Review from Mike P.
Broadview Heights, OH
Came here yesterday afternoon for the first time in over five years. The big change we noticed was the wall to the left when you walk into the museum. Most of the wall is cased in glass, and the many trophys that Matt Kenseth got for winning NASCAR races. Very impressive and beautiful. There's many other trophies on display all around the museum, including the 2003 Winston Cup Championship trophy and the IROC Championship trophy.
Also on display in the museum are a couple of NASCAR Cup cars with the DeWalt sponsor, the Lycos sponsor from the Busch series, an IROC car, a new Ford Mustang, an old modified race car, and a wrecked Citifinancial sponsored car.
Many other cool items on display- lots of die cast cars, many different fire suits (the McDonalds Big Mac had an interesting design), the 'winning robot' from an old Sprint commercial.....and so on and so on.
There's the gift store selling Matt Kenseth stuff of old and new. There's a lot to choose from, though be warned that some of the clothes may not be in your size. Ive seen shirts that I liked, but none in my size. Of course, you can always order official Matt Kenseth stuff at http://nascar.com or http://mattkenseth.com. As of yesterday, there were many good deals on stuff to buy, and I brought a very cool Matt Kenseth/team 17 t shirt for at least $10.00 less than what it used to cost.
The lady who worked there was welcoming, friendly, courteous and kept a big smile on her face.
Was disappointed that we were the only ones there yesterday afternoon.
There's no cost to visit the museum. Admission is free and photography is permitted.
The museum is beautiful and impressive and a must see when you're in the area. Even if you're not a Matt Kenseth fan, any NASCAR fan as well as fans of other racing series will come to appreciate and love this place. Non racing fans would be impressed and awed by what they see and hey who knows may be enough for them to tune into NASCAR and other racing series.1 Previous Review: Show all »

I am a Matt Kenseth fan and a member of his fan club, so I could be a little bias. Even if you are a Jimmy Johnson fan, you would have to give it at least three stars.
The museum part is great. It is free and the items change from time to time with the additions of cars and such. Your first time will take an hour or two to see and read everything in detail. The displays are well done and informative.
The gift store is heaven if you are a Matt Kenseth fan. Lots, and I do mean lots of items for you to choose from. They even have a number of autographed items for your buying pleasure.
Cambridge is not that far from Madison, so if you are in the area, and a race fan, even a Jimmy Johnson fan, take that short drive to the museum and look around.
As you may know, Matt Kenseth grew up in the area and his family still lives in the area. This is a museum that makes everyone in the area proud.
