I had never paid a professional for a massage before, but booking my appointment was far from intimidating. I had already been feeling a sense of semi-calm by the time I left my home and headed to their office, located in the basement of the building on the corner, just beside and below the vintage shop.

I instantly saw why they had chosen to be below ground: there were no noises, no possible distractions. With the accompaniment of soft music I felt very comfortable being there.

Kiera knew how to read my back like a book. She sought out to break down the tension in places I didn't even know existed on my back and body in what they call the Swedish massage.

When it was all over, I felt renewed and I was in very positive spirits, feeling like I had unlocked an amazing new outlet. When your body is suffering, your mind is suffering. When your mind is suffering, so is your body. Kiera's talents, I believe, can help with both.

I called only hours ahead of time for a back/neck/shoulders massage.  They fit me in even though I gave them no more than a 4 hour window.

The actual business has no store front and is located in a large professional warehouse. This is great because I hate walking into the street from a massage looking way too relaxed to be in NYC.

After asking about any health issues I might have Robert got started and delivered one of the best massages I've had. I had a moderate kink in my neck and he worked it almost completely out.

The massage alleviated my neck cramp almost completely, was relaxing and just felt like it was being done with complete professional competence.

I would recommend Massage Williamsburg and Robert with confidence to any one who needs a little body work done or simply wants to relax.
Pleasant conversation was all bonus points.

I received a massage from here as a gift and really enjoyed it. I got lucky  was scheduled with Emily. She was warm, professional and instantly made me feel comfortable. Emily took the time to do a pre-massage consultation and feel I got a more customized massage because of it. I will defiantly go back and would recommend it to anyone of my friends.

Had an amazing 1hr session with Nicole. As this was my first professional massage, it truely turned me into a believer!

Outside the normal work grind, I climb regularly so I tend to be sore in the upper back and shoulder areas. More recently in the lower back as well. Nicole took note and went to work.

I came out a changed man, completely relaxed and tension free. Looking forward to my next session with Nicole who did an amazing job!

The space is clean, quiet and super relaxing. You will be in the care of professionals! Do yourself a favor and give them a call!

I had just come off of a terrifying and weird massage session with an unlicensed massage therapist I found on Yelp (Paul Gillard, please avoid him!) and needed someone to not only reinstill in me a faith in bodywork but to really work through a back injury I suffered in yoga class (yes, of all places).

Robert gave me a fantastic, very personalized 90-minute massage, explaining the whole way through what he was doing, and why. Not only did I feel the knots and tension in my muscles melt away, once he wwas done, Robert took the time to go over some exercises I can do on my own to relieve my always-tense upper back, shoulders, and neck area.

I was lucky enough to book an appointment with Rachel. She worked on my back and neck like I had requested, and was able to relieve some of the aches and pains I had been experiencing.

Major bonus: the place is in a nice quiet building, and the facility itself is clean and cozy.

I love my Asian tuina massages for economic reasons (can't beat $45/hr) so yeah this place is a bit pricey for me, but when it's time for a professional massage where your therapist actually understands what you mean when you say "I have a sore scapula" or can pinpoint your pain in your adductor and fix it, this is my new go-to place.  My therapist was very respectful of my requests, was great with pressure points on my sore areas, and the work on my neck felt so good.  Walked out feeling as light as a feather!

Rachel is A-mazing!  I came to get a massage for my lower back pain.  She took a lot of time going over my problems and really focused on what I needed.  She gave me an amazing massage and even showed me some stretches that will help me in the future!  I haven't felt this good in months!

I got a truly terrific massage from Robert here.  I had been under lifetime stress over the previous 2 months - he listened to my woes - he gave me great advice - but mostly his fingers did the walking!  I felt so very much better.  I was able to sleep through the night and stay for a full workout at the gym the next day - the first for too long.  I'm highly recommending this guy.  Go to him - your body and your soul will thank you.

By the end of my hour I was so relaxed it took me a few minutes to attempt moving.  Lily (or Leah, I'm bad at names) did a great job working out my many knots while keeping it a relaxing experience and also taught me some stretches I can do to keep loose.  This is place neither super cheap nor expensive.  I thought the price was very reasonable for what you get: a great massage in a clean, quiet, relaxing environment.  I plan to return as often as the budget allows.

I have primarily seen Rachel for massage, but am also familiar with some of the other therapists as well.  It is by far one of the best massages I have ever had.  Rachel is incredibly knowledgeable about the body and its many ailments, and if you ask her to, she can do deep tissue like no other.  I am a personal trainer in the neighborhood and have been referring my clients to Massage Williamsburg for well over a year now, and my clients love it.  This is a real massage- a therapeutic medically based massage, not a Qi Gong parlor that either leaves you bruised of wondering if they even did anything.  It is well worth it!
