Thank you Gino! These guys are great. I always spoke directly to Gino, and not to a receptionist who could only take a message but couldn't give me an answer. Gino was flexible - I was on a time crunch and also had a tight budget. Also, his crew were courteous, professional, and did beautiful work. Plus they left my apartment spotless when they left.
I will definitely be using Gino for all my repairs and improvements, and I recommend him highly.
These guys were easy to communicate with, priced well, good at what they do, and very fast. Gino was easy to get ahold of both by phone and e-mail and even wedged me in before a bigger project of theirs so he could be sure I'd get my project done (screening and resealing of my hardwood floors) ASAP.
The team was exactly on time and worked very quickly. They did an awesome job and I won't hesitate to hire them again for similar jobs.
I won't name names, but other highly rated handymen have let me down in the past, but Master Handymen totally delivered. I had a laundry list of things to be done, changing out a faucet, fixing a toilet, etc, and when he arrived he got right to work, was very quick, and most importantly, he did it right the first time!
I'll definitely use them again.
Unbeatable! Any woman out there who longs for an honest, skillful, reliable, "HANDYMAN" who can do any big and little repairs, installations, remodeling, painting, you name it, they do it. And most important.... they do it well and with-in budget. I used them to install a ceiling fan and a kitchen faucet. They were fast and CLEAN. They are KEEPERS. I will use them again.

It is now about a year later, and the Handymen Team, once again, lived up to their reputation! I had some weird request and without missing a beat I am now swinging on my porch swing they installed in the concrete ceiling of my loft. I am finally " a swinger," thanks to two marvelous members of Gino's Team.
Finally. A single contractor (actually a group of guys) that I can hire for most everything. I've used these guys for painting several times and some plaster repair. Turns out that they do everything so I had them back for plumbing, electrical work and even ceramic tile since then. While checking on their references I dropped in where they were remodeling an entire home -- kitchen, baths and everything -- and it looked great.
If you have had repair and remodeling jobs done you know the typical problems - no shows, late, starting a job and then disappearing for days at a time to start some other job... But now after at least a half a dozen jobs using these guys I have not had any of these all too typical problems.
* They always show up at the agreed upon time for an estimate.
* They always give me a reasonable estimate.
* They always do the job right.
* They can handle large jobs.
* They are willing to take on small jobs.
For some reason (maybe it just makes life easier) it pleases me to no end that I can call the same crew for almost everything -- whether it is to unplug a stopped drain, install a ceiling fan or remodel a kitchen... if I need a painter or plumber, electrician or carpenter it's still one call. You could call him/them a handyman, or a handyman service, but they are really more than that.

These guys came through for me again. All of that rain in the spring left me with some water damage. When Gino and crew was finished replacing some drywall and patching the rest it looked perfect. What is really COOL is that when they had the wall open they sprayed an "anti-microbial agent" behind the wall to prevent mold from growing. And they used a special stain blocking primer so the stain doesn't show up again like it does when you just paint over the bad spots.
With the number of times I have used these guys for big issues, and with consistently good results, it's amusing that someone here gave them 1 star because it took too long to fix their leaky toilet even though it was done right and inexpensively!
I'm upgrading my review from 4 stars to 5 after the spectacular work these guys did repairing my bathroom tile. Top notch work and the price was right. Looking forward to my next repair.
(Previous review) These guys are fantastic. Very friendly and do a great job. I'd hire them for anything. In fact they did the roof on my neighbor's garage and I'm extremely jealous.
The two guys that came to hang our heavy mirror in our living room did a wonderful job. They were professional and did the work quickly but well. We're definitely hiring them for any future fix.
just had these guys come out to do some minor work in my kitchen/ bathroom. Omar + assistant were very friendly and more or less professional. the cost wasn't too bad (they actually charged me less than the estimate, which is awesome), but then again, the work wasn't terribly complex, either.
i'm going 4 stars because this is not a very formal business - i didn't get very swift responses either by email or phone. the responses were not very informative, which made me feel like i was really going out on a limb (but for the solid reviews here, i never would have used them). for instance, when i described the work and asked for an estimate, Gino responded back with "what's your address." he just wanted to send the guys w/o giving me an idea of cost. and, they were supposed to call me on their way over, but they just showed up instead - lucky i was home.
still, as everyone else notes, they are prompt and seem to do good work at an honest price. the lack of formality probably has a lot to do with that. downside i guess is that you're not going to get a lot of details upfront, but i don't think they'll screw you. i'd say for small stuff definitely use them. bigger projects....not sure yet.

We needed some electrical work done around our office and thanks to you fellow yelpers, we give Master Handymen a call. They were excellent! Reasonably priced, worked around our schedule, prompt, efficient and did great work. We will definitely have them back for any future work - I highly recommend!
