleaners, Realtors, or any other moving-related businesses. I do hope this review helps others looking for movers. -

Moving can be so painful. But Matthew's Moving made it so much less painful for me... I called in advanced and talked to Matt, who was very courteous and helpful with giving me the estimate and making the arrangement. On the moving day, movers arrived at the promised time (actually 10 min earlier). They were very professional, friendly, quick, and very careful with all the things including my junk. They also took apart my bed and reassembled my bed, which would have taken forever for me to handle, but for them it was instant. Somehow even got rid that squeaky noise my bed used to make! Awesome. Everything was done within the estimated time that Matt told me over the phone.
I hate moving. But if I have to do it again, I will definitely call Matthew's for my next one. Highly recommended :) -

This company is really great. Matthew came personally to do the review and assessment. His crew was really great - *very* fast, professional, careful with our things, and efficient. They even came in under the initial estimate - very hardworking and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about them. I wasn't sure how they were going to get a very large bookcase up to a 2nd floor loft, up a spiral staircase, but not only did they do it, they were very creative and had it done under a minute. Lupe was the best. I would recommend them to anyone and happily use them the next time we move.

Moved our family several times. The absolute best movers! Trucks are clean, well stocked with moving stuff to keep your things safe and they arrive on time. The only thing is they tend to book up way in advance so if you want a good mover get on their schedule in advance or you may have to move with one of the other 'not so great' movers in town.
