I have been dumping quite a bit of money on storage units for my mother's and mine's things that I don't have room for in Beacon Hill. After 5 years, I don't think I am ever going to need whatever is being storaged, so I neeed help clearing out the units and donating/tossing anything non-essential. Throw into the mix that I am vacating the state in 2 weeks, and you have a receipe for disaster.
I called MassJunk based on reviews here on Yelp. I needed someone with a truck that could come and help carry boxes that I could not lift, but still be patient while I dug through them for anything with sentimental value. That was Stephen and his guy(I am sorry, I don't remember your name) for sure! When I called Stephen up he quoted me a good flat price with a discount for mentioning Yelp! He was able to work me in that weekend, and on Sautrday morning at 8AM, we started clearing out the junk. We ended up filling his truck, and he hauled it away for donation. Overall, I am very pleased with how quick, affordable, and easy the whole process was. -

Stephen was amazing to work with...we had a lot of wood, metal, windows, and crap to get rid of. Not only Mass Junk was able to haul it all away, but the price was very reasonable considering the amount of stuff that was taken.
Everything was done quickly and couldn't have asked for a better service. We will be calling them again.
We emailed for a quote and they were available over the Memorial day weekend without any extra charge or delay. It was a lot better than getting a dumpster in our driveway to sit there.
We'll be calling them again when we redo our basement! -

I needed some crap gone from my place and I needed it gone fast. I have issues with my back so I can't lift heavy furniture down several flights of stairs. My friends gave me the numbers of some of the big name junk removal services but I couldn't fathom spending upwards of $300 to remove stuff that was just going to go to a landfill anyways!
Enter Mass Junk. I called them in the evening, they were there at 9AM the next day. They quoted me a price that was dramatically lower than the quotes I got from the big name services.
This is an independent business, the guy who runs it comes himself with another guy. Both were friendly, professional and courteous. I found them very trustworthy and not sketchy at all. This is a must when you are letting strangers into your house!
All in all a great experience. I feel good knowing I supported an affordable local business. I would use them again and recommend them to my friends. -

Steven from Mass Junk is great! Fast response time, friendly service, lots of great advice and they'll clean-up after themselves - best part was their prices were SO competitive!
Mass Junk did such a good job with my first project that I had them come back 3 more times!

I had the pleasure of working with Stephen's crew as part of a move. Scheduling with them was easy, and when they came, the crew was great. More specifically, they quickly and efficiently hauled away our junk and gladly took on more junk we didn't even think they would haul.

I've used Mass Junk several times and I've referred them many more times always with great reviews. Now-a-days you are limited with trash removal you really need trash removal alternatives. Mass Junk does a great job that is fast and most important at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Great experience. Called him with a days notice to clean out a storage space at my condo, I live in NYC and have a tenant in my old place in Boston. I couldn't get back to do the work, so I just hoped the reviews here were accurate and I could trust these guys, turned out perfectly well, everything went as planned and very well priced.
