First time! and I loved this place. Overall, I really love the inner harbor, excellent place to go on a date, hang out all day, eat good food, have good drinks and check out some serious wildlife.

and the drive from DC was a cake walk. Definitely should go if you have a need for a good day out and about.

This is our third year as zoo members. We love taking our kids here and they love it just as much. The grounds are just large enough to spend a day without feeling overwhelmed. A "tram" has been added so you don't have to walk the dreaded hill any longer.
It is the third oldest zoo in the country, behind Philadelphia (1873) and Cincinnati (1874).
