Messy and loud inside- just not the "salon" vibe I look for- MY bang trim was butchered- not sure how that happens? Also, you are going to work in close contact with a client- please do me a favor and brush your teeth after that cigarette break- Again - cigarette smelling hair stylist breath is not part of the vibe I look for in a salon.
On the flip side- the girl that did my eyebrows was really good, but even twith that said I do not think I will return unless I havea hankering to smell like a night club after I get my hair cut.
Matt Wayne salon is reasonably priced, has super nice people, and gave me a great haircut. while the building is strange, it gets props from me for being in midtown.

Matt wanted to open his own salon to create a higher quality place for stylists to work which in turn, has been so priceless for the salon and day spa guests.

Matt is a salon owner of 13 years and a stylist for 17. Passion for hairstyling and advanced education for his team is his foremost importance. He feels helping the earth environmentally and socially, in partnership with Aveda, is a gratifying and ongoing dedication. Matt enjoys an active life outdoors as well as exploring music culture with his daughter.
