If you want to avoid the crowds and the heat...then, this is the best park to go have a picnic under the trees and have a little play date afterwards!
This is a small, quiet park with two play structures along with a rocky water fountain area where the little ones can play with sand and water.
The water does come on every 30 minutes, so the kids really look forward to playing with the water once it is on. It stays on for a few minutes, then, shuts off. Once the water is gone, the children go back to play on the play structures.
All in all, this is the best park in the area and we will definitely be back again soon! -

Remodeled almost a year ago, the Marymeade playground and park is a quaint little spot to play. One really cool feature on a hot day is the water play area, a small waterfall that splashes down onto rocks as it comes into a little sand area. What's really cool is that the water is recycled. It runs for thirty minutes, then stops for the same amount of time while the water filters back through a special system to run again for kids to play in. This means not only is the water clean every time, the solution is green! Bravo Los Altos Parks and Rec!
Other attractions include picnic tables, barbecue pits and large grass area and public restrooms. Access to parking is off Fremont Ave. -

Went there this afternoon to relax and play with my girlfriend and my son and had such a great time! The park had plenty of parking and was stroller friendly. There were enough benches and tables for everyone. The best part was it was very clean and well maintained. All the other park people were very cordial and respected your space and privacy. Even the children were playing well together! The best part was there was a big kid play ground and a little kids play ground-enough to do for everyone! This is definitely a new favorite!
