1809 Santa Rita RdI got some 'tude but realized it's who they are, they weren't being rude. Just edgy without trying to be... :-)
So now I take all my shoes there every year for a tune up.
Fast, good work. Yeah, these guys rock!
This is my father-in-law's shop. His son(my husband) Ron Maselli Jr. will be taking it over at some point. It has been handed down through the men in the family since 1932. I am very proud of this shop and the work they do. My husband has been around it his whole life and it the best next to his dad of course in the shoe repair industry. He can make your favorite pair of shoes that are worn out and should be tossed in the garbage look like new. It is amazing!
I love shoes, so I married into the right family. I am still amazed when I send my shoes in with my husband at how they look when I get them back. It's like going shoe shopping. You feel like you have a new pair of shoes!
It's true they have that straight forward New York Italian attitude. They will tell you the truth when you ask them a question about your shoes. Don't be offended if they tell you they are made of cheap material. Remember they have been around since 1932. They know what they are talking about when it comes to shoes.
Remember you get what you pay for in this industry and here you get the best!

This man is amazing, I had some Jimmy Choos that he repaired. I was so scared bringing it here because I dont get the impression people out here wear these kinds of shoes but he knew what he was doing. He was quick and affordable. My girlfriends are all coming out from the UK in the summer and brining their shoes that need repairs!
They actually repaired this little handbag that I bought at this botique in Carmel. There was no way I was going to be able to find another like it so I was so bummed when the strap broke. These guys fixed it quickly and it's as good as new.
Just remember these guys for expensive bags too. They did a great job for me on mine.

They are definitely the best in town. A Italian family owned store who also fix shoes for Nordstorms. They fixed 2 pair of boots and 1 pump for me in 3 days and they even cleaned and touched them up! I will definitely be going back in the future instead of throwing my attention needing shoes in the corner of my closet or tossing them in the trash. A little touch up or new heel can do wonders.
I normally go to a different shoe repair store, but decided to try Maselli Bros after finding yelp reading all these good reviews. Verdict: they ruined my 200$ pair of boots. Not only did they change the color completely, they were quick to put the blame on the quality of the shoes and my disregard. Very rude and arrogant owners. With work that is solely based upon service, you would think they would be friendly and accepting... not so.
I even created a yelp account just to post this review, as I have never been so frustrated in my life. I will never take my shoes or any work back to these rude and incompetent people.
I recommend you take your repair work elsewhere.

I actually went here based on reading other Yelp reviews. I love my fornarina sandals.. you know, the 4.5" platforms that transform little 5'4" me to a normal height? But my beloved Italian shoes have gotten a lot of wear and tear over the years, and my favorites are 5+ years old by now, I can't replace them as they are way out of season by now.
So after several lazy attempts to re-glue my own shoes, I caved and started looking for a shoe repair place.
I dropped off 2 pairs of shoes, one was a pair of the aftermentioned fornarinas (i have 5 different styles of fornarina platform sandals, and two pairs of boots), and the other was a pair of sandals i got in Bali for $3. The Balinese sandals had a lot of sentimental value, and they are way cute, but lots of wear had broken a strap on one.
I dropped the shoes off on a Tuesday, and they were able to have both ready for me by Friday upon request. The price was on par with every other show repair place I've been, not cheap, but not overpriced either. The shoes came back to me in great condition and have lasted through much more wear and tear than my own sad attempts to repair them myself accomplished.
Overall, a good experience.

I am so glad I found this place. For the longest time, I was trying to find a shoe repair place as good as the one I went to in NYC. This is pretty comparable. I have brought my stilletos that needed to be re-heeled and have no-slippage applied, my bag with the string coming off, etc, and they do a consistent job every time and my shoes are always shined up! I was actually really amazed that they fixed my bag so well!

This place is fantastic. They can pretty much fix any type of shoe with absolutely no change to the original style. An added plus is that Nordstrom's (Stoneridge Mall) sends ALL their shoes there for repair. Need I say more?
The fellas who own this shop are fab. I came here to get the heel of my favorite shoes fixed and they did a perfect job. They even changed the color of the heel to match the shoe more accurately. The quoted price was more than fair, and they finished the job right on time for my vacation!
The shop owners are a bit abrupt in their manner--- think New York Italian ... straightforward and to the point. They take pride in their shop, and if you bring cheap shoes in, they will tell you so and give you a stern talking-to about the benefits of quality shoes. Personally, I wouldn't take my boots to any other place!

My go-to shoe repair shop...there are not many good quality places like this left.
Since my mom doesn't Yelp, I'll write this little blurb for her. I remember a few weeks ago when she asked me to look up this place. She remembered going here, but couldn't remember the name. My mom needded some shoes dyed again, and Maselli's did a great job the 1st time, no one else would do. I looked them up and it all came back to her. She brought the shoes in and once again had excellent service. If mom says so, then they must be good. Are you calling my mom a liar?
