Masters Tournament
1 review for Masters Tournament
I'm here to give you, basically, a non-golf view of the Masters. My family is from Augusta and I was born there. My grandparents have had tickets for over 40 years. I used to go when I was little, solely to get my grandfather to buy me a Klondike bar. We'd sit for hours at Amen corner, watching all the golfers go through.
As a grownup, I have to admit I still have a soft spot for the Augusta National. In my single days, I took a couple boyfriends to the tournament and won points. I still love the non-price-gouged $1 pimento cheese sandwiches. I still love hanging out in my grandparent's backyards in the late afternoon, listening to people applaud from the golf course. I like watching people front snobby and wear ridiculously expensive clothes. I like marveling at how many people can crowd a sidewalk all wearing khaki pants. Good times. Thanks, Masters.
