Matilda Bean has either moved or completely shut down because they are no longer operating at this location. I gave them a try when they were around, and I didn't much care for their food. Willy's Mexicana is better & cheaper.

What can I say about Matilda Bean? It's the best burrito joint in Eastpoint. I know it's all about burritos but you must try the salad. Picture this, a tortilla bowl with beans, chicken, cheese, lettuce, pico de gallo and sour cream. Ooh La La.
Customers have been enjoying Matilda Bean for the past 3 years, especially at lunchtime. Whenever you drive by a restaurant at noon that is filled wall to wall with patrons, you know it must be good. At Matilda Bean you can choose from burritos, quesadillas, nachos, chips & salsa and tacos. Whether you want chicken, steak, pork or no meat at all, you'll eat well for a reasonable price. Not to mention if you buy 9 burritos you get one free.
